I appreciate it Tuck...we probably want play tomorrow anyway cause of rain but if we do then i'll make sure i pass that on to the rest of the team, i hope we can get back to winning way instead of losing cause it stinks really bad... Thats why i love you Dave cause you can always make some feel so bad that they just might quit baseball in general cause you made me feel like that several times but it just made me a better player i think, i love the way you put those words together so good...lol...u still coming up here next weekend or what?

Hold on Tuck i know Heritage, East Lit, and McEwen are having down year and not to good of a ball team but dont' put us down there yet, we going to come back strong on Friday and beat CA hopefully. Who does dude think he is talkin stuff like that? Well about CA tuck and mcdowell, what they got, i mean i know they got slow pitching and decent fielding but like hitting wise...i heard their 1-4 are really good but after that not to solid, give me some info cause we got to go in there on Friday and do the dang thing. Congrats on yall's big victory's tonight.

Anybody had any scrimmages or spring practice yet? How is everybody looking, forget Harpeth they are either going to be good or not, didn't have a good season last year and maybe they'll bounce back, nobody knows, just like nobody knew East Robertson would win the region last year with all the private school powerhouses...I know East has 6 seniors and 4 juniors playing baseball right now so they probably want make it to spring practice...6-8 that start, does anybody else have this problem or are yall trying to plan around baseball season??? Give me some input.

hahahahahahahahahah...Dude is talkin all this stuff when you still ain't telling us what team you play for???? Jo Byrns and NCS are really good teams and if you say they will see you in region must mean your in a sorry district yourself powerhouse guy...East Robertson and CA are going to be good by the end of the season to and i'm looking forward to a District 10-A team going to state this year, if everybody got their hens in one basket then 5 teams out of this district is going to be really strong by the end of the season...so u keep on running that little mouth of yours...and Dave we didn't play today cause Cheatham Co. called and said they didn't have any pitching so we resceduled it for Saturday...me and coffee is pitching against CA Friday night and Pitt and Alley is coming back on Saturday against Cheatham so yeah...we had a really good practice today, alot of bonding together as a team and i think we going to have it together by Friday so maybe we'll be back to OUR kind of ball...Good luck to the other 10-A teams, lets shut this Nuxx guy up, we know we can play ball so lets prove it, somebody update me on the NCS-McEwen game and Jo Byrns-East Lit game....

Yeah tell me about it, i had high expectations of contending for the district, its not over yet and i think once we get our heads screwed on straight then we'll be alright. Coach Roach put a little dicipline in us yesterday, after the game there was an hour of sun light left, he lined us up on the foul line and made us run 50 sprints, then 5 laps around the field, then put us at home plate and made us run around the bases around 10 times. So i think its the time when everybody is bout to wake up and see that we are getting embarrassed out there, and realize that is time to win some games. We going to get it going and thats for sure. Good luck with all the games being played in 10-A today.

I know Heritage is starting to turn their program around but right now they're still the bottom of the district and i just don't want to be down there with them. East is very young also, we only have 1 senior and only 4-5 players that have experiecne at the high school level, so when we get this going for us, everybody better look out because we can be a very dangerous team once we get everything going, but right now we ain't nothing yet. Hopefully we can get it going soon, we're in a really bad slump and just can't seem to get out of it. Good luck to Heritage, hope yall can get everything going yall's way to.

Dave i can't even tell you whats up with us cause i don't even know. I don't know if its experience, playing as a team, quiting to early in the game or what but we need to get it changed quick or we are going to be the Heritage of our district and thats not something i want to be a part of. NCS we just didn't show up, no sticks, they had a good pitcher, just a bad day....Sycamore, they were really good but we were winning 1-0 all the way to the 5th inning and then just feel apart and got run-ruled....Jo Byrns, they brought the sticks, didn't get any help from Defence, we didn't hit that well, and everybody just quit. Friendship Christian, Will shut them down, they had 11 runs on 3 hits, come on now 3 hits? you can't have all that if you want to be a winning team. I just don't know what wrong, but i'm not having any fun and i know nobody else is either, i think we will turn it around the question is only when????

You know what Dave you are exactly right I don't know what our problem is but we decide to come and play ball like we can when we want to then sometimes we just act like we don't want it at all. The other day at Sycamore we played them 1-1 the whole game till the 6th inning and i have never seen us play like that before, if we could just play like that all the time then we would just be fine and contend with NCS and Jo Byrns. Jo Byrns and NCS are both solid teams, they both hit the ball very well and got decent pitching. The umpire was really tight last night, but not just for one team, both team. The 1st inning started off, Parker Holman popped out but was not caught then the Brandon Sneed hit a 2-run homer after that. The next batter struck out then we had a fly ball to LF and it dropped right in front of the fielder, then we walked one, struck one out, then a line-drive brought in 2 runs, and they scored another one somewhere but i don't remember. Our at-bat of the 1st, Wilks struck out then me and Coffee both walked, then Clinard struck out, and Miller struck out. They scored 3 more runs in the 2nd and I got pulled and Pitt came in. From there we started playing decent Defence but still not enought sticks to get the job done. So thats pretty much the whole game, i stunk it up last night pitching even though both of there home runs would have been outs or doubles we still lost. You know we both have the oppurtunity to hit home runs to which Daniel L. did but still not enought to get us back in the game.

