I saw Buddy Powers at Riverdale hit infield at a summer league all star game one time and a Mets scout asked him if was interested in a job. Then I saw Charles Sleigh from clarksville Northwest hit infield one time also in the summer. It was so bad a well know chiropracter in the mid state gave him his card and told him to come by for a free consultation.

Yes Sir I NEED a Job! I coached two years as volunteer assistant at Riverdale, then did the same thing at LaVergne for two years, and now I just finished my third season as Head Coach at Warren County Middle School. Coached many amatuer teams and two times went to World Series, also last years MS team won the MS State Tourney. "Been down in AAA for three years now and would like to get back up to the Show!" Weather should be as good as it was for the Limbaugh Powers Classic. I hope maybe even a little better. Haston threw yesterday, not sure about TUE, I'm guessing probabally Mitchell, wasn't there. Warren Co. has a couple of freshman who can come of the bench steal second then take third when they get ready: Steven Ehrhardt and Jevon Ramsey!

RHS had many problems in 1997, only the third year Coach had been there. Yes others have state titles, but he and his work ethic has brought Riverdale Baseball on the map not only on the state level, but on the national level. It is hard to find dome one who works as hard as he does YEAR ROUND with his baseball program. Look at RHS now in 2003, then go back and look at it before Coach Powers got there. You'll see the difference and learn a little bit along the way.

Double Trouble Jacob and Joshua Bratcher at Warren Co. HS, along with their other freshamn teammates Nick Cantrell, Brooks Majors and others are playing a great deal with the varsity and doing a fine job. They are all definetly the best around! The future is bright, very bright in McMinnville!

Warren County has a freshman catcher, Jacob Brathcer, who is tough as nails and is already starting all varsity games. He can only go up! Good speed and can hit 2!
