Verified by the National Federation of High School Associations and the University Interscholastic League in Texas, Ponder High School set the national record for 3-pointers made in a season with an astonishing 388 makes.

The Lions were incredibly efficient from behind the 3-point line this season, sinking 388 of 1122 attempts (34%). They were led by shooting guard Chase Harris, who made 124 of 319 attempts over the course of the season (39%). Not far behind was point guard Brady Anderson who sunk 114 shots in 307 attempts (37%). Their best team performance came in a game on February 15 against Callisburg in which they went 21 of 45 (47%) from 3-point land. Harris put up 43 points in that game and made 8 three’s. Anderson added 34 points and 9 three’s.

Congrats to Ricky Norris and his Oak Ridge team. I think the turnover that lead to the go ahead lay up was probally the play of the game. Even after Jackson back to back 3's OR was still up 2, then came the turnover.

I believe Dowdell should have called timeout.

Who will be Boys Basketball Coach?

Well if your "sure" then you must have a complete list of those teams and the players they have added since Nov. 23. Right? Anybody with half a brain would know that White Station is the most improved team in the tournment. No team has added a player like Farrakan Hall. Im not going to be like the hand full of Antioch fans and say White Station will "crush" everybody else. The reason for my post is to say there are no clear cut winners here. If that offends you as a Antioch fan then you'll just have to get over it. You need to learn how to rexpect other teams. Has Antioch ever won a state championship in basketball?

I have to agree here. This has to be one of the evenly matched state tourneys that TN has ever had!

Every Ticket will be well worth the price of admission! Let's also hope each schools' student body creates a great atmosphere for these game! Good Luck to each team!

Ricky Norris has to be 1 of the top coaches in the whole state not just in East Tennessee.

Before Oak Ridge he did a heck of a job rebuilding Oliver Springs High School Basketball team.

He is a great teacher of the game.

I am guessing there will be one for the high school state tourney but I am looking for the NCAA Bracket Contest.

If anyone could post a link or something please do.

I think seeing who knows their NCAA Basketball between the posters on this site will be alot of fun!

They can play. If there 3's are falling and they are creating TOs off the press the will be hard to handle.
