  1. I'd say it's because when WB went up to Farragut to play we lost by 1 point in OT in a game where we weren't doing well at all...
  2. I don't know about that...either team should have a pretty difficult game against either Farragut or WB...
  3. I'll agree that WB was having a pretty bad night that night...we couldn't put together any kind of offense, but our D was pretty solid...I'm pretty hopeful that our defense will be working this time around though...
  4. Do you mean the 75% of those yards that went for Farragut?? Somehow I don't see Farragut winning by 2 and a half TDs, but I guess it could happen...I think this game will be an all out war until the end...and I don't have to work so I get to go see it!
  5. Well...this game is going to be fun...after a disappointing OT loss to Farragut in the regular season, I think the Govs will be fired up and ready to play some smashmouth football...prediction: WB-21 FHS-13
  6. I just want to say that this was an amazing game to watch! Excellent playing and drive by both teams, but in the end I think that DBs two missed FGs cost them the game...but yeah, I look forward to the weeks to come...especially some well-needed revenge... > BTW...DB has an excellent band...I'm not really into the band, but their show was amazing...
  7. Question...why is the WB v. DB game not on the big ones? I think they are biased against WB...heh...the OR v. WB game wasn't on there either...
  8. as long as we beat bradley and heritage *laughs* we will be playing DB...that's not much to look forward to, but it's still anyone's game out there...we've beat DB before, we can do it again...they have another great team this year, and we have the best we've had in a while except for the few close games (which always seem to be determined on the last drive >_<) which could have gone either way...if we can just get over this tough and unexpected loss tonight we can compete with DB...we beat SC who only lost last week by what, 3 points? I know SC has gotten a lot better since the beginning of the season though and it would have been tough if we had to play them like last year...I don't know...I still have faith though...
  9. wow...great game by both teams...final was McMinn 46 WB 38...wow....*sigh* I guess we'll be going to DB for an extremely tough game...extrememly well played game by McMinn...much better than I expected..congrats kees! Good luck against SC...
  10. I like WB's band performance this year...it's a salute to America and at one point of the show, the flag corps re-enacts the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima...really cool IMO especially with the movie coming out this year... OR also has a great show...
  11. After seeing both teams play, I predict Ooltewah by 7.
  12. I'm thinking the region is going to end up: 1. Ooltewah (*sigh*) 2. Farragut (nice job) 3. WB (meh...) 4. McMinn (why hello, where'd you come from?) From what I saw out of Ooltewah and Farragut, I don't think OR has much of a chance of beating either one of them this year...
  13. This is how I've been looking at this game: McMinn v. Ooltewah: 14-24 WB v. Ooltewah: 24-28 McMinn v. Farragut: 18-34 WB v. Farragut: 16-17 McMinn v. Oak Ridge: 31-30 WB v. Oak Ridge: 21-13 McMinn v. Soddy Daisy: 21-9 WB v. Soddy Daisy: 38-0 Combined McMinn v. Region Opponents: 84-97 Combined WB v. Region Opponents: 99-51 My prediction for WB v. McMinn: 28-14
  14. This was a great game by both teams...excellent effort of OR defense holding WB scoreless until about 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter...then 3 drives give the Govs 21 points to put them in a position to win. IMO, the OR defense just got plain tired at the end and momentum was too high to stop the govs. Again...great game by both teams!
