Who came out on top from the East?
-
Navery pitched the game that clinched the regular season, the Region Tournament starts on Monday

Goodpasture 10 BGA 1 I noticed that Adkins was on the bump for Goodpasture and I have never heard of the kid that was pitching for BGA. Who is BGA playing this week that they could not throw one of their top 5 pitchers?
We're playing Ensworth this week.
Thanks to everyone who came out last night. I know we made a few thousand dollars to send overseas and it is much appreciated.

This should be a fun time for all while also supporting a wonderful organization. We should all tip our caps to both Battle Ground Academy and Goodpasture for standing behind the United States of America and our troops.
What pitchers are scheduled to take the bump? Will Atkins, Isaacs, Moore, etc... throw seeing that is a non league game?
I'm not sure who is going for us. Navery came in for the save last night at BA so I don't think he'll be able to go.

BGA will be hosting Goodpasture in the 2nd annual "Salute The Troops" night this coming Friday, the 25th, starting at 7:00.
A $5 dollar donation will be collected at the gate, and all proceeds will be sent to Tim Ledman and his troops, who are currently stationed in Afghanistan.
Anyone who would like to come out and see a good game as well as support our troops is encouraged to come out.

It's good to hear that Moore is doing well and only threw 25 pitches. Why did Brad not throw him 140+ pitches like he did England & Isaacs? Let's hope that they don't have arm problems with the number of pitches they are ask to throw each game.
Isaacs threw around 70 and England 120. Try not to exaggerate so much.

Farragut won their third (semi-final) game 11-0 against Charlotte (NC) Christian on Wednesday.
BGA is also in the tournament.. their results:
Won 20-9 in 5 vs. Battlefield (VA)
Won 10-0 in 5 vs. Rock Canyon (CO)
Won 17-9 vs. Springdae (AK) Har-Ber
BGA plays Farragut in the finals Thursday night

Final: BGA 2, Baylor 1
Very poor officiating, unfortunately, including a flagrant penalty in the box that wasn't called, and another that was called but probably shouldn't have been. You hate to see it end this way.
haha... wow

Do you really feel that BGA will take the risk and pitch Navery Moore in high school next season? Oh I seem to forget that this is the same BGA program that throws pitchers 125+ pitches during games.
Not sure what you're talking about there. Navery was in the last inning of the game when he got hurt, not sure how many pitches were thrown, but I can assure you Coach Myers knows everything that is going on and will protect his players. Saying different is just ignorant.

I don't know much about Kimball
Do you play for CBHS or am I thinking of someone else? If so when are yall coming over this way?
-
So State is set then.
I know BGA plays CBHS on Tuesday.... should be a pretty good game.
-
Forsythe is a great player as well. Logan couldn't say enough about him when they played together on Team Tennesse in Omaha this past summer.
-
I understand its your opinion but.... you're wrong. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Ryan wins the region tonight with a 4-3 win over host BGA. Congratulations.
State is set from the middle region:
1. Ryan
2. BGA
3. BA

Johnnie? No he is down at Auburn taking classes and helping their team.
-
Is ECS doing that well this year? All I've heard form the west is CBHS and MUS then Park got heard hurt and didn't hear much from MUS. I was surprised to hear they didn't make it.
-
Isaacs is something like 18-3 over his three year career. He has lost only one region game, against BA earlier this year.
Adleman is a good pick at first
I didn't know Pogue played many games at 3rd... the only time we saw him there was this last Tuesday
