it's at eagleville if he's talking about the same middle tennessee conference..i think there's six schools in all: ehs, station camp, page, macon county, trousdale county paid their fees but haven't sent in any entries so i don't know if they're planning on coming or what, and i think maybe MLK?..i forget the last school

Eagleville's zones were a great answer for Heritage's very patient offense. I think Eagleville only missed 3 free throws in the game, and only gave up five fouls in the second half. What happened over at Nashville Christian, I fully expected Van Buren to take that game pretty easily??

culleokas starting to get rolling...they played some tough teams at the beginning and were without demario....their about to hit their stride though..should be a good season...who does pickett co. have?
don't know any names, but two guards that shoot the lights out, a very solid post, and great team play. i'll be surprised if they don't go far.

I got Eagleville over Boyd by how ever many they want. Cascade over Community by 10+, 20+ if they can remember how to score. Forrest wins by however much they want, even if fresh is constantly arrogant.

Man we have drama at Community right now. But, the team is playing better and beating the teams that they are suppose to beat. Hopefully we get the ship fixed and compete for the 4th spot in the district. We should handle Boyd easily. I say by 15+ at least.
I will take Forest over Cascade right now. Cascade is struggling outside of Hall. They are just not very deep.
Eagleville will kill MTCS. I have talked to a couple people at the Columbia Academy game. What do ya'll think, could Eagleville have scored 100 if they chose to? Did they barely get to 96 or did they let up? It looks like its going to be Forest and Eagleville at the top of the district again.
eagleville had 96 with about a minute and a half left. i believe they could have but they ran slow down offenses. congrats to forrest and community

Jo Byrns scored on its first 5 possesions in a row. After that it was 2 and 3 team O. You know coach NEVER runs up the score, especially on his good friend Nolen.
does that mean it was 35-0, i can't find a score anywhere

here we go... First of all... Forrest has won the regular season championship the last 3 years... i didnt know that one game meant someone was better... so your point is stupid.. winning the reg season champ is better bc it shows more consistancy! come on guys! and your right, since i say corey is not good then i guess he is not... im not sure but i think this is not corey posting on here so your point is stupid... u did the same thing by saying the other two guys are better... but they are not.. i can promise you that! but i guess he will have to prove it again this year!
in college basketball, do you consider the team who's number 1 in the season, or the team who wins the championship to be the national champs? i guess the gators weren't the best team last year...

will AGAIN be the best team in the district?Okay... My first post of the year... feels so good to be back!
Forrest will again be the best team in the district... they have been to three straight district champ games, 1-2(2004).. The 2005 and 2006 teams were not supposed to be there but lets face it.. Corey Shankle was just to good.. But this years team is the one that was supposed to make noise! And they will. Corey is still the best player in D9A as he has been since he started playing.. Ask any coach or any team and they will tell you that. He will break all the scoring records at Forrest this year.. And he will win both MVPs as he did last year! And he will have help... All experince comes back this year! Gentry, beaulieu, Schnapp, can all shoot lights out. And I promise you that no one in the District has a better utility guy than Brian Whitley! And they have a solid bench! I am not sure what else D9A has and I dont care! Because it doesn't matter! Chapel Hill is def the best team with the best player!

seeing as how eagleville won the district last year, i'd say they're the team to beat.. i can't wait to see them play.

from the jibber jabber here about a qb... it sounds like the eagles have not lost much... obviously, yes, the last couple have weeks have been tough... sounds like to me when the going got tough for the qb the got gone... hard to be a great quarterback when you are not willing to fight through the rough times... not sure if sycamore is a better situation.. i think they are out of the playoffs already....

Will Mastin or Vestal be back for this game?? I understand they are hurt, can anyone give any details to how long? That is there best threat on offense, and best player on defense both out, that hurts. Vestal also gave the offense sparks at times. I hope these 2 are back especially if u guys make it to the playoffs.
yeah, mastin was suspended for a game, he'll be back this week. i have no idea about vestal. but now who knows what's going to happen with QB..
