  1. When Adeylot left with his sorry crybaby coaches many on coach t complained. It appears that gettin rid of them was a wise thing for the buro. Things aint so sweet where all them scattered too but they cant go back now. /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

  2. If he was so good why did he leave Hillsboro when their was a head coach opening?

Not to share any light on your rumors or confirmation of such but the correct spelling is Herzog. 2006 was Coach Richard Herzog first season at Ravenwood serving as the defensive secondary coach. Coach Herzog has spent 22 years on the high school and collegiate level football. Before Ravenwood, he served for 8 years as the defensive coordinator for Hillsboro High School. Coach Herzog came to Ravenwood when Coach Ayedelott went to Riverdale in 2006. If it is Coach Herzog, you couldn’t ask for a better coach and person. He knows a lot of coaches and assistant’s in Tennessee. I’m sure he can put together a top-notch productive staff.

  3. The old coaching staff would have been watching the game at home. They couldn't get the Burros to an undefeated season all the way up to the state championship. Winning the state championship is great, but getting rid of has been loser coaches is priceless.

Coach X, a decent coach would be happy for his former players.

Congratulations from Fulton to Maryville on continued domination of 4A. We love to see Knox area do what they do best! You all are impressive, I only wish we got to play you all during the season ;-p

Again Congratulations to Alcoa, Fulton, and Maryville for establishing dynasties in their respected classes!

  4. How come this aint made the paper?

as of tomorrow at 0:00 in the 4th quarter, greg gregory will no longer be the head coach of centennial high school football...

he sat the team down in the locker room today after pratice, and told them he had been fired, and tomorrows game will his last a their coach.

exact details: why, and who will replace him are still unknown....

this has been a long time coming, so thank God for finally answering our prayers.

im extremly interested to see how the players act on the field tomorrow!!!

  5. Hey Stan...sticks and stones brother. Lighten up. How come you dint offer your name before calling everyone else to out himself.

Myth: that I am a Mod.

I have not been a moderator for over a year.

I asked Coach T to remove me from the position.

Two reasons: one, I would "remove" every thread

that bashed a coach; and two, I wanted to say what

I wanted to say in a post.

It became obvious what I thought was bashing was not

considered bashing by Coach T and other Mods. I didn't

like the temptation of being able to remove a thread, so

I removed myself from the position. These are not my

board, nor is this my website. Unless I’m asked to leave,

    I will voice my opinion.

Anyone who goes on and on, thread after thread bashing a

coach is a coward. Some of these cowards are in this thread

    justifying/rationalizing their yellow streaks.

If you are too thin-skinned to handle being called a

coward, then you can obviously dish it out, but not

    take it.

Imagine how a coach feels who has to hear about some

crackpot posting on Coach T about him. People know who

the coach is, but they don’t know who you crackpots are.

If you are not a coward, then POST YOUR NAME the next

time you bash a coach. Prove that I am wrong.

If you want to talk to a coach, post your name and phone number,

and ask the coach to give you a call. If you don’t want to talk to

    him, then what are you?

  6. Always whining, crying and thinking everyone is out to get him and constantly trying to draw attention to himself. From the entrance of his 12 person entourage/assistant coaches/recruiters to his last second individual entrance to the two time outs in the first minute to his constant badgering of officials and sideline tirades. The TSSAA even changed the rule about time outs because of him taking the bench chairs out to the half-court line during the state tournament for no other reason than to draw attention to himself. Doc is an excellent coach and prepares his kids as well as anyone I know. Unfortunately, that is overshadowed by the Barnum and Bailey act he puts on. And before you start in about "how many gold balls" yadda, yadda yadda let me remind you that there are plenty of coaches with way more gold balls than he who always acted with dignity and class. Explanation given.

    Thorough explanation.

  7. Okay, here;s one for the rumour mill.......

Have heard this morning from 2 Indy parents that the Eagles starting QB will not play tonight due to a disciplinary issue (no biggie--something about a cheeseburger in the lunchroom yesterday---swear!)

    Truth or cacca de toro?

    VI

P.S.--I am NOT trynig to stir anything up...would like to squash if just a rumour. If not, makes my picks for the week a little weaker.....

It was in paper today. Is that a school rule at IHS that football players get punished twice.

  8. Speaking of assistant coaches who thinks they good enough to be head coach-Is Herzog the reason Ravenwood is doing so bad and is Gore the reason Brentwood ain't winning? It seems everything these guys touch turns to garbage. The players at Hillsboro are real glad those coaches left. Now they all get to touch the ball a concept Adelott dont know nothing about.

    :thumb: Hadnt thought of that!

  9. Lost Dad you aint talking to everyone. As far as Hillsboro goes once he and his loser assistants (who cant get a HC job) left a whole lot more guys joined the team. Adyelot "cares" about kids as long as he can use them.

With a whole new offense and defense, coaches, and more kids Hillsboro remains undefeated. We cant say that for Riverdale. Who did he hurt at Hillsboro..the kids you think he cares about.

  10. THE ONLY CRITISISM OF COACH A IS COMING FROM SOME BENCH WARMER FROM HILLSBORO! (tgif-football)

TELL ME OF ANOTHER OFFENSE WHERE SO MANY KIDS GET TO CONTRIBUTE ?

tgif-football YOU BETTER HOPE BLADE TAKES THE BORO'S TO THE BLUE CROSS BOWL, WITH ALL THAT TALLENT, COACH A SURE COULD'VE !

Try rereading the previous posts. Plenty of people know what he actually is...be glad you don't know.

  11. I will finish by saying that Coach A wins with class and the respect of the majority of his players. He has won over most of them and seems to realize they want and need discipline. They are believing in his system. I think you will see these players coached by A being able to complete 4 yrs of college ball w/o antics or any major crimes. I am finished with this topic as most know where I stand on the Rankin wars.

I don't think he has the respect of most of his players. He didnt at Hillsboro. They were tired of being used by him and are finally getting to play true ball. Coach A has antics of his own that are shameful to the sport of football. Class and respect? If he's got it now (which I dont think he do) its only because yall dont know how bad he is yet.

  12. Last year Tullahoma beat Hillsboro.

    This year Hillsboro beat Tullahoma.

The coaching of the Tullahoma game last year was terrible.

It dont take an Einstein to figure out what the difference is between last year and this year.

The Burros are going all the way this year, and the old coaches can watch the Blu Cross Bowl from their ez chairs at home.
