    Here are your coaching mishaps

Throwing da ball three times in a row and punting after a scoring drive on da ground.

Not continuing to run da ball out of da overload set wit da tight end and wing, when SC did not adjust dey alignment one time da whole game. You may think some folks don’t know da game but I can promise you I do patna.

Now, I agree dat we drop too many balls, made a few bad decisions wit da ball, and it’s not all on coaching.

I happen to admire da coach a lot and his oldest son. I also call it how I see it tho patna. I’ve praised dis team many times over da past few weeks. Anybody dat knows da game knows dat points were left on da field last night.

OP like every other fan doesn’t have a clue of the game going in. So, throwing the ball 3 times in a roll is bad in your opinion? Ifin those passes had been successful, you’d not have valid argument. Hindsight is a marvelous aid for arm chair QBs. Agree running the ball has less casualties. The Pirates did a nice job of establishing the running game last night. But with the SP passing threat heavily aided that success. Does you know the ratio of run vs pass or stats? Honestly with better execution by the O, game would have been a mercy call!

I agree dat most just run dey yappers cluelessly

I do kno of a few dat May know a thing or two about football.

I also know da reason you are so quick to come jump in and defend da coaching mishaps. Yep reckon so.

Coaching mishaps, LOPAO! Old Pirate says missed assignments, penalties, over throws, drops, fumbles & sitch are player driven. Jest please identify a coaching mishap. Former Ohio State coach Woody Hayes punching a player for opponent was 1 that to OP’s mind. The Pirates have a HEEP of room fer improvement. BTW, exactly win did coaches win a game or jokey win a race?

Great is when you recruit players in. Only reason sp is so good. Speed really didn’t hurt sc last night. Just couldn’t tackle. Even some south Pitt guys on Dunlap side was saying sequatchie wasn’t tackling well at all. You can’t win them all. You lose and go on to the next game. Who cares. Wasn’t a region game so you learn from your mistakes and move on. Everyone knew sp would win but speed ain’t what killed sc. sc had an off night, couldn’t tackle, coaches play calling was horrible. But like I said move on to the next game

LOPAO, Old Pirate says yous jest like the kinfolkes south. Both program posters always complain bout coaching, when in reality theys clueless. Old Pirate vividly remembers Professor Phil coaching philosophy as 46 on 2, 46 on 1, attempt to pass and rarely a couple other plays. Hail everyone knew the plays. Point is every play is designed to gain ground & be successful. OP says same play ran always has different outcomes with the ones successful are great, the ones that aren’t are terrible play calling by the coaches. Each play is like a street fight, some won, some lost. The coaches are never involved, mush like a jockey is along fer the ride, the horse is the deciding unknown factor!

And sp fans are ridiculous, the football team is a heck of a team, but when a kid goes down hurt and sp fans yell at him to get up. Get the **** outta here with that crap. A lot of sc fans was mad about that, even had a few of my Bledsoe buddies on the fence and they was like wow that’s ridiculous.

Old Pirate says SP surely has some fans, like most programs. However SC fans has zero reason to act holier than thou with their long history of racism. Suggest zipping it, take the earholing and dream of better days. This really a far better example of Ridiculous. Venom served!

Listened a little on radio.Grandson had a little league baseball game at MLL.

GB was missing 6 players due to injuries.3 players quit on Monday.Barn our region other than Coalfield just isn't very good.GB still has a chance at 2,3 or 4 in region. We still have talent on the team as we usually do so it doesn't surprise me when we beat a Harriman team.Im gonna say 3rd with OZ coming in 2nd after the way they dismantled Oakdale last night but Oakdale is still gonna be a guessing game till its played.

Congrats to GB on the W. OP says in times of misery, negativity is isn’t the cure, finding a common goal is road to recovery. Regards

I said something similar in South Pitt thread. Y’all kinfolks are funny. It’s your year until it’s not. Every school is critical of play calling but those that are considered the favorite better enjoy the ride because it’s not every year you get this opportunity. Marion and ER have the most talent in the East. Good win against a good opponent. Not sure Fayetteville will recover from this start if I'm being honest. Several more losses on tap for them. For Marion it is time to get it done kinfolks. Real recognize real cause I’m just keeping it real.

Old Pirate says kinfolkes has a HEEP of similar DNA within the county with a HEEP of yappers. OP finds it hilarious to read posters routinely complaining about play calling offensively or defensively when theys not a clue. Pruit was regularly bashed fer his offensive play calling but had a winning record and even against SP. Old Pirate says Congratulations to the Warriors on hanging in and getting “W”. The stars are aligned fer the Warriors to have a fine season with 2-A generally weaker the 1-A. Best stop the negative jabbering & get the eye on the next ladder rung to Chatt Town.

