Hey, don't go pickin on the "Fonz" now. Seriously, our boys are on a roll. It's HOMECOMING and the team is Eagleville. A Warrior never forgets. If you know about the history here, you understand. Our guys are looking past no one. Numbers on paper are pointless when these two teams step out on the field. Our team is playing together as a team. They respect one another for what they bring to the game. And they are also good friends. There is no jealousy....only a desire to get the job done. Under the FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS on the home field, our boys will get the job done! GO WARRIORS!!

No kiddin. Our guys are really playing together as a team. Like I said before, our guys know there is "No "I" in TEAM". They are working hard every day, and it shows. Keep up the hard work guys.

McEwen will dominate this game on both sides of the ball this is their homecoming and they are playing good defence and pounding the ball.But the biggest reason is they have not forgot the eagles running the score up three years ago this game is still circled on the calender every year and the eagles are 0-2 since

I second that LOUD AND CLEAR. I am never sure about the score. I certainly would not have predicted the score from last night. WAY TO GO WARRIORS!!!! This is our homecoming Friday night and you better believe our guys are looking past no one. They know what needs to happen and they plan on taking care of business. And as far as the Boxman's post, all I can say is "We'll have to watch and see." My bet is our guys will stop the passing game....maybe not on every play, but they will get the job done. GO BIG RED!!

I haven't seen Forrest this year but Mcewen has three running backs with speed and one that weighs over 230 and runs a 4.7 they have a very talented line and after some struggles early very good pass coverage they stuff the run and force the qb to throw before hes ready(almost every play since Larry Don moved back to end) I hope it is a good game becouse its a long drive.If Forrest does what MTC did and keys on ET every play they will get burned by the other two

Make the drive....it will be worth it. Our guys are ready. They understand what this game means. As far as score predictions....I never do that. To everyone reading...make the drive. I believe you will get your money's worth. Our Mactown boys will make us proud. GO BIG RED!!!!

You can't be serious. I talked to a WHH parent today and they told me "We are just trying to get through the rest of this season. We are wanting for it to all be over soon." No disrespect intended here, I am just telling you what was told to me.

Excuse me. Hopefully that will be 5-2 and 4-2 for McEwen after Friday night. Go Rockets!!

I know I know. What happened to you Friday night did your team eat their Wheaties or what? I heard that y'all played a good game. Did you just run them to death or did they have a lot of mistakes because it just doesn't seem that you played the same team that we did? McEwen must be peaking at the best time

I think you hit it right on the head with that last statement. I told one of our players tonight that I am so impressed with the team pulling together every game. We do have a great running back, but he is not "the team". I am saying what I know he would say as well. It takes every guy on that field to do their part and clear him a path to get him in the end zone. Is he TOUGH? You are darn right he is tough. He is one of the toughest and exciting players I have ever watched. But what I love is the fact that even when he was hurt for part of a game a few weeks ago, our guys stepped up to the plate. We had 3 players with over 100 yards rushing that night. This last Friday night we had a Freshman who led in tackles (I think around 14) for the night. When someone who the team normally depends on to make the plays is injured, our guys have consistently stepped up to the plate and said, "Okay, I have to take my game up a notch and carry this team." I am so proud of every one of our players. I feel they are really coming to understand the old statement, "There is no "I" in "TEAM". GO BIG RED!!!!

How bout those Mactown boys!!!!!! I'm not going to talk a lot of smack, because frankly, I think it is pointless. Our boys simply went to work on the opening kick off and did not let up. What a great job! They have really come together as a team. Everyone on the field makes plays. To be very honest, I was hoping for a win, but thought it would be within a few points. The final 33-0 is more than I would have ever imagined. Our boys did not care that even the most faithful Warrior fans may have had some doubts. The reason is because THEY knew what needed to be done, and THEY knew they were going to get the job done. And get it done they did. Guys, I love you all and am so very proud to be a Mactown girl. Way to go BIG RED!!!!

