There have been many great, hard-fought Soddy-Daisy/Hixson matches. A lot of the girls grow up together, play club ball together, and are good friends. But that friendship never seems to stifle their desire to win. Best friends off the field, best of opponents on the field. A great rivalry. The new classification structure caused us to schedule some new opponents. Hopefully SD/Hixson can be scheduled again soon.

One of our parents takes pictures for us and we think she does a great job. Her pictures are posted on the PICTURE link on our website (www.thehgs.com). But, I know you asked for one picture that we felt was "special". The following link should pull up our selection. It does not show the fast-paced, ball-flying action we all love, but instead, the compassion of one of our Captains for a fallen teammate. (the injury was not serious and she has returned to play). We feel it shows a nice/softer side of an often hotly contested sport.
