1. id say that white house and station camp need to win a couple more region games before either is given the crown..... don't count out teams like Sycamore, Dekalb, and Greenbriar to pull some upsets during the second half of the season in region play. i look for all teams in this region to fair well in the playoffs, especially in the early rounds like history of late has proven

  2. Take it from a former player of Coach Patterson. He is a molder of young men. there is no man i would rather play for. from his knowledge of the great game of football to his unbeatable competitiveness to his fatherly-like persona, coach pat is the right guy for the job. saying thank you is the right responce. the community of hickman should consider themselves lucky to have such a coach.

    Thanks Coach.

  3. HHSnumber1fan, I understand your point about let the play talk for itself but the point is that we who are STILL at Harpeth are pumped about our chances this year. We excpect to beat all our rivals, in county and out. I wish we could play creekwood in football and ad them to the list of rivals we beat next year. we are excited about the region next year. we have the talent to go far in 2a and we know we will so what is wrong with warning the rest of the teams to get ready for a whippin? GO TRIBE!!!!!

Stop! no way are you beating Sycamore this year or prob even Cheatham Co.

  4. thanks for the insight, even though i dont agree with the last sentence of your post. cheatham has always been the team to try and run it down your throat. where sycamore has ussually had the athelets such as garza, lohin exc...(except when you were a war eagle!)

  5. QUOTE(WVUmoney09 @ Mar 24 2007 - 05:44 PM) 826421679I will start off by stating that I bleed BLUE and GOLD!!! Now I will say sycamore lost alot of talent and leadership but they had room to lose some talent and they have guys who will take over and be able to lead. Sycamore is back on track now and in the weight room now with guys throwing weight around. I think coach halstead had to buy more weights. The same guys are PHYSICAL. I think the war eagles can blow up big this year and put sycamore on the map.... somewhere near murfreesboro. And I heard the other day that winning is contagious and right now, in the town of pleasantview, everyones sick!!!!!!!!! /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

you are exactly right in all of that post we apprieciate the team recognition but dont expect it. i anticipate to be picked around third in the region by everyone. and thats fine. but just know we WILL be a team to be reckoned with.

  6. wow i am kind of amazed, you think a good time for a sophmore is SUB 50.00! i have been to alot of track meets in my life mostly because my mom is a high school track coach, but i myself am a sophmore and i run right at a 54.00 400 and have not seen anyone my age run that time. just wondering who you have seen do this. and is 54 for a sophmore possible to come down to a 49- 51. or were all the sub 50 guys already running way better when they were sophmores?

  7. Simms is leaving Eagleville bc I heard he got in an argument with a coach and they benched him?? Someone verify if that reason is true. He is transferring back to Sycamore and will be the backup for the rest of this year and maybe able to play if TSSAA allows him.

He did not leave becouse of the coach/team. Family situation.

  8. So Chapel Hill scheduled us for their Homecoming game?...Interesting........When I was in school many, many years ago, the Homecoming game was typically scheduled against weak competition since no one wanted to lose the Homecoming game. Has that tradition changed or did the Rockets not expect much of a challenge from the CHAMPIONS??? At any rate, this should be one huge game with regional implications. Two undefeated teams near mid-season........doesn't get any better than that!!

The CHAMPIONS have beaten their first three opponents by a combined score of

116-17 with 7 of the opponents points coming against third team freshman. We beat a normally solid squad (Huntland) 34-0 with reserves playing entire fourth quarter. I'm curious to see how our kids look against a quality team like Chapel Hill. Anyone not busy Friday night may want to check this game out, should be a good one!

    GO CHAMPS!!!

    CASCADE-24

    Forrest- 13

I think this game goes to Forrest. They have several athletes and the ability to score quickly. I do believe cascade has a big defense and could slow them down (maybe). In the end Forrest by 10. Challenge for the Champions???

  9. Thursday Night at Siegel High School is the first of two meetings of what has become one of the storied rivalries in VB in the BORO. First there is Oakland, where current Siegel Head Coach, Coach Paulk/Slaughter coached before coming to Siegel when it opened four years ago. Oakland, while starting slow this year, always has an interest in Volleyball but as happens in 7AAA, has more of an interest in beating Siegel, the school down the street. Records mean nothing in 7AAA. With four large schools in the BORO and premier cheering sections waiting for the chance just to compete, Siegel is just waiting for a return match to gain something from losing at football a week ago.

Oakland's seniors get their last chance to go against the STARS at Siegel where they have had a hard time winning the past few years. The Stars Seniors, Carrie Parrot, Casie Luna , Andrea Stockard, and Danielle Harris realize as well as the Seniors in the student body that extending the winning record would be especially satisfying. These are two good teams and the volleyball will be great with three matches being played, the Freshman Stars having a very good Season, The Junior Varsity Stars who are also playing very well and The Varsity Stars, a State Tournament participant last year and losing only two regular season matches this year to

Brentwood High School and Independence High School, two very highly rated schools in the State.

This is a real chance to see two very good teams play a very good brand of Volleyball and renew the rivalry that is a hallmark of these two schools. It is very likely that the Nation of both schools will provide the Cheering Leadership to try to bring the Schools records to a win.

    spike

  10. U are a joke, i watched u #50 and ur not even very good. Ya u made like 2 good plays, but nothing for u to be on here talking about. U guys have a good team, quit saying we arent giving u guys credit. We knew yall were good, but excuse us for not saying were gonna lose, cuz we knew we wouldnt. Quit gettin on here and making excuses, i talked to some JBHS players after the game, and they said u guys talked more crap than any team they had ever played. That is classless, especially when ur down 17-0 and still talking crap. U guys need to stop worrying about talking crap, and start worrying about playing the game. I'm sure alot of teams will talk crap to JBHS this year, w/ them being the defending CHAMPS, but come on show some class. I can gurantee that Heritage, Forrest, CA, NCS, and basically every team left on JBHS's schedule has more class then u guys showed last night. Not saying yall dont have class, just that u didnt show it at all last night.

W/ that said I think u guys are a lock for the playoffs, but i dont know what seed yet, because every team in this region looks to be very good. Good luck to Eagleville the rest of the season!

By the way, the guy didnt mean u guys expected our QB to be out, but u guys did see him missed the last 2 drives in the first half due to a mild concussion, and probably geared more up for the run because we had a running QB take his place. That is not making excuses at all, but u guys did blitz alot, and JBHS didnt attempt very many passes in the second half at all!

Who the heck are u getting on this web site telling highschool football players that they're not good and that there classless! seems pretty immature for a grown man

some people say players should not post on this site but i say people like u trying to relive their high school days should just giveit up and live your own life and stop putting guys down for them sayin somthin about your little footballplayers ;)
