I agree with most of what you have said. Ridgeway will have to pressure quarterback. I do question the two starting RB's being solid receivers out of the backfield. Have they proven that? How big is Ridgeway D line? I have faith that the receivers will step up but we'll have to wait and see. Passing was not our strength last year. Game situation does make a diference in catching. If receivers catch passes it will open up the RB's. There is plenty of depth there too. I would like to see passing most of game but dont' know about the 4th quarter.

Before Gaddis came to HC the fan support was going down the drain and that had to have an impact on our players. Pride is back and this team believes it can go all the way and they know they will take JCM at Patriot Stadium OCT. 13. JCM in your words is better than HC, so gauging our performances against a team that makes repeat trips to the state championships is logical. With all the talent and speed JCM pocessed, along with Borner, you think you would have killed us last year. HC will win a close game Friday against Ridgeway, HC BEATS JCM OCT. 13th!

The positive momentum is that HC , according to you and others, should not even have been playing Melrose, and we not only made it further than we were supposed to, but we played them closer than JCM did!!!

It would be great if businesses would put words of encouragement on their signs. I have been disappointed in that the last couple of years. The fans support local business and I know the businesses support HC athletics but the kids really get pumped when they see BIG RED on signs. Maybe some of the HC posters on here can get businesses to do that. This is done in many other areas we travel to. I know our community is just as strong as these other towns. Lets SHOW it.

Thanks prophet for getting back to the topic. Know one answered my previous questions. How many returning starters from last year does Ridgeway have? OL, DL ,quarterback? I believe the 12th man in the stands will make the final difference in this game. Any Ridgeway fans out there? GO BIG RED!!!!!

"Athletes" struggling to find their identity? One would think that pure athleticism would carry them to victory. Does anyone know how many returning starters Ridgeway has? I know their running back is returning. What about quarterback, OL and DL? I know we will have our hands full, but Patriot Stadium will be full. Faithful fans will demand a loud crowd!!!! The 12th man may make the difference.

I hope that you keep that opinion. It will serve us well when you come to Patriot Stadium! I love being the underdog. After we beat Ridgeway Friday, I have a feeling we won't be able to keep the underdog thing going.

Freshman team last year was undefeated. There will be a few more of them, I believe, to contribute this year. HC has plenty of depth. As the season goes on more players will be stepping up!

When was the last time you saw HC play? What do you think their strengths and weaknesses are? Are you going by what you hear or what you have seen? As for starting out with a win versus a loss, I believe we will win. If we slip up Friday and lose it will not affect our season because we have coaches who will prepare our boys mentally as well as physically for the next game. It is not a region game.

HC players were in great shape. I think that made a big difference. D was swarming! Guys didn't look tired at all. I think if our guys don't cramp up we'll take it to Ridgeway. Cramps hurt us last year against them.
