We don't play Kenwood till tomorrow night, it is our first game so i'll let ya know if we get the game in because the rain...yeah east robertson went 4-0-1 in the JV tournament and won the whole thing, we ended up 4-1 in preseason losing to CPA, so things are looking up for us right now, but its for real tomorrow so we're all tied right now, but anyways tuck we'll see yall next monday, got here to quick!

Dresden @ East Robertson will be hard faught football game! Can't wait to get on the field with them again, they hard hitting, physical team but i think we can get off to a 1-0 start!

East is returning 7 starters on offence and and 6 on defence, seen a couple of polls and got us up in the top 10 and we are returning one of the top QB's in the state (Tico Andrews)...so just wondering how they would fare this year, repeat maybe? I know Ezell, CPA, and Goodpasture will be great again next year but I think we have got over the being scared of private schools thing so just a question for everyone? Like some input back!

I don't think we have any openings Zeke we already got 19 players and I really can't say nothing to Bronson myself. They kinda just go out and get who they want. And i think we already got 2 catchers. But if i hear anything about any openings i'll get to ya. Um get on msaba.org and go to the bottom that says "NEED A TEAM?" and there might be some travel teams on there that needs someone but our travel team is full i would guess with that many players already on it...7 are full time pitchers though, but anyways good luck to Forrest and NCS tomorrow!

I fouled 3 of his balls off but i've never seen that fast in my life. And i know you said that he throws low 90's but the scouts after the game said he hit 97 over 5 times and the gun doesn't lie. He is the real deal and is going to be famous one day and i can say i hit a foul ball off of him...LOL...well good luck today NCS i think we're about to leave and come watch, we're all behind you guys!

Hey man good luck to yall. I think i'm going to come down there if i can get a couple more guys to go with me. We'll be here all the way routing yall on and even though everybody else that has been put out still aint' posting, i'm still routing yall on and hope that yall represent our district well. Good luck tomorrow against Forrest, they are a really good team!

We (East Robertson) don't have the best record to show for how good we can really play ball. I think Will Clinard can go down there to Forrest and pitch and shut them down with a good D behind him on Monday and show that we can really play ball!! If we can just get the ball in play i think that they might make a mistake or two and open a door for us. If we get momentum then we should stay close and maybe win. But if they get on us early and get us down quick then i don't see any way for us to win? So what does everyone else think???

Well aren't we being a little cocky! There is nothing wrong with humility especially when it comes to baseball. It is always better to fly under the radar then to announce your coming down the home stretch! I hope you back up what you say! Oh just remember who these words are coming from! Cocky, Cocky, Cocky..... I guess I should have known and wouldn't expect anything less!
hey coach i was reading back on past posts and i came across this one and i guess we did back it up this year! i think there will be better things to come next year like maybe even a state birth with 8 returning starters and a year of experience under everyone's belt...well hope everyone is ready to play Forrest Monday cause even though i know they are bad, i'm still going to go down there adn give my best defensive effort and hitting effort. Alright just thought i would post since noone else does anymore...GOOD LUCK TO NCS MONDAY! Represent us good and maybe we'll see yall Wednesday, you never know what could happen.

Appreciate it Voldad, yeah it 3-3 but that doesn't even matter cause we didn't win the game and definately give our best team effort. I think its just something with NCS that we just don't play good against yall and get intimidated. Thats what i'm scared of facing Forrest cause i think we'll get intimidated and not play our A game. I know if we went out with Clinard on the mound and played our best defence and could get 2 or 3 runs off of Minor or Skeeley then i think we could make this a good game. I know for sure that i don't want our season to be over yet and i hope the rest of our guys feel the same way. We did something yesterday that no East Robertson baseball team has ever done before and hopefully opened a door for next year, with only one senior leaving this year i think that we could be potential district champs next year and be a region and state-contender but hopefully we can go down to Forrest and give them a good game. I'll get the score on here as soon as it ends.

OK how does this work, is it double elimination in the region or lose one and go home, i would really like this info cause you know we're playing Forrest and i know they are a great team so didn't know if we would get a 2nd game if we win or lose.

East Robertson beat Jo Byrns tonight 3-1. Jo Byrns is a great team and as much as i loved beating them i wish that they were still in it. I have respect for every guy on that team. Even though we are real big rivals, i think we all have a mutual respect for each other and both want each other do good in everything they do. Good luck to the Jo Byrns seniors, it isn't going to be the same next year not seeing yall's faces on the field. Even though the season wasn't like yall wanted to be, yall are all still great players and i'll miss you all. Wish the best to Brandon Sneed, Justin Whitaker, Eli Carlisle, Clay Head, Zach Byrns, and Jacob Geezley. Good luck to yall in the future and Distict 10-A want be the same without yall! Parker you pitched a great game tonight, can't say how much you made us work for a run.

