Know several players on that team. They all play for the Lobos team that is the third best team in TN. If Williamson county and the private schools didn't dilute the talent across 10 schools Houston would lose 10/10 times they played. Good for them though.
Wow. I guess those Willy county schools had other plans for this week? Looks like all of the LOBOS teams are advancing at Regionals
00/99 - Finals 01 - Playing in Semis 02 Playing in Semis 03 - Playing in Semis.

SO . what your basically saying is, the best club girls in all of Williamson county could beat one high school in the west....I'm comfortable with that
Congratulations Houston for being named the #1 Team in the US
-
Well . Congratulations to TSC19. They have been playing together for 10 plus years, they should be good.
On the other hand, High school, well, at least Houston, doesn't play with a senior squad. Multiple players on that team are underclassman. So, that sort of lets the air out of your Club post again.
The reality here is that Wolff can (1) get the most out of any player but more importantly, get 11-15 players to function more like a team than any other high school team. That is one of the primary reasons for his success. Yes, he has great talent, so does Briarcrest, SGIS, and Collierville. He just gets them to play as a team quicker.
And what a coincidence, Memphis has multiple players who played for the US National Team....we must live in the same country.

So, let me get this straight. You are sharing that People who play for the Lobos which contain players from several counties including several in Mississippi move to Shelby County and specifically the Houston school district to just play for one high school.
And that the People who live in Williamson and surrounding counties who play for some club there, choose to live in difference school districts.
Is it me or does it seem more like there are greater chances than the players in the latter example are trying to create a SuperClub situation rather than those players in the first example who don't uproot their families and move into a costly real estate area just for their son or daughter to play high school soccer for one school ( which based on my understanding has very little to do with college recruitment).
I think you may have things #### backwards my friend. If that was the case, Houston would be the only team makigng the trip to Murfreesboro, and if you look at the final. it was an all west final..and SGIS was also state champ.
You may also wish to consider that Briarcrest, Collierville ECS and SGIS seem to have state run teams as well, so, I'm thinking there are other programs that dilute the West's teams as well.
Then again, you also need to realize Houston is not a senior heavy team and has each class year represented, which also dilutes your hypothesis.
Prep Soccer is Prep Soccer. Club Soccer is Club Soccer. It is difficult to draw comparison, Very much like a Fantasy
Again. Congrats Houston and Collierville and SGIS and Briarcrest on your seasons.
We can't all win state champions,
but you can:
1. Dilute the "State Champion" buy creating 6 different ones
2. critique the system when your school doesn't win

By the way, this isn't the club site.

You create drama where there is none. Its odd. I made a statement that is factual about the dilution of talent in Williamson county . I also congratulated Houston for their achievements and commented on the kids I know at Houston including the player in the photograph. Why you started all the hyperbole is beyond me? Its just silly to do it but its clearly your MO. Neither of us likes, or respects, the other but all this drama is really unnecessary and juvenile.
Im done trying to discuss anything with you because you take everything to an extreme every time I post. Your first reply to a post if mine was just as immature as this last one. Feel free to get your last jabs in.

What fine college would you be driven t see? Perhaps we will run into 'nother

Seems like Dragons were hating on that Mid-Level wishing team.
Regarding your stats, they look good until you consider who the Irish played, then all those state finishes in the third rung of talent....
Just saying'

so there is a sport with young kids involved that it would b OK to humiliate them like that
Booger just sayin
Yep...its called basketball

One must not count ND in on the party yet
Booger just sayin
I would never invite ND to any party

This new rule messes with the integrity of the game and should be removed. I would understand if FIFA added something like this and NFHS followed, but I don't ever see FIFA changing rules like this. I would love to know why this rule was added, maybe I just don't see a benefit that is there.
Side note, I saw a retweet from Nashville United Soccer Academy on Christine Lillys view on Club vs High School and thought you all might enjoy.
Because we live in Tennessee...any other questions?

What was that Notre dame score Friday night?

BigG...I just sent you a link to some photos,,,,thought you may enjoy

Look at these last two posts. It's like 1988 all over again. Catholics vs. Convicts. (If the reference escapes you, just let me know.)
Seriously....with a tag like Moondog...circa 1950?

Wow,,,,I signed in and saw Booger and posting with class on the same line...I had to rub my eyes...then a saw the words "Notre Dame" and I really got nauseous.
So will Houston run the table again this year or may Collierville be the dark horse? All in all, it looks like another lesson from the west
-
You obviously can't read because the 4 teams listed didn't play Houston, ECS, or Briarcrest.
Your right. I am sorry I cannot keep up with all the divisions they have created to generate charity state championships
-
Seems like the same teams in the East are shining again.
Greeneville
Chattanooga Christian
Christian Academy of Knoxville
Knoxville Catholic
Do you think any of these are shaky this year?
You guys are obviously well into the Moonshine. You nearly were swept yesterday
HOUSTON ECS & BRIARCREST........or do you mean east Memphis?
-
Your mind should be. Mine is on seeing my good friends at the game and supporting their daughters and my daughters teammates should they make it.
It actually was just a little pumping for my friends daughters. All the teams are capable of winning it and should be congratulated for their great seasons.
That's just the sound on swords clashing. Boo-yah! That's why we play the game on the field

Yawn.....yet another west state champ
4-0 Booger? Ouch

Nice try....There are 4 Public schools within a couple miles of one another. Houston, Germantown, Collierville and Southwind. In addition, there is Briarcrest & St George's private between them and they are also diluted by St Agnes, St Mary's and Chirstian Brothers on the boys side.
Could easily have been 6-0 Houston.
