70's and the 90's......how long ago was that..........hmmm........pretty long time.....what does it mean now.......NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tradition.........what does it mean in a football game.....NOTHING!!!!!!!! how many of those players are suiting up this Friday.....NONE!!!!!!! Is the same coach coaching.....NO!!!!!!!!!! so what does your tradition matter to the outcome of the game......NOTHING!!!!!!!!! i go to one of the oldest colleges in the south and we used to play all of the current SEC teams and beat the snot out of em. what does that mean now......NOTHING!!!!! i am smart enough to know that we can't touch those teams now. so just because we beat them in the past doesn't mean we can beat them now. so what does tradition mean in a game again..........NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah. and i saw livingston and TC play in the state championship game and livingston would have DESTROYED TC if they played again. they had peaked at the right time. they weren't playing as a team when TC played them but at the end TC wouldn't have been able to touch them. if you saw TC play then watched Alcoa and Livingston play you would know that there was a HUGE difference between TC and the other two teams. TC wasn't even in their league.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!! you are a retard if i have ever seen one. if jb had 1000 students to draw from TC would be leaving the stadium in an ambulance. do you have any idea the athletes that would be within 1000 students. you have NO idea. i do. i've seen schools with 1000 students playing football. my cousin played for one and now he is starting in college ball at UAB and he never even started in HS. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! and i'm sorry my man but no class 1A school could hang with them. in fact the 1A kids would probably get hurt. in a school that big all the lineman would be over 280 pounds and be FAST just as quick as your smaller linemen. the rb would be over 180-200 pounds and run a 4.5 40 yard dash or quicker. it would be a massacre. they would be bigger, stronger, faster, better, and TC would have to go home with thier tail having been ripped off to bury their dead. HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

my mis-information has already been addressed or have you not read the other posts. oh and congrats on winning those gold balls in the past. how many of those players are playing now....none(besides 05 freshmen)....hmmm.......then what makes you think you will have the same results as those teams had. those players don't have a thing to do with now so your past trends mean nothing and hold no weight.

montgomery central has talent. i played for all the undefeated jb teams and we scrimmaged montgomery central every year adn whooped em. i never faced anyone there that wasn't good. not having a weight room is the number one reason for a lack of success. the second is coaching. if you have a great coach with college experience you get a great team. and with success come investment. jb started doing VERY well in 05 and this year they got new 60 thousand dollar bleachers. im now playing college ball and success not only breeds success but funding as well.

man i just saw where TC has 451 students enrolled. WOW! yall got us whooped on numbers. must be nice havin all those kids to draw from. i guess yall are the best 2A team in the 1A playoffs. congrats guys.

i can respect the grades you give, but no team has a perfect 100 on anything. has trousdale scored every kickoff. no. well that means they don't have a 100. this is my grade. Offense JB-75 TC-75 (neither team seem to be able to score at will against great defenses so no score higher than 75 to either) Defense JB-90 TC-91 (TC has probably played better offenses and still performed so ill give them a little edge here) Special Teams JB-70 TC-90 (JB got a great kickoff and punt squad but can't kick the EP. im not hearing bout the 50 tds TC has scored on special teams this year, so ill give at MOST an 90. unless you score consistently on special teams you don't get any higher. a good kicker helped out TC's score here)

yes i did! and i was good friends with him too! he is doing well from what i hear. then i will eat my crow like the good little dog that I am.

and be cocky like TC and people will beg for you to get knocked off. jo byrns fans talking to yall like this is your own doing. go read the post for the jb vs. mckenzie game. there is no disrespect there at all. every last bit of it has an amazing amount of respect between the two teams and there is no bashing at all. if TC as a whole wasn't "JB won't score a single point" then maybe some of the jb fans would show you a little respect. because the fact is that it is a very slim possibility that this will be a shut out. respect another team and they will respect you. plain and simple.

okay. five golds in 1A and 1 in 2A. well. TC isn't the bes team in the state regardless of classification. i was getting confused. it is certain that they are very, very good though. i was just under the impression that they were nationally ranked year in and year out. my bad.

i thought that setterfield was still coaching. he was when i was playing just 2 years ago. also saban inherited a loosing tradition and now is number one in the country. that is coaching. nothing else. even if satterfield isn't coaching. without a good coach tc wouldn't be here and neither would jb. and playing college football has to do with physical ability. nothing else. but you have to play for a good team to get recognition.

HA! tradition has nothing to do with success. coaching and talent does. with out satterfield tc wouldn't be here. plain and simple. if all the tc players were at a school with a horrible coach they would be at home now wishin they were playin. take your tradition elsewhere man. jb got their tradition startin in 05. went from 2-8 to 13-1 and three years later they in the boro. tc is successfull because of their coach.
