Seems like thats the question we all should be asking you now isn't it? /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

  2. QUOTE(molesniper @ Mar 28 2007 - 03:52 AM) 826423820i bet they will creat a position if they hire outside the school funny how they work with numbers in haimpton.cheaters never win and winners never cheat.........................................

    WE BEAT YOU................... /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

  3. And I hope Hampton fans didn't think I was saying they were no good, that was far from the truth. I just though FCS had a better team, top to bottom, and it showed. I don't think we have seen the last of Hampton or FCS

Thanks for the compliments. Our fans and team appreciate it. You guys (region 3and 4) are the guys to beat. I think everyone knows that. You have consistently shown it year after year. Our region is going through a metamorphisis right now. I hope we all can compete with you guys and this year, maybe our regions will bring the gold home. Once again, good luck to all of you, and hopefully we will see you after Thanksgiving.....

  4. Yeah i wouldn't have said that... unless all hampton fans are on the baseball board or something this will probobly start a nice little fun argument.

You'll not get an argument from me , although I would say that you dont know the outcome of a game until its played. Anyway, FCS had an awesome team. We couldn't do much, but our guys played their hearts out. We have to work extremely hard to compete with you guys. I think our kids know that, hopefully they will answer the challenge. Good luck to all region 3 and 4 teams this year.

  5. sniff sniff and so are the days of our lives.give everyone a hug and lets lift,ha ha ha ha ha ha ha .....................................you got to want it.

Oh we want it and you'll see what I"m talkin about. I'm not gonna brag, fight , argue , namecall, or lower myself down to your level. If you can't keep it civil, it just shows how small you are. My son works very hard, as do many countless others on our team as well as ALL the teams in this area. I wish all our teams good luck. I bleed blue and white and always will. My point, dont be childish, be a man. Talk about positives, dont just get on here and act like a punk.

  6. I just want to say that there are alot of the team hitting the weights and working hard. We have a lot of hard work ahead, but we are up to the challenge and hope to have an excellent year. Dustin Jaynes, Dustin Millhorn, Logan Andrews, Mario P. and several more are setting the tone to do what it takes to get to the next level. I'm not making any predictions, but I can guarantee that we will be tough to handle. I just want to say to all the guys, "keep working your butts off, It will make a huge difference during the season. Get everyone involved because just a few cant do it alone. As a team we can do great things. I'm already proud of you for the work you have already begun."

  7. QUOTE(dukefanatic @ Feb 12 2007 - 10:55 AM) 826367600

In the boys I predict it will be Harriman against Livesay, with Harriman winning it all.

On the girls side Oakdale vs. Oliver Springs (a rematch of the Hollis Eble Championship from earlier this year, Oakdale won by about 7). I believe OS will pull this one out.

I predict the Hampton Bulldogs in a close win over Harriman. Does anyone have any info on Harrimans season so far?

  8. Ask Tank, or anyone else that knows me. If I'm there, I'm FIRED UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I wouldn't miss this one for the world!

You know, I've never sat down at a Hampton football game. Hadn't really thought about it until last week. I'm up and down the fence, shouting, trying to keep those guys fired up. I just miss being in the game. You'd think after 18 years it would get easier to just go and watch. I'd trade almost everything I own to put the pads back on one more time and BUST SOMEBODY IN THE MOUTH!

Been 18 years or more for me too 25's Bro! The fire never dies! Would give anything to be in myself. These guys are playing for all of us, everybody who ever strapped on gear and played the greatest game ever for the best team ever! I for one will be hollerin my head off, pulling for these guys to make history! Good luck Dogs, lets go to state!

  9. Look you guys run your flaps for well over 7/8ths of this thread. Sportiemom opened her mouth about academics, stuck her foot in it, and it now will take someone as big as the Hampton line to get it out.

Keep running your mouths, that is fine. Just when you open yourself up, expect to get it back.

