When you're playing 10-12 kids of relatively equal (good) ability, who reach, slap, and grab and play hands all over it's pretty easy for the opposition to reach the 30 foul shot plateau. On the other hand, when you have a somewhat slim bench you can't afford to foul. Thus, the difference in the calls. Anyone who would say otherwise is a moron with little to no knowledge of the game.

Coach Williams and coach Green did an excellent job with the Liberty basketball program. For people who don't know, these are two awesome coaches who demand 100% every night and they teach these kids how to be winners, what more can you ask for. Good job!!! From the biggest Liberty fan and friend. (Don't forget my ring). LOL. now you know who this is.

Where are you from? i am going to east tn, because you dont anything about basketball. I dont agree! Duh! explain yourself. Everything I stated at the start of this topic is facts. Which means there is proof(in case you didn't know rocket scientist). now prove me wrong BlunwhiteH8Tribe. You also thought Mcminn would beat Liberty. Enough said do your homework before you speak genius.

While attending the Goodpasture versus Mitchell game, I was sitting next to a fan that was very upset because Mitchell was holding the ball, (smart coaching By Mitchell) he stated and I quote: Mitchell is scared, we are a small school this is our first year in AA we were A last year, if they are so good why are they holding the ball? (not so smart coaching by Goodpasture). This raises a good question. Are classifications overrated?

Over the last four years AA is the stronger class by far. I could use the same excuse as stated above for Humboldt or Grace Baptist, Humboldt was in the same district with Bolivar and Liberty last year, which happens to be a very strong district. Humboldt beat Liberty in the district tournament last year, but they dropped to A this year and for the exception of two players it was the same team, which happens to be very talented. Grace Baptist played a better game. Liberty defeated Raleigh Egypt, Woodale and Fairley all AAA schools. Fairley also defeated Mitchell (go figure). Union City A defeated a very good Haywood team AA. Any strong AA team could be AAA state champions. Bottom line is this(Goodpasture fan) stop crying and play basketball.

Well i thought Central would make it all the way, but obviously they couldn't do it could they. :lol

I hope you really did not believe that, Liberty would have had more trouble with a team that had played below .500 ball out of Memphis. Mcminn is not ready for prime time. 34-1 was because they had a JV schedule compared to liberty. if you want to be technical Liberty only had one defeat all three were to Bolivar Central. Liberty State Champs Baby! Mcminn do your homework.

That game was intense and really showcased some great talent. I only wish Sampson would have been named to the All-Tournament Team.

I agree sampson should have been named to the all tournament team, the kid has a lot of heart.

No! there is no schedule mix up they defeated Raleigh Egypt on November 18th. Do your homework and you would know this and it was not a scrimmage. By the way use Coach T for more than talk, look at team schedules bhscoach. The answer was in the question you are on the site that gives you all that information. Duh?

Mcminn has a weak schedule compared to those teams. The girls are better in East Tn. West Tn reigns supreme until you prove me wrong.

I'm anxious to see how good Goodpasture actually is...I think it will be Mitchell & McMinn Central in the Championship with Mitchell taking it all...hope my boys can win it all though...

Congrats Liberty for what sounds like a well played game for both teams.

 

This will cause Bolivar to work harder. Maybe a good clean rivalry will develop.

 

Now we need a nice substate victory.

Willie Kemp has awesome game, no doubt about it he is the man, so smooth. Brandon Evans has mad skills also, if he develops a killer instinct he will be an awesome force. Very strong upper body, awesome hangtime and can jump out of the gym. Congrats to Brandon and the whole Liberty squad for an awesome game.

So, what happened? Why is it going to be longer than 5 games now? I am still confused. And your post didn't really help. Does the criteria for being an honor student change if you are over 18? Does it really matter whether or not anyone on Bolivar's basketball team or on Liberty's is an honor student? I was under the impression we are discussing basketball, not academic achievements.

 

And you should expect this behavior from someone from Bolivar? I can only assume from your post that you know everyone in Bolivar, and are therefore qualified to pass judgment on those who are from Bolivar.

 

And you said you can prove what you said about Bolivar's team? All I see are questions, which means you failed to make a statement at all.
