Funny you never speak that way to me when we meet why is that? I wasn't trying to be disrespectful in any way to you. Tell me why you think Meadows is better than Hardy. The only advantage Meadows has is her height, other than that Hardy is the better all around player. Now does Meadows have a larger upside? Yeah I'd say she does simply because of how tall she, but she will have to get in shape to achieve that otherwise she'll not play much at the next level. Hardy has really come on as of late and is playing the best ball she has played all year. Clarkrange had no answer for her the other night, don't you think that's odd given the fact that Meadows is so much better in your opinion?

Meadows game is pretty dang good. She has more than just height going for her. I am biased of course but I do like Hardy's game. She is a good ball player. However, you can't coach height, a basketball IQ, soft touch whether around the rim, mid range, or past the 3 point line. Kara has those intangibles. She is also a great passer and once she has the ball in the paint, no one can stop her consistently. Also, she changes the game plan for a lot of teams by taking out the middle when she is the paint defensively and when she gets it there offensively. I'm not the coach but Garrett is a better matchup to Hardy than Meadows. For a couple reasons, they are both 4's and Kara is still getting in shape. She is getting there.

Could she be in better shape at this point post surgery? Yes, maybe. Will she be in shape for the next level, absolutely or she won't play. My guess is she will. Insell is no dummy and he will get it out of her. Mark my words. And I'm willing to bet the farm she doesn't go 1-13 from the field should these 2 teams play again. But it is basketball played by a bunch of teens with a lot of pressure put on them to succeed.

Jimbo Jackson County's post player was the best player on the floor and that was the case the last time these two teams played. She is the MVP of District 7A without a doubt. Pickett has a better all around team but Kylie Hardy is the best player in the District and i don't think its close to be honest. No disrespect to any of the other players or teams. If JC's guards continue to improve then i can see this team making a run to the glass house again. 2nd in the district tournament and you're in there. No one from the other side of the region or substate poses any threat whatsoever. The final four in the region tournament will all be from District 7A.

I'm not sure what your problem is but... 1. You should be suspended at the least 2 weeks from this site. 2. I'm betting the farm you would not say anything in public like you say here. 3. I don't have any kids playing now but I guarantee you wouldn't say these to me in public about mine and dare say you would to Buck's dad either..

Yep. With a little knowledge of what's going on in Byrdstown and Clarkrange too. Buck won't shoot them out and PC Can't take Meadows out of the game unless the guards can't handle Byrdstowns pressure.. that's the only way. Should be a gooden

Was never unhappy, I can take some critisism. I have admitted time and time again that LA beat us, never once tried to use an excuse. Someone did ask what happened and told them facts that backed up my opinion. I never said or thought Marshall was an LA I assure you.

And yes imo it was anomaly (fluke) that we were beat by LA. We are a better team than what showed up that night. You have your opinion and I have mine. LA won that night. We are still playing football and your not. The only two facts in our conversation.

But if you were better than what showed up that night in the regular season, then you should've won. Bottom line is we won that night but obviously that's all moot because EH is still playing. MC is no LA, for what it is worth.. Happy now snookems? :/

Yep, Linder and the QB gave us fits running the ball. Keep on doubting us, we don't have a chance because LA beat us and Marshall beat LA. I think everyone knows that game was an anomaly. After all is said and done we're still playing football at EH while all your plateau boys are inside bouncing a ball. But we will be joining you next week according to all the critics on here. Keep it coming, we like it.

Come on big guy.. everyone knows it was an anomaly but you. LA is accustomed to playing good football teams. Winning some and losing some. So, on that night with EH, we had to win. You play with what you have and move on. So, good luck to you. You will need it. MC will be the best team you've played to date.

 

And don't be doubting our round ball skills either... LA has sent Chattanooga home on several sub-state appearances.

Thank you. For the youth up front LA had a great season. There are many teams who sat at home in the 2nd round of the playoffs. I had a chance to talk to a few Marshall County folks during the game. Good folks with a good football team.

 

Now, for my sour moment..lol. The offensive pass interference on our 1st possession of the 2nd half was a terrible call. I literally was 5 yards from the play when it happened. It probably would not have made a difference in the game as the damage was already done not to mention we could not stop MC's offense but killed any chance for momentum to mount a comeback. Now don't take wrong what I'm saying. Marshall County was by far the better football team.. And I do wish your football team the very best.

How well do you think we are going to match up with East Hamilton?

I didn't make the game in the regular season when we played them. Just know with what I have read that they are big up front and speedy skilled players like MC.

 

I do know this. I was very impressed with Marshall County last night. Nothing like watching a team in person. Very good football team. LA has been paired been in the east for a while and east TN football for the last 10+ years, especially Fulton, Catholic, etc. are some of the best programs in the state and even Greenville (just look at the state titles the last 10 years). But with Fulton out (who has endless size and athletes year after year), MC has a legitimate shot at the gold, IMO. And at this point everyone is pretty dang good, so you got to have some luck too. I wish your team the best!