I have kept quiet about what this Coalfield team can do and just sat back and watched. Then you crossed the line of false accusations, innuendo (implying something that didn't happen for some of you who may not have a large vocabulary ), would not believe the administration of the Coalfield School and Morgan Co. Schools in general. I defended both which is MY JOB. Gossiping about a family matter involving a kid is over the line also as Dalefan stated. Finally, you have the nerve to get mad at me for defending something that should have never been brought up in the first place. You boys are really all right; but man you need a clue about a few things, Coalfield and Coach K are above reproach, the program is excellent, and the Community supports this school in all areas. The academics are excellent and on target as required. The Sports program can go up against any other program of its size.

So enjoy your trip to Coalfield tonight, you will be treated with integrity, dignity, respect, and accommodations. Enjoy the game, I know I will, win or lose.

    :P

You keep quiet...lol impossible!!! Your arrogant little liners about Hampton, its people and its surroundings doesn't qualify you to sit on your high horse and then say your taking the high road on this. By the way, Hampton High School was and is a Blue Ribbon Award winner in academics. So we also know a little about the 3 R's ourself. We may not be all professional people like yourself, but we do know what we are talking about. Can't wait to see you tonight my friend. So defend your school, it's your job. Kicking your schools butt will be ours. :P

  10. Those academics seem to be out the window with you s-mom. It is their, not there. Sorry when you get on academics, you might want to brush up at least on the spellings of simple words. Oh, and I think it is ACCEPTED as in received. Not excepted as excluded.

Have a good day and enjoy your trip to Coalfield, not Colefield as one of those other highly educated Hamptonites has written.

Keep running that flap CY, we're gonna shut it tonight. :thumb::lol:

  11. If the T$$AA had not change the rules on classification from 2 Years to 4 Years, Hampton and Cosby would moved up to 2A. Listed below is the enrollment at the end of 2006.

    398 and under is 1A

    Cloudland 218

Grace 250 (Grace has only 139 and must be multipied by 1.8)

    Unaka 348

    Jellico 353

    Cosby 411

    Hampton 443

    Harriman has 301

North Greene has 400, only over by 2

And your point is? If we and Cosby were in 2A your team would have made the playoffs? B) Get real, it is what it is. Quit crying and accept it. If we have to go to 2A we will, nobody can stop it. We know Alcoa is the team to beat in 2A. You compete in what class your in at the time. If and when we go, and I say if and when, we will play like we always have, its tougher in 2A, but that doesnt change your team or your goal.

  12. Your guys lack of respect and overconfidence will come back to haunt you one day. Yes, we are coming to play ball Thursday, not roll over for Hampton or anyone else. And one day the shoe will be back on the other foot like it was for so many years. ;)

First of all thats the pot calling the kettle black my friend. You have had an utter lack of respect for everyone on here. Second, its not overconfidence , its just the plain facts. Look at our records, you'll see why we are confident, not overconfident. The main thing you have to learn is some humbleness, and some respect. You get what you give on here and in life. :thumb:

  13. 2 things I have a problem with on your post. 1.) Saying Cloudland is down is being too sympathetic. they are farther than down. Losses to Jellico and Grace Christian are devastating to a once powerhouse. Their issues are many, and I beleive they should start at the top and do some housecleaning. 2.) Hampton is not finding ways to win. They have flat out pulled it together. J.C. said it best in the paper" this is football, when you drive down the field like that" It is football of Hampton past, and J.C. loves it. not saying that with Adam he didn't love it. But Adam is a once in a lifetime back. We are now pounding it with many backs and throwing it better than any other Hampton team in the past. Cloudland will not even be a bump in the road for us. Look for big #'s. I would really love to beat the living crap out of them for the way they treated us against Trousdale Co. that just wasn' t right. So, hold on cloudland, its gonna get ugly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumb:

Well I was trying to be kind, I know you are exactly right on the Trousdale thing, I totally agree. And dont get me wrong, I think we are doing an excellent job of winning and dominating. When, I said we are finding ways to win, I didn't mean we were struggling, I meant we have had roadblocks, but have risen to the challenge to find different ways to achieve victory. Many people are pulling it together and answering the challenge to play the way we should. Its a total team thing and that is what is so admirable about this. We are finding ways to win. They are many. Thanks for your comments.

