SH had better be more disciplined at CC than they are at home. You even fart on the line and you'll get a unsportsman like. Usually just when CC needs it. Blocks in the back, face masks, late hits, etc... like last week and SH loses. If they play a clean game SH will win. And I hope they do in a big way!!!!!

Huge win for the Pats. I think they are starting to learn what Patriot FB is all about. Lots of acolades to go around in this game. I liked the call to start off the game by passing. Good calls to go for it on forth downs. Fake punt, about time!!! Mcfall really stepped up on defense to make some good plays and once again the D line shut'em down when it really mattered. Brooks looked like a pack mule sometimes carrying all those SH players down field. I liked the start of the fourth when Brooks got the ball and was stopped for a short gain, the refs would'nt blow the whistle, Brooks shook both SH players off to ground on their backs shaking one up and Brooks never goes down, justs walks away. Radio annoucer chuckled on that one. O line looking better each game, starting to build some confidence. Yeary snatched victory from the jaws of defeat with the take away. What a play!!!! Gibson way to stay in the game dude.

Now for some observations: What was up with getting plays in to the game a few times??? Looked like the holder and kicker were to close to the line on PAT and FG which may have been the problem with misses. The refs where there to let them play, trash talk, fight or go WWE if they wanted too. They really didn't through the flags that often. Why does this team come out so flat in the first quarter???? If they could play all four quarters like they played the last 2, man o man. That must be a motvation issue that only the players can take care of cause surely the coaches are doing their part. Yeary, Long, Steele, Mcfall and Brooks need to get these guys fired up before the game. Next week is has a lot riding on it.

Good job Patriots!!! Defense really took a stand several key moments in the game. Glad to see Townsend get a hit for a loss. And Stewart got a couple of big plays too. O Line needs to keep working on their blocking on some plays. Just a little more passing would have been nice. Brooks, McFall and Long all had TDs and FG by Gibson #3? I understand that Gut wants to let the JV team play some cause of their hard work during the week but....I think he put them in way to early in the game. Just like last week it was 3 and out with no yards gained and on the second time no yards gained and a fumble, just like last week. Their not ready for prime time just yet against a 1st string D. Hopefully he'll wait till there is less time on the clock to put the JV in. I agree on us having capable people but if we even try to rely on Stepp our season's over friday. Watching the games so far this year it looks like Tyler Stepp has no clue where he is on the field. I think if we should rely on anyone in our passing game we should rely on Frank, he's proved himself way more than Stepp and as for refining the passing game I think that should start with a new quarterback. That's kind of harsh to say but we can't make it off Longs arm. We've seen what that can do, just ask DB.

BTW, I`m not sure if you can ever share the ball too much, and just pounding McFall has done nothing more than get him hurt the last two years. McFall is not a Ricky Upton/Jeff Jennings type of back that you can just pound the ball with 20-30 times a game for the whole season. McFall is a better change of pace scat back than an every down back IMO, a lot like what Scoot was for us back in the day. After enough doses of power, a speed back can just tear a defense apart because they aren`t prepared for it.

All the Patriots need to do is rely on the legs of McFall. I think we are focusing too much on sharing the ball than on what works for us. I believe Long needs to step up more than anyone out there if we want to have a throwing game and if not let McFall do the rest of the work, like he has been doing the past two years.

We tried that the last 2 years. It was called the "I" formation and you see where that got us. The veer is the way to with 2 backs and a throwing game. In case you haven't noticed the other teams have Mcfalls' number most of the time anyway and are expecting him to get it. Also we have the top 2 out of three leading rushers in the region. T Works-Bearden 600, McFall-JC 500+ and Brooks- JC 500+Sounds to me like its working pretty darn good! Just need to work on the passing game a little more.

I am one of the TRUE BLUE PATRIOT FANS and I suppotr them win or lose. I probably haven't missed probably more than 15 games both home or away since 1983. You might think I don't have a life but I see a Highschool football game every week of the season , incl every week of the playoffs to murfreesboro.

Its true!! Was on the cell phone with someone while they were walking through and describing it to me. Buster just finished painting the press box right before the first game. I'm sure he's pised.

Just found out that someone has broke in the JC Patriots stadium and spray painted obsentities of a fighting cocke (figure it out for yourself) all over the score board, press box, and consession stand. Sounds like there is gonna be an butt wooping tonight.
