How could you not know Steve Boynton? He is awesome! He leads Blackman in every game they play. Steve is the shiznit!

What's up with Blackman this season? They just can't seem to get it together. It seems that the team has been plagued with problems from the onset of the season.

I promise it is because Steve isn't in there helping! The coach should give him a lot of time because he is awesome!

Personally I think it will be Steve. Because really, he is the heart of all the Rutherford County high school teams. He always wins in the end.

Oh, sorry. Is he going to play on a select team this year? If he is then please tell me. I think he should come play at Blackman next year. He has the potential to be a great player. Maybe Steve can show him some things about defense!

That's fine. It's a free country and we're all entitled to our opinions, but I've watched this kid play in high school for two seasons, select for four seasons. and indoor for four seasons. He's skilled, solid, consistent, and level-headed even under pressure, and I cannot count the number of times he's saved someone else's butt out there on the field. He has stopped the 'unstoppable' forewards on opposing teams over and over again. I think someone described him as not a showboat, but a real workhorse, and that's the kind of player a coach needs on his team.

Wow are you his girlfriend or just a big Riverdale fan? No I'm just kidding. Maybe I should start watching him more. I hope to see him play tomorrow. Good Luck to Riverdale!

I haven't seen many games statewide, but Cory Willis, Patrick Compton, and Austin Hayes would be my picks.

I'd have to disagree with you. The best defender in the county is Steve Boynton. He is the best of the best. If it wasn't for him, his team would lose every game. Cory Willis, Patrick Compton, and Austin Hayes are good but not as good as Steve.

Even though I'm on the Riverdale side, I can't help noticing the other teams like Blackman and Siegel. They have really worked hard this year and they deserve the win every time they play. Riverdale is strong but some people on the team need to run more and go for the ball. The best person on Riverdale's team is probably Matt Warren. He has improved so much this year!

I think I would have to disagree with you on the defense. Cory Willis is good but I don't think he should be chosen above some of the other defenders in Rutherford County.