  14. We would like to thank everyone for all the prayers and gifts. It has helped Adam and us so much. Adam is doing great and keep on praying for him. And lets not forget about all the other football players that is hurt and injured. Again thanks so much and Go Dogs!

Big dog, you have an amazing son, you and Jennifer have done an excellent job intstilling pride, heart, and soul into this young man. He has inspired so many and will continue to do that all of his life. He is humble, hard working and very down to earth. I can only hope when my son comes up next year, he will try to attain that kind of work ethic and desire to be the best he can be. Good luck and a speedy recovery to Adam. And Adam, thanks for all the oohs and ahhs and wows that you have made everyone say and thanks in advance for all the ones you will make them say again. Your truly and outstanding young man.

  15. This Thursday , the rivalry between Hampton and Cloudland continues. Cloudland is down since their season has been less than stellar. Hampton continues to chug along finding ways to win. I think this game might be a little better than most might think. Cloudland has nothing to lose, the Dogs, bragging rights for being the county champion. This is the last chance for the Dogs to tune up before the real season begins. My message to the Dogs is "It's showtime, lets get fired up and lets start making it count, give your best every play, every second, don't let up. Keep the intensity. Keep the fire. That's what will carry you to success in this game and the playoffs. Play like its the last time you ever will. This is your chance to make memories that will last forever. Go Dogs!"

  16. Yes we have a date with Hampton come week ten. None of the Cloudland boys are intimidated by Hampton. They have a decent team this year and I don't hold that against them, but I think it is time for a new champion to emerge and represent this region. I hope Cosby can do it. Get'm Eagles!

No you don't want a new champion to emerge, who are you trying to kid? You know it won't be Cloudland and you don't want it to be us. That's ok though, we know how you are and what you're about. I have no ill will against Cloudland. I wish them the best, and if we can't win, I would pull for them. Best of luck to Cloudland. Go get em landers, and to my beloved dogs, dominate!!

  17. Right, not going to say that Cloudland didn't have good teams with Lunsford but say his name in the wrong croud in Roan Mtn and it may not be a pretty site. Point I am trying to make is sometimes like if I was a coach and was going to leave a school that I had been coaching at for years then I would try to go into a different Region of move up to 2,3,4A just to keep old friends and players and not hurt any feelings.

Coach Lunsford did leave us once. He left, but he came back to us. When he was at Cloudland, I wanted to beat him so bad (our team, I had already left by then.)

The only thing that I know is Cloudland had success before him, but when he came, he brought it to a new level, and if flowed all the way through youth club football. He is a great coach, regardless of where he is. I didn't hold a grudge and I dont think anyone would that really thinks about it. He is a respectable man, and a passionate coach. We are better because he is here. The kids will tell you that. And as far as the King goes, You have a right to your opinion, everyone does, but I think its sorry that you can't find it in yourself to pull for us. It's your choice, but remember, we have a date with Cloudland coming up, so just keep on posting!! And i have a riddle for you guys , when is a trip thats 5 to 10 minutes longer than one that is an hour and a half. Give up? Tonight, when the home team goes to their cars and starts home!! Go Dogs!

  18. First of all Fall, there was not one Unaka Ranger on here saying that they were going to beat Hampton. All anyone was saying was that they were improved. Three of your touchdowns were at the helm of an inexperienced QB that fed the ball to your players. Second of all, the reason that Hampton looks better is because they are supposed to be a 2A school not a 1A school. The truth is the truth. If you want to brag then play in 2A where you are supposed to be and beat those teams.

Why does this have to get to this? First of all, if you check the TSSAA numbers, we do belong in A. Second, after a two year period the TSSAA checks the numbers and if a school is less than 20% plus or minus in the numbers, they stay the same classification. Check it. Its on the TSSAA website. We were supposed to stay in it and we will till they say otherwise. NEXT, The truth is a few years back if you remember, a certain coach wanted to play at "your" level and canceled our yearly game when we were in AA. Now that we are back in A, you have to play us. If you want to get better, you play better teams, you dont go play 8 man football. Take your loss like we take ours and try to get better. The classification crap is sour grapes.