Absolutely!!! We're getting plays in to late and slowing the offense down. We did whatever we wanted last night to Seq. we could have told them what we we're going to run and they couldn't stop it.  We could have ran the ball for over 300-400 yards last night.  Passing was ok last night, several drops but also some really bad throws.  With our stable of RB's we can keep them fresh and I just don't understand why we're not running the ball more. Also we have no idea at SP how to use a 6'5 260 lb TE.. except to block.. It's not rocket science. Our D is pretty solid, just clean up some coverage assignments.  All in all a good game, but coaches need to step up on offense and get the plays in faster.

LOPAO, Great Example of prior post.

Y’all kinfolks are funny. I recall watching a program that refused to throw the ball when teams begged for it in 19 & 20. Then last year a team that couldn’t run it a lick. Now y’all Kinfolks appear can do both and still complaining. Sequatchie is a pretty good team. Good solid win for y’all.  I expect a good one next week with Marion too. Both schools have great shot to get to Chattanooga. Both fan bases better enjoy the ride. I’m just keeping it real

Old Pirate says the same group of negative chatting fellers always do the yapping. Sit in the stands & listen, vast majority are clueless. Hurry up, get the play in. You Vols are some of the dumbest known to humanity and should be embarrassing, Ifin you knowd as much as yous think. The Pirates run a No huddle, same as Vols & immediately lineup in a chosen formation, THEN according to the D personnel & alignment a play is signaled in, then sometimes it is changed again & even an RPO play may be selected after the play is in motion depending on how the defense responds. OP says far too many posters Grider trained yappers falsely acting like theys a guru. When in reality Theys jest a notch above a skillet slinger’s  recognition of complex offensive schemes. YepReconSo

  9. Old Pirate says the Pirates are far from a well oiled machine, resulting in a load of laundry each week. Indians have home field advantage (7 pts), the Pirates costly penalties (14) puts the Pirates sailing in choppy waters. Both teams are loaded with youth & talent. OP says the Pirates’ nasty defense performance will decide fued.

Can anyone translate this for a land lover such as meself

Old Pirate says Jailhouse High is Jasper located jest blocks away from the Marion County Jail. The lack of support is obvious since us fellers is still posting on last weeks narrow win over Dade county thread. The subterranean is the place them kinfolkes go to in times of sadness. Figure not making the playoffs last year musta did a powerful mount of hurt, cause obviously theys still there fer the most part. Ifin a fellers is looking even the Jackals are missing.

Translation.. he’s just someone with too much time on his hands. Good luck tonight to the Warriors.

LOPAO, Jest who does Jasper play tonight? The Jailhouse kinfolkes sure seem to have lockjaw, none of their sites have been visited to stay on 1st page fer more than 2 days!

“All football announcers will start out with, “get the ball to your play makers”Wallace is a play maker.

Old Pirate ain’t never seen as many Hail Marys attempted as in that Fueding at FC. The Pirates musta encouraged them Rebels too, theys caught on rather quick and started the rock around. Neither one looked good at it neither. The Pirates drop least a half dozen to the house interceptions. Looks like a HEEP to ditch them fancy gloves and mess theys seen on TV, it weren’t wet nor cold either. Figures the Pirates is proving to be skillet heads be fer theys gots a skillet slinger! Ferget trying to be cute, shut your mouth and let the score do all the talking! YepReconSo

Where in the cat hair has you been Grunt. Figure us old codgers stay a right busy now days jest staying upright. Old Pirate says cage rattling jest ain’t the same nows the jailhouse neighbors aren’t an annual fued. How is the family, is there any young Grunts keeping you busy?

Don’t insult me then send me a PM trying to explain yourself OP. You can pretend you weren’t one of the biggest players in the past if you like. Everyone knows what you said and the false accusations you made. Now all of a sudden the same things are unacceptable to hear about your own when had the young man went to school  a few miles down the road you’d be saying far worse about him. You have the track records to prove it. I’m sorry you are so familiar with the side effects of estrogen ma’am, but just because you’re mood swings originate from that doesn’t mean the folks enjoying watching you cry are suffering from the same problem.

LOPAO, Figure they certainly do know, orchestrating / orchestrated was regular verbiage, which is absolutely factual. Again, the comparisons between the the 2 are not close. Figure most skillet heads know a HEEP about estrogen as yous proving in your posts. “Skillet Slingers remember (in part) what they shouldn’t, and forget what they should”.