I SAW MCEWEN AGAINST HERITAGE AND I WAS IMPRESSED. I SAW MTCS AGAINST JBS AND I WAS IMPRESSED. I THOUGHT MTCS DID A GOOD DEFENSIVE JOB AND WERE SURPRISINGLY PHYSICAL. NO DOUBT MTCS IS THE MOST IMPROVED TEAM IN THE REGION. MCEWEN WILL COME OUT AND BE PHYSICAL AND STAY PHYSICAL. MCEWEN DOES NOT PUT ANY WIMPS ON THE FIELD.

 

MTCS, HOWEVER, IS THE BETTER BALL CLUB AND ARE PHYSICAL, AS WELL. BOTH TEAMS WILL HAVE SOME SORE PLAYERS THIS WEEKEND.

No sir, no wimps allowed on our field tonight. Our boys take a lickin and keep on tickin. If we play our best ballgame tonight, I believe we can take this one. I have told several people this week that if they have not seen us play a game this season, they will get their money's worth if they show up tonight. I know our guys are pumped. I agree with you there will certainly be some sore bodies tomorrow. I have the icy hot ready, so go get em son. GO BIG RED!!

Weather at kickoff is supposed to be clear and just above 60?° -- should be a great night! What type of pre-game dining choices are available in McEwen?

DQ, Subway, two pizza places, Stagecoach Rest....those are the main places to eat. We also will have burgers, hotdogs, etc. at the concession stand. It should be a great game. GO WARRIORS!!

It's pretty obvious you are Coach Shadowen's daughter. This poster hasn't said or done anything to offend your family. I think they were only attempting a bit of humor with that name. I think you should try and not be so defensive when it comes to your family.

If a person doesn't get defensive when it comes to their family, what does that say about them? I would do the very same thing and be pretty ticked off about someone trying to come off as some one they are not. I applaud this person for their post.

I may look like death friday but I planning on being there. I have two big old boy's to carry me If needed. The boss told the boy's last night that they were going to have to do something with me. I'm driving her crazy...................

Great. I look forward to seeing you. I think you will see a great game. Looks like C11 has given them the run down on what to expect from us. But you and I both know the Warriors are known to give a little surprise here and there. Our guys will be ready to play. The one sacking the QB will be my son. I have to tell you that I wasn't so sure about you when I read the post on another thread about "Women only being good for one thing.....to make more men" (or something like that). But now that you are on board with us Mactown folks, I can see that you probably didn't mean it quite the way it sounded.....am I right? I know one thing, you are an awfully brave soul. Ha! This will in no way be an easy win for either team. This really is going to be a good one to watch. I know our guys understand the implications of winning this game. I will yell really loud for ya Tex. I'm still walking the line every game. I just can't stand still. I get almost sick to my stomach at some of the games. I know that Friday will be one of them. Well...I don't really know who to root for. We need everyone to lose to help us make a rookie playoff appearance. I have to work again Friday, and get off at 6 as I did last week. Thanks C11. All I know about any team this year is what I hear due to not being able to get out see them play. The Boy's In Mactown is my high school team and I will tell anyone that . And as long as I have a child they will never hear me say anything bad about the school. Even if I have to eat CROW for 10 weeks in roll .........................

Thank you! This guy obviously has not done his homework. And just to note about our defense....I believe WHH did not score on us until a few minutes left in the game. And I don't think the first string was in at the time. Just thought I would clear up a few misconceptions about our defense.

Very enjoyable game tonight. The kicker from CA was more than impressive, especially on the FG from the McEwen 36 in the 2nd half.

 

Hopefully #33 isn't hurt too bad. I couldn't believe he went back in the game before the 1st half was over. I'm guessing it wasn't too serious.

No, not too serious, probably just a strained muscle. I asked him if he is "just that tough, or just crazy". I believe his reply was "a little of both". He's tough. And yes, I even clapped for that field goal. I couldn't believe my eyes.
