whats everyones opinion on the game thursday night? Coalfield -played decent they didnt hit the ball that well but they played pretty good defense and there pitching looked decent also. Rockwood- didnt throw anyone, they threw someone from way down in the rotation, didnt hit the ball that good and looked lazy in the field....might be because of the weather and the double header that they had to play. Whats everyones thoughts when rockwood plays coalfield with Breazeale or Duncan on the mound, in mid-season form, and the weather being 90 degrees?

Coalfield played rockwood instead of rhea county thursday night. Rockwood didnt pitch any of there pitching and Coalfield beat them 8-4.

Johnston and the keys are all good players and will all help coalfield out alot. all 3 are good pitchers and solid fielders and pretty good hitters too. Hopefully they will help Coalfield bring back another disrtict title and maybe more.

This stops teams that just have one ACE from winning the disrtict! It sees who can go deep into there rotation to come out with a win.

Gonna be a exciting year for baseball!! Can't wait till it starts. Should be a great year in this district and region play. The district games are schelduled back to back on Mondays and Tuesdays this year. So you cant just bring your A game for one game, Teams are going to have to come out and play 2 good games back to back. How does everyone think the district games back to back are going to work out? Who will they help>? and who will they hurt?

Dont kno the final score Coalfield ended up loosin by 18! it was 4 points till 2 min. left and Coalfield fell apart. Oakdale has been playing good ball from wat i hear. they will give sunbright a run for there money.

sunbright won. coalfiel kept it within 4 till about 2 min left. it got out of control at the end. Coalfield was doing well until they got a technical with 2 min. left down by 4. that changed the game and sunbright took it from there!