To be clear I don’t disagree with you about folks being accountable for what they say about people on here but I Still don’t see the difference. Go back and look. This has been light comparatively, y’all got off easy. There’s a few folks loyal to programs like Greenback here as well. You believe in accountability for words, go drag a few of your “boi’s” into the town square and hold them accountable for the things they said about a great family that were much more malicious and they had done nothing wrong at all. I get it, it’s all just words on a message board but this is a very SP thing to do. Gang up and harass a program  you couldn’t beat on the field for a couple of years claiming cheating then just a couple of seasons later the entire pirate nation is shocked and appalled anyone would dare suggest smelling a rat. Well “patna” historically pirate ships were full of rats so the hypocritical “holier than thou” routine is a little overplayed here.

I know not all of the SP fan base is that way but a few of the major players on here are. They’re the ones that were guilty of the same action they, and all the other pirate fans, are now on here condemning. The rest of the pirate faithful are unfortunately enduring this sort of mess because of them and a few like them from other programs. Most of us haven’t said a negative word about the young man. Many like me have even defended him to some degree or another, just like many from all over did in the GB situation but I will admit I do enjoy seeing the same guys that were dishing it out a couple of years ago cry about taking now. Good luck to the young man, like I said earlier unless he’s playing against my Vols I hope he is wildly successful.

Well help my time!  Crow, Old Pirate says yous keep yapping bout 2 things that aren’t in the neighborhood of each other.  The Pirates have been wrongly rumored of misdeeds fer decades resulting in thick skin. This particular issue ain’t bout SP & is nothing more than the attacks on a couple 18 year old kids looking to make a change for the better to finish a few months of high school. The Manhole feller openingly spewing mess is irredeemable. Appears like days past some need a better understanding of words and meanings. The past you so lovingly cherish yapping about took place over months of planning/orchestrating. The program there did not have a Rudolph to guide the sleigh for dasher, prancer, Santa & crew. The Pirates were a favorite to represent the East long before any mention of a transfer. This is totally unlike the situation you so lovingly  defend. Regards to you fer caring so! Now listen carefully, the now resolved eligibility issue had to have, organize, arrange, plan of defense (orchestrated) to make the TSSAA reverse their decision on eligibility. Reports are the Auburn commit had legal council. Probably a War Eagle fan, LOPAO. BTW, check the meds yous taking, appears you got into the Skillet Slinger’s estrogen!

I am from that area of Georgia and live in TN now and have no dog in the hunt as far as caring if he plays or doesn’t or if his addition to the SP teams means they win a championship. I followed his story when he was appealing eligibility and know that saying his mom got paid by a school is not true and that he is homeless by choice not because of any hardship other than he wasn’t going to be allowed to see a girl from Dalton or play ball.

Last I heard he lives with the girlfriend and her family on Dalton and I don’t know how he is paying his way or cell phone and whatnot. He is definitely making some immature decisions that can have life long consequences.

LOPAO, SOP, proves you are clueless.

It’s just never added up and I guarantee  they have his back it’s their butts and backs too lol

LOPAO, should talk bout something you know about. All of this dirty laundry BS you fellers is yapping is speculation only. Hard to get past being envious. I’d bet the SP administration is well informed of things not made public, it’s called privacy laws.

  18. 2 minutes ago, orngnblk said:

OP transfer rules are just that.Believe it or not.He has to have the same living situation he had at the previous school.Student Athlete.

I personally don't care either way.But I would not bet a Gold or Silver ball on not knowing the rules.

OLD PIRATE ain’t no rules expert, only making observation theys difference in a 18 and one who ain’t. If and how does that apply, ain’t got a clue. That Manhole man keeps a saying he ain’t homeless neither. Appears he has decided to leave home, fer what ever reason it might be. Ready that manhole man’s mess that was deleted early, he accused others close to him fer trying to capitalize on him. One thing is clear, his home life is not ideal. Theys gots to be more to the story than known to the public. OB, momma’s are well trained skillet slingers and it ain’t going to surprise this skillet head Ifin theys been skillet slinging.

  19. 54 minutes ago, crow said:

Do you have to live with a parent or guardian after 18? Couldn’t an adult live on their own? If a transfer is applicable then as long as a legit move happened wouldn’t that be OK? Seriously asking as I’m not sure.

Crow, Old Pirate pert near sure, once 18 a youngon ain’t gots to have a parent or guardian cause theys gots a HEEP more freedom.
