Lawrence County has to travel to Chattanooga to take on the mighty Ooltewah Owls. Does anyone on here think that Lawrence County can go and upset the Owls like they did the Riverdale Warriors? Lawrence County is very talented and can hit from top to bottom with almost any team in the state. This is a one game playoff and anything can happen. Good luck Lawrence County.

Lawrence County has a pretty good Freshman in Shelby Boyd. Hit over .400 with 5 home runs. in 8 AAA.

Lawrence County has played Coffee County 4 times this year and I would have to say that they are playing as well as any team in the state at this time. I think I'm right in saying that they have won 18 in a row and have not lost since winning their tournament. Good luck Coffee County I hope you and Lawrence County do well in the sub-state.

Thanks for the update. This should be a great game. Every game these two teams have played against each other this year have been good games and this one should not be any different. I hope our Lady Cats can pull this one out and bring home a Regional Championship. I also wish Coffee County well in the Sub-State, but I hope they lose tonight.

Just one question. Why was it such a shock that Lawrence County beat Tullahoma? Yes Tullahoma beat Lawrence County twice this year, but Lawrence County I think has beat Tullahoma 3 out of the last 5 times they have played. So I'm really not sure that this should have been classified as a shock. Good luck to both Lawrence County and Coffee County in the Region.

This district is very competative. Lawrence County lost 4 seniors from a very good softball team. 2 of those 4 seniors were starters. We have 11 freshman in this class who can come in and help this team immediately. This is going to be an exciting year in 8 AAA softball. Good luck to all the teams in this district.

Hi Mary what area are you from? Me and a couple other coaches are putting together a team for this fall and we might be interested.

We have a 16 u team from Lawrenceburg that could use a couple of players. If you don't have any luck putting your team together let me know on here and maybe we can get in touch.

I no Lawrence County didn't make it out of their district, but anyone who knows anything about this team and this district know that 2 years ago they didn't even win a district game. This year they went 21-13. They were picked to finish 4th or 5th in the district and ended up tied for 2nd. So my vote would go to the district 8 AAA Coach of the year Tony Fincher.

I wasn't at the Forrest whitwell game but I did hear that forrest had a lot of base running mistakes. Not saying that forrest would win 8-10 match ups against whitwell. I'm just stating that Forrest is a very good team, and it's not like them to make many mistakes in one game. Good luck to all the remaining teams in the boro.
