  1. thats it deputy dog, throw all your weight around
  2. I would say that that is a good guess, seeing how I wouldn't know of anyone else around here that would be pulling for Coalfield other than him. Haven't seen or heard from him in a while. I guess he is on the basketball threads now!!!
  3. We also beat those same Region 1 teams. I am not talking Region dominance, I am talking team dominance. the same Region 2 teams that you all have beaten, we dominated. Make no bones about it, We are pretty darn good.
  4. 363 more posts to go and as the song goes "the freaks come out at night" I am sure that we will surpass our goal
  5. You dominated no one in your own Region. I have told you and others, there is no standout tema in Region 2 and so far we HAVE DOMINATED Region 2, and I don't see anything changing after tomorrow night.
  6. It's about darn time. I have tried to keep up with this mess all day. It's wore me out.
  7. As I have stated before, Coalfiel has not played anyone. End of story. There is no way that you can know for sure how strong or weak they are. You haven't played anyone. Tell me one team that you all have played that was a good win.
  8. PEOPLE CAME FROM ALL AROUND TO SE A FIGHT IN HAMPTON TOWN WHEN THEY ARRIVED IT WAS PLAIN TO SEE A MIGHTY BATTLE BETWEEN DOGS AND BEE'S THE BEE'S WERE FIERCE THE DOGS WERE MEAN AS TOUGH A BATTLE I'VE NEVER SEEN THE DOGS WOULD BITE THE BEES'S WOULD STING FIGHTING FOR SOMETHING THEY'ED NEVER SEEN AN OLD GOLD BALL WAS IN THEIR DREAMS THE BATTLE WAS OVER THEY TOOK A KNEE RESPECT WAS WON BY ALL THAT SEEN THE DOGS HAD WON THE BEE'S HAD QUIT A BATTLE THAT WE WILL NEVER FORGET remeber this pujo, just found it in last years thread
  9. Fromlistening to them I found out some pretty interesting news; 1). Brandon Davis has a hip pointer?????????? You guys should be ashamed, you should have told us about this. 2). Hampton's linemen are slow. that is almost so funny that I couldn't even type it. Let Davis run at Roop and if he avoids him, we have got great ends and backers that will do a superb job in containing him. Someone asked earlier in this thread (about 20 pages ago ) the stats on Townsend from last years game. Can someone tell me the stats on Davis from last year? Just wondering, I can't remember for some reason.
  10. who are those 2 guys, and is this a live feed or a taped version. they were talking about Tennessee when i went to it.
  11. 442 more posts to go, but i sure wish that we were talking another subject, maybe even about the game. Who cares who is playing? Just line 11 up in front of our 11 and we will see who wins!!!!!
  12. Not sure which film you seen, but the big #75 was nothing. All he did the whole game and I mean every down every play was hold. And I am not talking about the holding that is normally done, I am talking about tackling defense guys going in to the backfield. You may want to look at that film again. Roop did just fine.
  13. From what we were told, the stand aren't that big. But they will more than welcome to sit with us.
  14. 528 more posts to go to beat the record we set last year. We gotta get busy. I'd say tonight ought to be a busy night on here. :justwrestle:
  15. Juat as confident as ole cameraman. Would I be stupid in saying that I didn't think Hampton would win? Just like you would be stupid for saying Coalfield wasn't going to win. It's not overconfidnece, its pride.
  16. Where is hamptonshortdog and GotSpeed? They are killing me, and this thread. I have done my part today, someone else is going to have to take over.
  17. that ride won't stink near as bad this year, sounds like they have got a chartered bus heading that way. I know that "we all" know who is going to the next round, I just don't think that "you all" are ready to accept it yet. Just kidding. I think it will be a great game (and a short ride home)
  18. I love this research stuff: stick with me here, Coalfield 12-0. out of that 12-0, 2 teams were 0-10, 3 were 1-9. Coalfield has beat 5 teams that made the playoffs and that is counting Midway twice. Coalfields opponents have a combined record of 37-85. Correct me on any of this if I am wrong. Hampton is 11-1. out of that 11-1, we beat 1 team that was 0-10, out of the rest of the teams, 11 won 2 or more games. Hampton has beat 7 playoff teams, one of them being a 4A team and we lost to 4A playoff team of Johnson County by 3 points. Hampton opponents have a combined record of 54-74. One of our wins came against Cosby, who at the time was ranked in the state higher than us, and this was 7 games into the season, so it wasn't like it was the first of second game after the rankings came out. To me, that is quite a bit of difference. But you know what, it all means nothing now. Anythig can happen in high school football, ask Dobyns Bennett.
  19. NOw that is beating around the bush. I will more specific, Who did Coalfield beat that was 1. ranked in state. 2. played in higher class and made playoffs? That all I want to know.
  20. he had a 34 (I think) yard run. Harriman had 36 yards for the entire night. that's pretty shut down to me.
  21. It is quite nice up here, and you are more than welcome to "transfer" if you can get it all legalized. Tell me one thing, name 1, just 1, quality win Coalfield ahs had this year.
  22. Goins is tough, but what could he have done against Hampton that they didn't do. Hampton defense stuffed the run. He could have thrown maybe a little better than the reciever they had in there, but he too had a little success hitting targets across the middle. See, you don't understand tht Hampton can stop the run. Period. And as far as the pass defense, we bend and haven't come too close to breaking. We keep everything in front of us. The score may have been different against Harriman, but Hampton would have still scored often and maybe harriman could have eeked out 1 or 2 more scores. But who knows? Hampton scored quick, not many long drives that I remember. All in all, this will be a very good game, but I still favor Hampton and will argue that with anyone.
  23. My answer to that is that Hampton held Oneida to 2 points, thanks to us, and Harriman to 7. So honestly, no I don't think they were as good as everyone was touting them. I will say it again, Region 2 teams are all close, with no standout. The only reason Coalfield is the "standout" is because they came away with some very narrow margin games with those 3 teams. Is Coalfield good? You betcha! But not 3rd ranked in the state.
  24. You obviously don't know much about football, 26 is a very common high school score, especially with Hampton. Extra points tend to get a little shaky sometimes, but I think we have the kinks worked out,
