I do think the Blue Devils have improved. They have a completely new coaching staff over there. I've heard they are more physical than anyone can remember. I can't wait to see a few of their new coaches that I know from LA. My prediction: SC-34 JC- 13

I think Tyler Greene or Blake Rice from Sparta are pretty good this year too. I guess it could be a bias opinion but they are extremely good.

New to posting.......Jackson Sledge did pitch a great game for FCS. I think according to the schedual I have we will now play the runner up of region 3 and the game will be Friday at Friendship Christian School, Lebanon, TN. Since there are no lights for the field the game will likely be played at 4:00 pm central time like the one today. Anyone have other updates please post them.

JC beat Monterey tonight!!!!!!Martin Hensley pitched an awesome game, and tyler phy finished!!!great showing from both pitchers!!!!Monterey played good also!!!!I wouldnt count either team out!!!!!On a good night both teams are capable of making it far in the post season!!!!!!

Monterey had a good solid game against jackson county last night but we have to start up the sticks a little better...Maybe when we play clay county we will some good pitching we have only saw good pitching in one game this year and that was last night at j.county...but good luck to all teams in the district this year...let the best team win!!!!!!!!!

Well the Forrest game was a heart attack waiting to happen. But Jackson Co. is more compatable to Forrest.

 

Jackson Co. looks very deep on the bench, probably nine good players. Forrest is almost as deep; seven deep, very solid for sure.

 

I think Forrest was exposed on ball handling today. Even though JC has great defense, they don't have the sticky fingers that MAM showed. (that freshman Faulkner is going to be great).

 

I'm hoping Forrest can get their outside shot going better and they need better hustle after the ball than I saw today.

Jackson County has a great ball team, however its not over yet, some of you might want to cool off a bit, I hear crow doesn't taste good!

Our girls have stepped up and done what was necessary to make it to the Class A State Championships. No,we may not have your "Great and Storied History" but what we have is another group of ladies like your own who have worked and played their hearts out for years, and now have made it to the Big Dance. And as another of the parents of our girls has said, we believe we have raised WINNERS both on the court and off, no matter how tomorrow turns out. Lady Rockets..... Congrats on your hard fought win today and I can't say enough about how this team has "refused to lose". Go Get EM Lady Rockets!!!!!!!

I'll be the first to admit that our girls did not play their best. But, I saw the game against Hampton and you can't tell me JCs defense is all that you make it out to be. I will say no more about the refs except that it would have been a much closer game if the game had been called right (especially on the walks). I do not disrespect the JC players, in fact I think they played a good game. I only hope that they do not become arrogant JC fans when they grow up. You're right, by calling you arrogant I did not mean it as a compliment. And FYI, the definition of arrogance is "too proud and contemptuous". Also, FYI....contemptuous means "showing contempt, scornful". And, one more....contempt means "the condition of being scorned, despised; disgrace". This will be my last post on this topic. I will not lower myself to your standards by getting back on here to see if you replied to this post. But I'm sure you will.....you can't help yourself.

What makes everyone think that Summertown cannot play JC in the half court? Franks may be as good, if not better, than #24. Whoever shoots the best will win. Jackson County is good, but they had better get it done this year. All the talk about the next 5 years is wishful thinking. With what they are losing to graduation, this had better be their year.

The prediction is just to get you JC fans stirred up. I really do not care who wins. I am just going to enjoy the game. I was hoping to see this matchup along with a Gleason/Wayne County, Gleason/Perry County game, or Gleason/Clarkrange or RBS game on the other side. But they did not take care of business like Mag and Forrest did. Oh well. Good luck to all.
