  1. "cascade11" , you seem to have an inside view of the team. What kind of Speed training do the coaches apply , to the backs , linemen, Ect..., if any? Seems to me, the teams that go the farthest are the quickest. We've got speed in places, but our overall speed could have been better. It may have already improved with the players that are moving up. In single A ball, you've got a few big players, but alot of average size kids. I think there are certain exercises ( lifting ) that should be stressed for speed training. What's your take on it?
  2. So, With out "Jogles" the line is going to stink? Size is not everything on the line, look at Jo Byrns line last year. They played the whole game in our backfield and our line had more size. We should work on speed and technique.
  3. I'm only guessing, but I think "jogles" has changed his sign-in name and also his father is "bring the pain". And both have said negative things about coach Parker under another name. Am I right?
  4. Learn from this. Take this into your future, but don't be bitter. This was the best season Cascade has ever had and you were in it. I played one year when Cascade had only 12 players at the beginning of the year. We got up to maybe 18 players. We went 0-10. I didn't play my senior year and I regret it. Even though we lost every game that year, it was one of the best times of my life and I have a great life, Ha,Ha! /laugh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> If you want to play college ball don't give up. There's other ways in. Good Luck!
  5. You might be getting me confused with someone else. I never gave my opinion of Coach Parker. There is alot of good and bad that could be said of anyone, but if your a player and your not happy, let your voice be heard. Stand up and tell the faculty. Maybe talk to the coach as an adult, don't just complain. If you know me, I can give you my opinion on why we didn't get past the 1st round. Would you like to be more specific on why you think we didn't get farther.
  6. No one is talkin trash, but you. Everything I said is either a fact or an opinion. Cascade's record proves they were a better team last year. I do have an opinion on why they didn't go any farther in the playoffs, but I'll keep that to myself. Lets prove him wrong Coach!! Good Luck Cascade & Coaches!!
  7. Cascade's team knows how it feels to be winners now, and they know how it feels to lose the bigger games. They might not win the region, but they have a better chance next year than ever before, and they know it. I also feel they will go deeper into the playoffs. It's hard to say until we see all the teams. I can't wait til spring scrimaging starts.
  8. You may be right, but Cascade will be a stronger team next year. If either team losses a region game, it could spell trouble for them. The pressure is on.
  9. I hear almost all of JB's offense is returning, but their lossing alot on defense. I admit JB's offense is enough to win alot of games alone. Almost all of Cascade's Starters are returning, with a new kid. I hear the kid has some speed, maybe to replace Seth Day #33. This will be a big plus for us. Seth Day is a play maker and will be missed. The new kid played for a bigger school and was impressive. I'd like to see another school or two in the region step up and improve the region over all. How are you other guys stackin up?
  10. Cascade should be better this year, but will they be good enough to win the region? How much better will Jo Byrns be? And I'm not excluding the rest of the region.
  11. Cascade: #1 Matt Henderson RB #5 Cory Phillips FB #9 Jacob Carkuff QB #25 MoMo Stewart PK ALmost all the linemen
  12. I don't think Cascade11 or Myself have played anyone in a long time. Just from a spectator's point of view, Jo Byrn's defense can play with the best of 1a football. Just like your view, or anyone else, of MTP.
  13. Jo Byrn's D has a lot of motivation after last week and I'm sure this week's D will be sharper than it has been all year, it needs to be. Anyone that thinks Jo Byrns doesn't have a strong d is crazy. Jo Byrns by a touchdown.
  14. And to add to that, I was at Every game this year and I yelled just as loud as anyone. Your fans and parents love you , and we'll be there for you anytime and anyplace!