Dave we just played horrible. Ok i take that back NCS played so good that it made us look horrible. I've never seen them hit the ball like that till last night and if they get to region and can hit the ball like that then they can beat Minor saying that Forrest doesn't kill the ball also then they have a great chance. Anthony pitched good. We should have had the 1st 3 outs of the game but the 1st guy popped out and we got him, the 2nd guy grounded up the middle, anthony tried to glove it and it redirected the ball and nick couldn't get the ball to 1st in time. If anthony would have left that ball alone then thats the 2nd out then the next ball was a ground ball to 3rd and we made an error. So they ended up scoring 5 in the 1st inning and we would have avoided all that with those 3 outs. If they wouldn't have scored 5 then i think it would have been a totally different game but things didnt' play out like that. So now we got Jo Byrns, hope its a good game. And Houston Co. hit the ball exceptional to last night so they are a good contender. But i hope we do send out best 2 representives to region so we can get a team in state. Hopefully we'll play tomorrow but if not we'll all be there Thursday ready to go. Good luck to all!

Who in our district has the best chance at Forrest and the Region MVP Minor. I know that it's far off but who else would beat him out for it. I'm just curioius what everyone else thinks. I would guess the best hitting team would have the best shot, but that's just my opnion. So I think either NCS or Jo Byrns, because they are the best hitting teams; who also happen to have pretty good pitching staffs.
How can you sit there and say that Jo Byrns is a great hitting team, come on they scored 3 runs against McEwen, but still good W for them. Good luck tonight Tuck vs. Houston Co. Hey Tuck keep that front foot in, u pulling out a little to soon, you'll rip the ball if you just stay in. Good luck tonight.

East Robertson Lady Indians would definately be one of my picks into the top 8. I haven't got to see them play but about 10 games this year but everytime i seen them play they just crush the ball and got solid pitching. They ended their regular season 30-4. Be looking out for East's softball team to make a run to state for the 2-3 years. Have 7-10 sophmores on the team and 5 start right now. So they are still going to be a challenge for whoever steps on the field with them in the future but especially this year. They open up district play on tomorrow. Good luck to all teams!

I know I am not from this district, but I personally think the East kid is giving all teams poster board material. I laugh b/c all of your posts have said you would finish at least third and now you have predicted you will beat CA. Not only that, but you talk trash by picking HC (see you in football) to lose. No offense but you're not very smart. Plus, your grammar is awful on all of your posts.

So yeah hope to see you in football, must be garbage if you always talking smack...but its baseball season right now and nobody cares bout football, and we would have finished 3rd if we would have beat CA on Monday but we lost by 1 so technically i was right if we would have won that game so get all your facts straight if you trying to bash someone.

#2 Jo Byrns vs. #7 McEwen

#1 NCS vs. #8 WH-Heritage (NCS-7, WH-Heritage-4)
NCS beating Heritage by no more than 3 but will be a great game and think Heritage can pull the upset. But if NCS brings their A game i have seen them bring before they could blowout Heritage.
#2 Jo Byrns vs. #7 McEwen (Jo Byrns-11, McEwen-1)
I think this will just be a blowout, but i think they will could 7 innings if McEwen brings their A game but i just don't see that happening against a great team in Jo Byrns.
#3 Houston Co. vs. #6 East Lit. (East LIt.-4, Houston Co.-3)
It will be a good game just because Houston Co. isn't that good of a hitting team and Teasley will pitch and probably shut down Houston Co. but if Houston Co. starts putting the ball in play then East Lit. will make errors and Houston Co. will win but if East Lit. hits and plays OK defence then they can pull the upset.
#4 CA vs. #5 East Robertson (East-7, CA-3)
Even though CA has already beat East twice (7-6, 9-8) i think this will be another game just like that. I think we have the potential to run-rule them but it just isn't going to be like that because CA is scratch and never give up team. I know Will Clinard and me will be pitching that game and i haven't seen a pitcher that they had they really could shut us down like all the other teams have at least 1 really good pitcher. They had 2 hits of Will last game but scored 5 runs off 4 errors. Should be a great one. I think this will be a good game just like the #3 vs. #4 game.

Yeah i agree with justin here...NCS has alot of good players but i don't think the best player in the district is on there team. Good to have you on here Teasley, now you can give us some insight on East Lit. You think you will pitch the 1st round game against...well it will be either Jo Byrns, Houston Co. or CA but nobody has told us who won the Houston Co.-CA game so we really don't know, but i know the coaches meeting is tomorrow and we will all know then who is matched against who.

Yeah it was a real good game, and to everyone that doubted jo byrns this year well you better forget about it, they might not have all the seniors they had a year ago but they are still a really solid ballteam...tuck hope it doesn't rain so we can have another good game this week and hope brooksher is ready to go for yall
