  1. in my opinion the last game between Farragut and WB probly wouldnt have been as close without the over 200 yards in penalties. ill say Farragut 28 WB 10.

Do you mean the 75% of those yards that went for Farragut?? Somehow I don't see Farragut winning by 2 and a half TDs, but I guess it could happen...I think this game will be an all out war until the end...and I don't have to work so I get to go see it!

  2. I just want to say that this was an amazing game to watch! Excellent playing and drive by both teams, but in the end I think that DBs two missed FGs cost them the game...but yeah, I look forward to the weeks to come...especially some well-needed revenge... >:thumb:

BTW...DB has an excellent band...I'm not really into the band, but their show was amazing...

  3. as long as we beat bradley and heritage *laughs* we will be playing DB...that's not much to look forward to, but it's still anyone's game out there...we've beat DB before, we can do it again...they have another great team this year, and we have the best we've had in a while except for the few close games (which always seem to be determined on the last drive >_<) which could have gone either way...if we can just get over this tough and unexpected loss tonight we can compete with DB...we beat SC who only lost last week by what, 3 points? I know SC has gotten a lot better since the beginning of the season though and it would have been tough if we had to play them like last year...I don't know...I still have faith though...

  4. I like WB's band performance this year...it's a salute to America and at one point of the show, the flag corps re-enacts the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima...really cool IMO especially with the movie coming out this year...

OR also has a great show...

  5. This is how I've been looking at this game:

    McMinn v. Ooltewah: 14-24

    WB v. Ooltewah: 24-28

    McMinn v. Farragut: 18-34

    WB v. Farragut: 16-17

    McMinn v. Oak Ridge: 31-30

    WB v. Oak Ridge: 21-13

    McMinn v. Soddy Daisy: 21-9

    WB v. Soddy Daisy: 38-0

Combined McMinn v. Region Opponents: 84-97

Combined WB v. Region Opponents: 99-51

My prediction for WB v. McMinn: 28-14

  6. This was a great game by both teams...excellent effort of OR defense holding WB scoreless until about 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter...then 3 drives give the Govs 21 points to put them in a position to win. IMO, the OR defense just got plain tired at the end and momentum was too high to stop the govs. Again...great game by both teams!

  7. beeing a player of wb as much as this loss hurt all of us i honeslty dont think we are going to lose another game we tasted our first lost and no one is going to let it happen again

And your fans are right behind you all the way....this is a very special year for WB and I really believe we can win the rest of our games....it will probably be one of the most difficult goals to achieve, but yes, it is possible, and we'll be there to back you up to make sure it happens...

  8. Another thing about the refs...I think these are the sames ones they use for the middle school games in that area as well...last year I went to a game between Carpenters Middle and Ocoee...the refs there were about equal to the ones at tonights game...except the middle school ones didn't know how to stop the clock...speaking of which, on the last play of the game, did the receiver go out of bounds after catching the ball? if he did, there should have been at least another 4 seconds on the clock...
