DEFINETLY A TOUGH DRAW FOR LA. I THINK THE 3 FAVORITES ARE LA, FULTON AND BOLIVAR.
WHAT DAY DO THE PLAY ON AND WHAT TIME?
BTW is probably the AA favorite.
LA vs. Bolivar play Wed. at 5:00 PM.
Good luck to LA.

Congrats to Sycamore, Harpeth and Creekwood!

Thanks so much. Finally some real BB info. What about Greenbrier? Heard they're young and 22 can shoot but that's about all.
#22 Craig Bradshaw (only a freshman) for Greenbrier can do more than shoot. He is an all around solid player. He is actually ranked 7th in the state for the class of 2012. In my opinion he is one of the best freshman in the state. He fouled out tonight with 7 minutes to go against Upperman down 9 points....then Greenbrier lost by 19.
Check out this picture on the link. Bradshaw is # 24 in their white jerseys.

Good luck to Upperman.

Not much talk about DCA ??? Wondering who are their top players ???
#24-Senior-Good shooter and slasher
#54-Senior-Big and strong around the basket
#12-Senior-Lefty who can score inside and out
#00-Freshman-Good shooter-smart player
#10-Freshman-Point guard-small but handles ball well, plays hard-I really like this kid
#30-Freshmn-comes off bench-good shooter and not shy
DCA will be moving to DII next year, but their future looks bright with a strong freshman class. They are well coached.
DCA has been up and down this year due to injury and youth. They also play in 8-AA which is down this year. I don't think they can hang with LA, but I wouldn't overlook them by any means.
-
I don't think anyone should over look DCA. If they've played White House to one and then defeated them once, and White House played Station Camp to 4 points ............
Greenbrier beat DCA twice and White House once......so who knows anything can happen.
Some water cooler knowledge...DCA starts two freshmen and will often have 3 freshmen on the floor at one time.
Greenbrier's leading scorer is a freshman.

WH did not lose to Westmoreland, WH won 59-44 on Dec.5th and the Jan. 19th game was never played as far as i know.
Tennessean reports: Westmoreland 46 White House 41 on 2/14.

WHITE HOUSE WILL BE 6-4 IN THE DISTRICT IF THEY BEAT PORTLAND. WILL THAT BE ENOUGH TO FINISH 2ND IN THE REGULAR SEASON DISTRICT STANDINGS? COME TO PLAY FRIDAY NIGHT BECAUSE PORTLAND WILL BE READY.
If White House wins at Portland they will be 2nd. If White House loses and Greenbrier beats DCA, Greenbrier will be 2nd.
The bottom 5 of this district are all about even. It will be interesting to see which team shows up at the district tourney.
The top 4 region 4-AA teams are Livingston, Upperman, Station Camp.....and ???????????
Good luck to all 8-AA teams.
-
Thanks for the updates...please keep them coming.
-
how the heck is it funny? greenbrier hung with yall and we beat greenbrier
Because your team scored 16 points against Gallatin...and Station Camp beat Gallatin. And you lost to Greenbrier tonight.
But good luck...the panthers are well coached, play good defense and play hard...those always give you chance.

Was everyone satisfied with the selections?
I was really surprised with the AA selection. I`m sure Jenkins is a good guy and great player, but I`m a little surprised. I think of a Mr. BB as being the obvious best player on the team, therefore being the team leader. IMO, if you have two teams with finalist in the tourney, I would`ve thought one of those players would`ve won it because they had led their teams there. Yes I`m a DC fan and know how important Blake is to the Choctaws as is "Z" to CPA, but never had the chance to see Jenkins simply because. I thought Mason might slightly edge out Blake, but I`m sure this young man is deserving.
MJ was no surprise at all.
Congrats to all the winners.
Jenkins was deserving. Not only is he the best player in AA, but probably the best player in any class in the state of TN. I saw a lot of great players in the state tourney, but none with the whole package Jenkins has.
I would expect Joe Jackson (White Station) to have a good shot in AAA next year and the year after. I was very impressed with this young man.

Greenbrier beat Portland 74-68

OK...So let's say the game will be like the first..WH turns it over 5 times.... Then the game will be close??? That sounds like what you are saying, to me. It is in any teams favor if the other turns it over 5 times.
No, if our passing game is clicking, then the running game will to eventually. 5 turnovers and GB still lost.
Appears to me Greenbriers gameplan is critical if they are to win. We turned it over and still won.
You guys need to quit with the psych stuff and face the reality of the situation.
It didn't take long for the BDP arrogance to rear it's ugly head.....
However, I did appreciate and respect what Coach Porter and the White House community did for the Polk County coach.
Greenbrier is the underdog....just like last week. Anything can happen.
Good luck Bobcats.

Greenbrier leads at the half 6-3.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Coachhard, but with DeKalb winning over Macon, from what I'm told tonight it goes to Region wins, which would put us in at #4 since we won over Sycamore. That's kinda what I read in the TSSAA possibllities too.
I want to say GREAT GAME to the Bobcats tonight. They played hard and gave it their all. I agree with you Coachhard and the other poster that watched CSS. The refs call was bad but that was a great kick at the end of the game. Three last minute losses in a row show that Greenbrier CAN hang with good teams like Pearl Cohn and White House. I just hope that I'm correct on what I read that Greenbrier is #4. I need a little weekend trip away anyway...../smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
Correct...thanks to Dekalb we finished 4th. And..yes it was a great kick and a great high school football game tonight.
We will go to McMinn Central
