  1. Homecoming for Dobyns Bennett... Look for a big win from the tribe. DB played great against a very good Sevier County team and I see no light at the end of the tunnel for Knox Karns this week. The only weakness I see in the Indians is the punt return team. Throp has let the ball by him way too much. He is really hurting the Offense's starting position and mistakes like that can't be made in the playoff's. DB's last drive of the game last week should have started at the 25 after a fair catch but for unknown reasons Throp let the ball through and watched it roll to the 12, instead of a 75 yard field DB was faced with 88 yards. Even though the Indians pulled it out last week those yards really add up. 13 yards can mean going on to next week and going home in the playoff's. Why not put a playmaker like Sylvester deep and let him return a few? Even still DB rolls through Karns. DB- 40 Karns- 3 late in the 4th Roll Tribe Roll
  2. drdb2...To answer your question Sensabaugh is easily one of the top 5 most dangerous receivers in the state. He is averaging a rediculous amout of yards per catch(somewhere above 30 yards per catch) and leads the team in recieving TD's. The only weakness I see is starting center Trevor Salyers being out due to injury. Bo Burton may have to scramble more than he would like and this would seriously hurt the chances for Bo to get the ball down field to Coty.Back-up Zak Boggan has done well when filling in for Salyers in previous games...but then again Sevier County has a much more promising Defense than any team we have seen this year. Many thanks to SCBear for the great reply to my question. I look forward to see how this 6'3" safety/corner matches up deep down feild with Coty. As for Corey Watson not getting the ball thrown his way, look for DB to attack him just as much as any other player. Coach Clark just point blank does not build his playbook to any one player on D. It seems to me that the all Big East and first team D player will have a real test for the first time this year. I am looking forward to a defensive game from both teams! 3. True that DB has given up 37 points... but 10 of those points were against 2nd and 3rd string defense..... not the starters. And another 7 of those points were given up on a special teams play(also not starters). Concerning the one shut out... South is a VERY good team this year and has so far lost only to DB.. Gallatin's three shut outs have 6 combined wins (only one more than south). It is hard to compare defenses when one school plays a bunch of nobody's and the other plays high-caliber teams. I still stand by the statement that DB has the most dominant Defense in the state of Tennessee... and they're not going to be done getting better until there is a ring on every finger! 4. Quick question for the SCHS fans.... Is there any stand-out corner/safety that can cover one of the biggest deep-ball threats in Coty Sensabaugh?? Don't get me wrong DB has so far only used the deep passes when the Defense is fully committed to the bruising run offense. Coty can really inflict major damage when the ball is thrown his way and I was just wondering if you guys might be able to stop him. If the deep ball can be covered better than it has been in any previous game is should be a great game with tons of defensive plays... If not DB will put up huge numbers. They are just too deep at every posisition to be stopped by a defense that can only stop the run or only the pass(DB has yet to see an exceptional pass D) Thanks for the info. Roll Tribe Roll
  5. D-B has the best defense in the state of Tennessee. That's a fact. And from what I have gathered Sevier County doesn't have the kind of run or pass O to put up the kind of points to compete with D-B's high powered offense. D-B's D-line is the most underestimated in the state. The ends have great speed and technique and the nose-men make any center shake in their cleats. They are always over looked to the linebacker crew. DB - 35 SC- 10 Roll Tribe Roll
