  1. First off,"wichitaks1980" , I would like to welcome you to "Coacht", with that said, I think your comments are TOTALLY out of line. It is one thing to single out a sports reporter, but simply not acceptable, in my opinon to single out a player. I am going to guess that you have never played the game or you would not have made such a remark about a very good football player, who is NO DOUBT one of the leaders on this football team. I have every reason to believe that this team relies on a proven warrior like Wilcher and feeds off him. Respect is earned not given out generously. I look forward to reading more of your posts, hopefully you will give them more thought next time.

Pioneers14.. I respect your post as well but i agree with wichita.. and I personally dont think YOU know what your talking about.. I dont know how to say this without making anyone mad but hes okay NOT great. I agree that everyone should be given credit on a win and no one singled out on a loss, after all WC did win without him WK 2 but with that said, GO PIONEERS

  2. It doesn't sound like Riverdale fans are being cocky, they all congratulate WC on the hard fought win. A truly cocky and arrogant fan would be making excuses for why they got beat. These posters seem to have a great deal of respect for WC and I don't see any cockiness anywhere.

    QUOTE(dubcfan @ Nov 9 2007 - 10:58 PM)

I'm with Riverdaleman...I think they just play down to their competition you challenge them one little bit and they flex their muscles.

...that sounds pretty cocky to me. They "thought" no one could play with them. Maybe they didn't feel challenged and thought they would "play down" to the competition again. The funny thing about being on your way down...you meet the same people you trampled on your way up. Keep on making excuses...

  3. IF, IF, IF. If WC was a better team they would not have had to face Riverdale in the first round. If they were a better team Riverdale would not have done what they have done all year and played down to the competition. This was a very ugly win for Riverdale. It had to be the worst they played all year and it had nothing to do with WC. The coaches will have to do a better job this week to get the boys more focused. This Riverdale team does not have the killer instinct of some of the past teams. We have to play a team next week that had no trouble at all getting up for their first round game. If this team wants the gold ball they better get their heads on straight and focus. Way too many penalties tonight and no heart until they had to.

Or...maybe your team is overrated and has been lucky to have all its wins this year. Maybe the competition has been playing down to you all season. I guess you will soon see. I can see why you would want to make excuses after what we all saw tonight.

  4. well..we escaped with another one...i was close on the score i said 27-0 and it was 28-7 we seem to play to the level of our competition we was flat again this week like we was last week hopefully from now on we will play WARRIOR style like we know how to do and like wee need to do if we are to achieve our goal of a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

    GO WARRIORS

You should give the guys from WC more credit... they stuck it to your so called "mighty" Warriors for 3 and a half quarters my friend. If WC has any kind of offense, this game may have played out differently.

  5. I agree, it won't be a blowout! It will be close, unless WC fumbles and does the same mistakes that have hurt them in previous losses. I agree about CO and Rich. You can tell when Rich has his head in the game and when he don't. If he starts dancing around on the field to the band, then look out! WC defintely has the talent just hope play calls don't shoot them in the foot! Hope WC finishes BIG!! GO PIONEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rich can be a mighty force when he wants to I agree. Offensively, gonna take more than CO or a fullback. Mix it up, be unpredictable. Skilled play calling can make a big difference. Play to win instead of playing not to lose. /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

  6. If warren County can control the ball with there run game without any fumbles they have a chance, Coffee took them out of there run game early, they do not have a good enough pass game to come from behind.

Tullahoma needs to come out passing and try to get the lead early. Warren will struggle to come from behind.

    Tullahoma by 7.

    Good luck to both.

Warren County better have a game plan this time. How many fumbles does it take before you make changes. Five fumbles + 2 interceptions = big trouble! Coffee scored 37 points on turnovers. Find somebody to hang onto the ball and players that can execute an offense and a game plan that can work. What they did in front of their massive crowd was unbelieveable. Coffee was ready, the Pioneers were not and it showed. The crowd can't win the games for them. We'll see Friday night.

  7. WC 4-0 WITH EVERY TEAM THEY HAVE PLAYED HAVING A LOSING RECORD FC 0-4 WC 0-4 SHEL. 1-3

CC ONLY LOSS IS TO A VERY GOOD OAKLAND TEAM AT OAKLAND AFTER TRAVERLING TWO NIGHTS TO SHELBEVILLE TO FINISH THAT GAME THE WEEK BEFORE. THEN BACK TO BACK WINS AGAINST A GOOD COOKVILLE TEAM AND A HATED RIVAL IN TULLAHOMA. AS LONG AS THE RAIDERS DON'T GET OVER CONFIDENT THEY WILL WIN. 35-21

The only opponent each team has shared was Shelbyville. Coffee won 43-42 in OT I heard and Warren won the next week in regulation time 35-14. For now that's about all you can compare with wins and losses. You might have more stock if they had more common opponents already on the books.

  8. I agree that CC is strong up front on both sides of the ball but after seeing WC against Franklin Co. I think they may be equally strong. Ask FC's QB about his introduction to WC's Mr. Qualls! /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

Qualls was outstanding in that game. He definitely stepped up. The Pioneers may show a better game than many on here will give them credit for. This group of juniors and seniors made up the middle school team that defeated CC 41-8 during game 6 and went on to have a 13-1 record that year.

  9. Yes and it will be an espn classic 1st team to score ha!Big fish i realize this and trust me on this one coffee will win just an opinion sorry it offfends you.

I'm not offended. Just wondered what game you were referring to. I thought Warren's coach showed a lot of class by not running up the score on your team and letting them all play.

  10. WCs First real game.If they show up it should be a very interesting football game.WCs s team is the best they have been in a few years .

    CC 28

    WC 21

WC has different players stepping up all the time...each game is not a repeat of the one before. They do have some skill players on offense, defense and special teams. I think heart, grit and determination will be the factors for the Pioneers. They will be the holders of their own destiny in this game. They have yet to show their true potential...maybe this will be the game.

Better get there early...their fans will be overflowing. The last game was standing room only. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  11. BIG QUESTION? Can Robbie Gonzalez keep his composure and not get tossed. WC fans still remember him getting tossed here two years ago. I hope it's a good clean hard hitting game. If it comes down to special teams I think Tony Garibaldi gives us the edge. So far the only common opponent we have is Shelbyville. My prediction

    Pioneers 24

    Raiders 21

Seems like I remember that. Didn't he kick a player in the head while the player was down?
