  1. 2P I no your going to be at this one.... We'll be in Paris for them other Pats, that are going to finally wrap up 4A this year. Good luck this Friday.

    Over course I voted for your Pats /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

I might not understand your post, but by the look of it, you seem to think that the Oakland Smyrna game is this friday.

  2. It sound like Smyrna should not even get on the bus.

They seem to have no shot. Do they deserve to share the same air of a Murfreesboro shoool?

I'm sure both teams are hungry and want this game. A turnover or big play will turn it one way or the other.

    Now that you mention it....No. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

Just kidding of course. I personally believe it will be a good, close game. I can't wait.

  3. What happened to see-gull? I guess he looked up the score from last year, and knew he couldn't reply to what I said.

There is also the possibility that he didn't feel the need to respond to your post. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  4. Apologize? You guys are misinterpretting me.

I recognize this day as a national tragedy day (I think Bush called it Freedom Day?). But you gotta remember, there are ton of national tragedies in American history - December 7th 1941, April 14 1865. Kennedy and MLKjr. To not respect those would be selfish as well, wouldnt it? People face even greater tragedies, such as the ones brought on by this event (i.e. families who have lost their relatives in the war int he Middle East, or deaths period). To recognize ONE event and ignore others is quite selfish. I AM IN NO WAY demissing 9/11 - I am sad for what happened that day and sypmhasize for those who lost loved ones. Why do I say it shouldnt be in a football forum? This is just not the place where a nation can pay their respects to what happened. Think of other peolples with tragedies of their own. Maybe they dont wanna think about it, dont wanna remember it - they shouldnt be reminded of it on a high school football forum. So, to summarize, I was also affected by 9/11, but coacht is no place for a topic like this, which will get buried under new topics in the coming week.

Thats my opinion. I wont apologize for it. I have not offended anyone who was personally affected by 9/11, but rather stood up for a larger group - people who deal with other tragedies. If you think that is offensive in anyway, then I am sorry you feel that way.

This is a place where the members of this board can collectively remember 9/11 together. You seem to be the only one so far to think otherwise. My tip to you is to stop posting on this topic. You have added no thoughtful insight and have only angered members of this board. You don't like it, we get it, move on. Again I would like to send out my thoughts in prayers for those affected by the events of 9/11.

  5. On 9/11 you still wish to keep things separated, and not acknowledge 9/11 on a football forum? How selfish can you be?! That is how you have shown disrespect, by trying to be a smart alec, you belittled the anniversary of a national tragedy. Is that at the right intelligence level, or should I dumb it down even more for you?

  6. i will be in lexington on saturday, wearing blue as a matter of fact /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

    GO BLUE RAIDERS

If you had said this a week ago, I would have told you to enjoy the loss. Now I don't know. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

  7. here guy.

    1.cocky?·y (kk)

    adj. cocky?·i?·er, ######?·i?·est

    Overly self-assertive or self-confident.

    2.cocky

    Adjective

[cockier, cockiest] excessively proud of oneself

The main word here is overly. I don't mind a confident team, I think that's how all teams should feel. But overly confident(cocky) is annoying.

  8. Running up the score only shows lack of class in my book. Completely uncalled for in all sports. It doesn't matter what team does it. Do unto others is my saying when it comes to this subject. The one exception is if UK ever gets in the position to run up the score on UT in football. Wouldn't mind getting even for the past 25 years or so. /tongue.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

  9. Still no word on Marcus Booker. But I will say this if he does for some reason get eligible it will be a long night for the Pats. But I think the Antioch is more realistic for Booker to play in. Reguardless Friday night night will be a night that will be remembered in the hearts of all Wolverine fan for eternity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "The Throw Down in L-Town"

You were correct about that, "The Beat Down in L-Town" should be remembered by all Wolverine fans. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

  10. Smyrna fans are not really expecting the same show this year that they have had the past 2 years are they? Schools have down years. Due to either lack of good coaching or lack of talent( in this case you can take your pick). My advice to Smyrna fans is just keep supporting your team and when the sun shines(take back to back state titles for example) savor it and enjoy it and realize all good things must come to an end eventually. I think the Smyrna fans should accept the fact that its going to be a couple of down years here. Just keep supporting the team.

  11. NO health issues

I personally have not heard he has health issues either. However I can't rule it out either. In my opinion the whole situation has been played out to it's fullest and it is what it is. I don't think much more will surface. I've been wrong in the past though.

  12. dont be fooled..............oakland wanted to prove a point against riverdale and they did.....now i believe that they diversify their playbook more in the upcoming games to not be so predictable....but what makes anyone believe they cant just run over everyone like riverdale used to do

That's why they play the game. Nothing is for sure in high school football. I expect most people would agree. I'm looking forward to watching a good game tonight and I wish CC good luck tonight. Hopefully I'll see some of you there.