Your exactly right McDowel, if we play like we played yall we will lose to every team including Heritage and McEwen. But we are a much better ball team than that, not taking anything away from yall's team because are fundamently sound but we could have played yall much better. Tuck i look forward to tomorrow, it should be a dandy like you said, i'm really looking forward to it. I heard yall had a good weekend at the classic and i heard yall were playing good ball again and we had a not so good week except for our game against Heritage but it still wasn't that great. EAST ROBERTSON INDIANS 5-3

Whats that supposed to mean? You don't think we can do it? Cause we most definatley can and we will, the team NCS saw the other day wasn't the East Robertson team i have seen play my whole life. We are way better than that and can get the job done, everyone has off days and that definatley was ours. So whatever you mean by that comment, then if it means you think we can't do it then keep thinking that and we'll just see yall around.

so who's all playing this coming up week, i mean i know we play jo byrns and CA but who else is in action is district play? i found out this weekend that Houston Co. has improved a whole lot so nobody can overlook them, they have 3-4 really good hitter combined with 5 average or above average hitters so they are going to be tuff this year...has anybody played them yet, what did yall think?

ok ok...i'm giving mad props to nashiville christian they came in and just killed us today in every expect of the game...they had a really good pitcher and average hitting...east made 7 errors and only had 2 hits....to the nashville christian guys, we are way better than that, there was people that had bad days at school, things happening that just doesn't need to on game days and NCS showed us up way better than i have ever imagined, our guys just totally gave up after the 2nd inning...they have a really good team, but make sure yall know yall are going to see a different team next time, congrats NCS...now to the Jo Byrns game, whats up with all this? tell me this was just a fluke cause i never in my mind would have believed that CA would actually be a competitor in the district...somebody give me some info about the game, good pitcher, good "D" or what????

hey dave can you call me sometime cause i lost your #...accidently deleted it from phone, would like to call you...

i know exactly what your sayin cause last year i wasn't hitting at all and about half way through the year i bought a pair of batting gloves and i ended up hitting around .450 so i have not went a game without using them, i feel lost without them...the thing about batting lead-off is that you have to be patient and work the pitcher...so you can't always hit that 1st fastball right down the plate then you have to settle for those ok pitches...but yeah man hey yall keep it up and we'll try the same....

got a .319 right now but he's got me at lead-off but i got a .630 OBP so its all good... yeah i'd rather have my slump now than later

yeah i most definately stunk really bad yesterday, not really stunk but i popped up to left field my 1st at bat, then reached on an error my 2nd at bat, then on my 3rd at bat he threw at me and kinda got me shook up...so from then on out i was out on my front foot, just swinging at everything, by far prolly the worst game of my life, but i went to the cage, changed a few things and hopefully i will be back tomorrow against NCS...yeah hopefully we will be 5-1 when we play yall...good luck tomorrow vs. CA

Oh East Robertson and Jo Byrns one of the best rivals in Tennessee High School sports in my mind, we both hate each other in a deep way but both go for each other when we aren't playing each other...we all know each other and its going to be a battle...give me some input, how do you think this game will come out????

we really don't know what coach is going to do yet tomorrow, we really don't have an "ACE" on the team, we have 4 good pitchers that get the job done, and 2-3 good relievers to come in..so you'll prolly see a combo of pitchers...so who do yall have on the hill, how are yall doing so far besides the CA game???...good luck tomorrow we'll see yall around 4

yeah with anthony pitching we had C-Long 1B-Griffith/Wilks 2B-Kahn SS-Will (he did good yesterday, he had 2 balls hit to him and made both plays so yeah he's fine) 3B-Alley LF-Sneed CF-Hooper RF-Pitt...so thats what it is when coffee pitches, everything stays same when i pitch and anthony goes to center and when travis pitches i go to left and clayton to right, nick will move to short and prolly me or clayton to 2nd when will pitches but he hasn't yet so we really don't know what he is going to do when that happens...yeah i'll keep ya posted

anthony pitched yestderday and had a no hitter going into the 5th, a man got on by an error he walked 1 or 2 but other than that he pitched absoulutely amazing through 5-6 innings...he arm started to tire up i think but he kept with it and they only had 1 ER of the 2...so anthony came out yesterday and got the job done. Will hit a 2-run jack yesterday in only his 2nd at bat of the season, he to right center but it would have been well over dead center. john got his 1st at bat yesterday and got K'd but his head is right on the ball and he fouled of 2 or 3 pitches so john is going to be just fine, they got him at 1st base with dan switching out with him through the game...if any clarksville academy people see this, tell us whats up, do yall pick up an amazing pitcher or what, yall did have some pretty good atheletes last year so i was just wandering

east beat heritage 8-2 today...yes they are improved but still not where the need to be...they got alot of talent but just not using it to the full potential yet...but good luck to heritage the rest of the way, i think as yall keep improving yall are going to suprise some teams like yall did us today, we came in thinking run rule but yall proved us wrong and came in and played the full 7...and tuck...lol...i hope it comes up different than you predict or there will be some pretty mad guys at east..lol...we'll see ya monday, i think it will be me on the mound so hopefully i can bring it that day even though i know yall kill the fastball, i'm expecting my ERA to go up a lil bit but as long as we win i will be ok with yall...but good luck man and heritage yall keep improving...love ya dave...lol...

my fault tuck, i'll just quit saying anything and lose all confidence in my team...naw i don't think so...we should have beat yall last year in baseball and this year in football but we didn't bring our A game and yall did, thats the thing bout jo byrns, they play all with their heart and TOGETHER most of all...jo byrns is just like east, they have been playing together and they know each other as players very well...but yeah and to allcountypatriot, you need to calm down, if you think yall are really that good then yall come to east today and prove it, no more talkin from here, its time to state your place in the district today, if yall lose then everybody has the right to just call yall a red carpet for us to walk on but if yall win props to you and you get everyone's respect....good luck today and i look forward to playing yall...
