I know that we don't want to finish fourth and have to play@ CSAS!

I don't care who wins coach of the year, but I can't believe that anyone would seriously consider Richard Hardy's coach. If you look on their schedule, half of their games were played against non-TSSAA opponents (Boyd Christian, Paint Rock Valley, Berean). They lost to Lookout Valley early when Valley was worse than they are now. They lost to the first place team, CSAS, by 35 and 36. Whitwell and Valley are having the worst years in their history. Sale Creek is average. This would be a joke for their district.

Looking at the region standings, the Temple-Grace game this week is not the one that matters. The only game Grace should be focusing on is the region semi-finals between them and CSAS, that is assuming that they both get there!

The Andrews kid from jv is a much better player. Temple will be content to just play five now. So does anybody from Temple know why Larson quit?

CSAS looks like they are playing better. I haven't seen Howard play, but I know they are ranked #5 in AA and just beat Brainerd by about 20 so if CSAS only lost by 5 thats pretty good. We have Temple tonight and I would be happy to think we could play them that close. We will be at CSAS on Saturday. Maybe if they beat East Ridge they won't be worrying about us!

Grace wins this one by ten or more. They are at home and have already beaten the Patriots this season. Coach Mathias will have his team ready to play.

I saw the article in the paper, I was wanting some insight from some Grace people who have an opinion and would voice it.

There has been an ongoing thread on what is wrong with Pickett County-you might want to start there! This game should be a no brainer! Anyone who saw Pickett Co. play last year against Grace could not have been impressed and Temple is playing as well as Grace was last year. The refs will be some concern at Pickett, but unless Temple lays an egg they should win this game by double digits.

Will someone who was at the game last night provide some details. I saw the score but would like to know who played good and bad for Grace.

If I looked at the poll right, Grace didn't drop when they lost four of five games, they moved up on spot from 9 to 8. I guess the voters took into consideration that they beat us by 24 and moved them up!

I know that the Grace man to man looks a lot like a zone but it looked to me like Grace was playing zone against us. With Carter camping out in the middle their man is a lot like a zone anyway.

The Silverdale team that Temple sees tonight will be much different than the one they will see in the district tournament.

How many players is CSAS playing? Is there a significant dropoff in the quality of play when the coach subs? Isn't Notre Dame supposed to be one of the top teams in their district this year?

What position does Thompson for Notre Dame play? Who else do they have that is good?

We lost to Hixson last night, played a good first half and then made too many mistakes. Who played well for CSAS last night? I thought that the score would be closer to be honest because of how Boyd plays at home and how the refs call things.

The people at the jamboree were saying as early as Thursday that Temple had not contacted anyone about the boys not playing, that their new AD did not even know there was a jamboree. The girls had a scrimmage against GPS the same time that they were supposed to play and asked to play Saturday and then did not show up or call anyone. These are the facts, I would be glad for anyone who knows them not to be true to speak up!

I was busy attending the jamboree and have not been on coacht till today. Was that "Pature" preaching to the choir (of which I hope he is a member) about people being careful about what they post and questioning coachs decisions or saying something bad about their character or a players ability? Maybe he needs to talk to the girls parents and players at Copper Basin who drove all the way from Copper Hill to play a Temple girls team who did not call or show up on Saturday at the jamboree! This is not about a kid or a personal judgement, it is about a big time lack of consideration for others!

I am amazed to see that although I was trying to have people focus on the coming basketball season, "Pasture" seems content to talk about coachs sons who do not even play anymore. I have never been critical or tried to give my opinion of any other coaches sons or past players. What is the "beef" that "Pasture" has against Coach Dragoo and his family that he continually has to try to put them down. Does he know them? Has he done something against them. From all I know he is a good and decent person who his players love and who work hard for him. His sons worked hard and contributed to winning programs. Lets not sit there and think that any one past or present player needs to be focused on just to make someone else look better! If past experience is the same, "Pasture" will get on this subject, make some prediction for Temple, and then SLAM Dragoo's kids who are now in college or or graduated ! Lets just wait until some games are played to see how things start looking.

This is so funny to read. After all of the negative advertisements from political races it is welcome change to log onto coacht to hear about the good things in life! Grace is young no matter how you look at it. They have at least one very good player and some young potential. They have a good coach and a lot of excitement. Past that, no one will really know until they play real games! Temple lost several seniors, mostly role players, but they played every game. They lost their dorm student starter. They lost their longtime coach. They will still be good, but they will not be the same team as last year. That may be good or bad but it will be different. We won't know until they play some real games, maybe later than others due to football. CSAS has been good in the past and should be good again this year. How good? They have more athletes and overall talent than probably anybody in our region. We won't know how good they will be until they play some real games. Their coach has been there a long time and has had a lot of success. I still don't know why people keep harping on him and his son when you could criticize any coach and people he plays whenever you want. I know that Coach Skogen will get questions this year about his sons, I just hope people won't write about it.
