This region is real even right now and I expect may close games so it is hard to pick a winner. There is no dominant team really in this region. I pick SH because they are a 3 seed and really there is no pressure on them and they can play the underdog spoiler roll. I know I am probably the only one that thinks this but what the heck. SH wins Region 1-AAA.

I want to say kudos to DB and Science Hill for winning/sharing the Big Nine Title. I am from Chattanooga and I am comming to see the District Tourney at Viking Hall in Bristol. I read in the paper that the District Tourney has a new fromat this year. Can someone explain how it works and I hope there is a big crowd at Viking Hall next week.

I could have told you that. Central loves to score. During the summer the varsity squad split into 2 teams and played in a tournament...when they played the score was like 105-108. Coach Vaughn wants to push the ball and make the other team have to score everytime, which can happen since Central gets sloppy on defense sometimes.

 

High scoring, close games is Cougar Basketball.

But the saying goes in Basketball 101 "Offense wins games Defense wins Championiships.

That's about sorry blaming the refs. I don't care who DB is playing I will NEVER pull for them and it is mostly because of their sorry fans like you. DB had every opportunity to beat Central in the districts but they choked....Not the refs fault when a senior misses free throws that could have iced the game. Be ready for Thursday night.

DB will be more than ready ever heard of the revenge factor. DB has nothing to lose and everything to gain. Central as the #1 seed has the presure on them. Good Luck Thursday Central because your gonna need it.

Sure they might get killed,but making it to state is a very good accomplishment.I mean,the way I look at it,last year,Central got 5th in the state tournament,becuase after the first round they never played consolation games.They also ran into a school with 3 D-1 recruits.

Not so fast my friend correct DB is 3-0 against Sullivan South it is possible you guys could meet in the regional championship so it is not a sweep yet until South gets eliminated,

IF and thats a big IF, the Rebs take care of the ball, be patient and stay in a half court offense and play smart defense then they have a chance. I remember 5 or 6 years ago South entered the Region against the favored Greene Devils on the Devils home floor, started out quickly and held on for a huge upset. Hope it happens again. Good luck to all District 1!!!

Oh I watch the Sullivan Central Cougars play ball up there in Bristol. Remember the ARBY'S CLASSIC they won how many games in that tournament 0.

Science Hill stinks two and they were third in the tourney it just shows that NE Tenn Basketball can not cut it with the big boys baby.

Um, who said that Sullivan Central was gonna win State? Not me and I don't think any other Cougar fans said it. YET. Sullivan Central has several things that would make you shake in your boots, If you were a ball player that is. So why don't you shut your mouth and sit up in the stands with your popcorn and propel and watch the Cougars show the D2 teams how it's done at Regionals. Ohhh wait!! At least the Tarheels are the defending National Champions friom 2005 and they have a winning record this year with freshman. I will probably fall alseep watching the Cougars play in the Regionals because of their redneck basketball skills and style of play.They don't impress me much and they are Overrated!!! Overatted!!! Wiggins probably has a 3.85 GPA. He got 1.0 his freshman year, 1.0 his sophmore year, and maybe 2.85 this year. That being said Greeneville will not win the state and why dont we meet in a dark alley so I can beat the living heck out of ya you duke ballboy

At least the Tarheels can win the National championship in there respected sport of college basketball. How many State Championships has Greeneville won in Basketball recently. Students at Greeneville High School are dumber than a bunch of rocks and probably could not find Murfreesboro on a map. Wiggins your best player probably had someone take the ACT test for him so he could get recruited by a good Division 1 School next year after his senior season.

Greeneville should go to State but anyone can get beat on any given day my friend. So don not be a cocky piece of crap ComexxxOrginal 2221. Greeneville is not perfect as you think they are jackass.

Enjoy your little district championship because I guarantee you will not win the regional championship. You will be expected to win as the number 1 seed and you will choke mark my words. PS F*ck Sullivan Central.
