Although this is an old cliche, playoffs are a new season, and everyone goes into them undefeated. You have Mt. Juliet, Oakland, Blackman, Cookeville, Riverdale, Hendersonville, and a few others who come out of this bracket.

When you go undefeated in any league or district, you have to be good. Riverdale is a talented team, but I would not bet against Mt. Juliet.

First let us start off by saying following. If you want to be the man, you have to beat the man. Until someone beats Maryville, they are the undisputed champs. If I am Oakland, I have nothing to lose, so leave it on the field. If I am Blackman or a Blackman fan, I would keep my opinions to myself. Sometimes it is better to be humble when you have been annihilated.

Look the intent of the article in the Tennessean is so clear that even Stevie Wonder could see it. Aydelott is making excuses to help provide himself with a comfortable landing. Perhaps he will be going back to Metro. Aydelott does not create programs, he coaches teams. He does not develop players like other successful programs in 7AAA. Many of you should of known this from the get go. Calling Aydelott names does not make this situation better. Riverdale fans just be glad you will be rid of him after this year.

Aydelot is a top notch coach. Even with all the headaches and issues of coaching in metro, he won a state championship and was in the finals how many times? There is no way that is "choking"...thats called "coaching."

The Riverdale coaching staff will definately have this TEAM prepared.. they are not taking anyone lightly.. I'm not wondering it the WC posters are not playing down their team a little bc they wld not be in the playoffs if they were not a good team.. but the WARRIORS will be ready!! I can assure you that I have forgotten more football than you wil ever know. I wasn't a star, but I played for coach Dooley's Georgia Bulldogs in the mid-70's. As for the Warrior coaching staff, I really can only make observations on what I have seen, albeit one and half game in person, and others on video. Now for coach Aydelott, I have been pulling his chain because I had heard that he worked in Metro-Nashville where football is somewhat non-existent. Nothing personal, just "breaking b---s." Never said anything about any players, other than their technique (running around blocks) Your warrior fans need to chill, can't help it "I Believe in MY Dogs."

What is your ax to grind with the Riverdale coaches and players?
Did you try to coach at Riverdale? Did someone not hold you long
enough when you were in the crib? Were you not able to make it
as a coach? What exactly is your malfunction?
The only person who has choked is you. You not only sound like
a coward, but you are a moron for putting down coaches and players
who have won championships.

I tell you what "all knowing" if you think I am a coward, I will be more than willing to meet you in person. We will see if you are as brave in person as you are on here. I do not coach high school football, nor would I even consider it. I work in the private sector, but I have had played football in a big time college program. As for my observations about the Riverdale coaching staff, that is just what it is observations. So there, put this in your pipe and smoke it.

If for nothing else to let the High School kids know that even they set an example for somebody. It maybe just an elementary school kid, but we want them to grow up right also.
As to him coming to MTSU, I don't think Coach S needs that kind of problem with the program he is building. I know as an Alum I would not be inclined to give if he was there.

Don't be so sensitive. IF you truly think that your team is worthy of the number 1 ranking....well...let's just say good for you. You have a very limited team, and you will find this out like you did last year in the playoffs. I am not being critical, I am being observant. I promise you that I do know football. Truthfully I think you have a above average o-line, a good 1 technique on defense, but a very limited secondary. Your d-line mostly runs around blocks, especially #92. Your quaterback is a decent runner, and throws the long ball good, when he does throw, but you never attack the middle third of the field by passing the ball to backs or TE's. Now I know that I have only seen you play 1 game this year, but I have seen you on film. There doesn't appear to be any rhyme nor reason with your offensive play calling. Just an observation. Of course I am not criticizing any players, because I think it is a testimony to them that you are region champs.

yeah maybe they did..so what..the scores is what matters...and whos win was bigger over lavergne..oh yeah smyrnas we won by 2 yall won by 1 so both teams won for us..but lavgrne could have easily beat us both.....and they had their backup qb on yall

well, I have been hoping for weeks that someone could change the stupid title of this thread and correct the spelling. It is spelled FRAUD, which your spelling teacher must be one. Riverdale is not that impressive. They have been lucking up and holding on in a lot of games. Would have probably not beaten WC without a Rutherford County crew......3 riverdale grads called the game. Talk about home-cooking.......
BTW, this is not my first post, just first this year, but had to get a new account because I forgot my other one. Had promised to myself not to get involved this year, but can't take it anymore
