I heard Tyler Burstrum is throwing again for WB tomorrow against SD. He threw good last time, but after watching SD play last wednesday at Heritage I see SD scoring a lot of runs espically with the short porches in left and right at WB. WB will score a couple runs because their bats are really hot right now, but without Mark throwing WB is in trouble.

yea burstrum is throwin and he did a good job of holdin SD to jsut 1 run last time in the 1-0 win over WB in a scrimmage....both teams have very hott bats but i think SD not only has hott bats but they have power behind those bats and i dont think that WB does...and TG...WB is more of a surprise than SD i agree

Jordian u need to take stuff more serious there is not any leader ship from the seniors like there was last year. all of the seniors just play around u dident see mike mike playing around he was getting the job done being a leader for our team.if u was like that i wouldnt have a problem with u mike and orlando never put down there team mates like u do. u are always talking about Roger and how he isent going to start and junk i bet Roger was stonger then u when u was a freshman. i bet u dident even squat 405 untill your sohmore year. all i saying is dont put down your team mates and step up and be a leader that u are sapose to be. so peace out

Yea catty pitched and my boys and WB shut him out....and then they switched pitchers and he threw like 2 pitches and they switched again...the govs played AWESOME tonite...they wanted it bad and they got it...this was a good win for the govs they deserve it....

I went to the South Doyle and Farragut game tonight. I have never seen a team hit like South Doyle did. The game was over quickly when SD jumped on them quickly . I guess old 40 year old Virgin was right. He led the charge with his cheering and pom poms. The score was 10-0 after the first inning. But I am picking Central to beat them tomorrow, they have one pitcher who throws in the 90's who just moved in Knoxville from California. Score tomorrow- Central 10 SD 9 in an error plagued game.

I have watched a lot of tennis in my day.. the best player i have ever seen is Maria Farmer from SD.. She can place the ball and has a mean serve and back hand.. without a doubt she will win state.. JUST KIDDING.. shes no good

This freshman at Seymour High School is a stud! He can kick the heck outta the ball and place it anywhere on the soccer field...ive seen him play and ive never seen anything so amazing! He's from Florida and u need 2 watch out for this up and coming big time playmaker!

Personally i have never seen the kid play but i do know one thing. nathan burns from SD can stop the heck outta this kid. seymour soccer.... what a memorable thing

Ryan McConnel and Harris Abernathy are 2 goaltenders that people should watch out for this year although i havent had the chance to see them play this year im sure they will both be having some impressive all-state/all-american seasons and are both forces to be reckoned with

Yeah Carter is the First game of the season for our Cherokees(AUG 25)I just hope they get into to the game and everything goes right SD dont start spring practice til April 27...and for Carter they started last week and they are lookin good...D looks awesome.....I hope the Kees will kick the season off with a good game and for a few Seniors 62,21,10,51 Good Luck!!GO KEES!

Matt Beard started on the mound for Central who ended up hitting 3 people i think before getting pulled out. Central had 3 pitchers in the first 3 innings due to the fact that we they were walking people and hitting people. I think there ended up being 5 or 6 hit batters. South Doyle did a good job of hitting the ball all over the field. Haun or Connely didnt get a hit i dont think or if they did it was 1 because of the pitchers walking or hitting them. Not the best game Central has played but luckily it wasnt a district game and i think they will come back against OR and come out with a victory.

Hawn and Conely both got hits...they both were 2 for 4 w/ Hawn being walked and hit and Conely bein walked twice

 

Edit: conley and hawn were hitless.hawn was 0-0 and conley was 0-1.both reached several times though in a good performance by SD
