  1. So, what field in the Chattanooga area is your number one?

Lookout Valley is number 1 on my list just because of the playing surface, the environment, the conditioning of the infield, and the fact that the outfield is easy to play on because you don't have to worry about a crazy hop.

Oh, and I know that field is a little short, but theres only been five homeruns out of it this year.

By the way, here's my top ten

    1. Lookout Valley

    2. Ooltewah

    3. McCallie

    4. Baylor

    5. Soddy Daisy

    6. Hixson

    7. Boyd-Buchanan

    8. Cleveland

    9. Red Bank

    10. Central

I respect the fact that Hixson wond AA field of the year, but that doesnt change the fact that thier dirt is way too soft, and thier dugouts are positioned badly and too closed in.

  2. Yes, it is the 6-7 of April. Coalfield, Monterey, Mt. Pleasant, Columbia, Collinwood and Rockwood are going to be there for sure. And I agree, the Jackets will win it all.

    THE LOOKOUT VALLEY YELLOW JACKETS!!!!!!!!!

Take it from someone whos seen it from the dugout, the Jackets only know how to do one thing. WIN!!!!

Forrest Rockets...Lost 8 from Last yr's Runner up team But still have alot of Talent!!!Will have alot of youth this season with (5 seniors,4 juniors,8 sophomores, and 5 freshamn) but as the yr goes on and experiece grows could be a sleeper team come May!

In regard to the rockets, they were not by any means a bad team. However they did lose thier ace, Mikie Minor, after last year. I do not see any better of an outcome for them this year. I do think however, if they had conserved Minor's arm against Lookout Valley last year, they could have gone all the way. I saw Minor throw with my own two eyes. If they had saved his arm that day, they couldn't have been beaten.

If Unaka can find a solid ace, they'll be in the mix of things come May again.

The way Unaka played against lookout valley last year they probably won't go back to state unless they brought up some ballplayers through and through or were just having a bad week.

  5. I am looking forward to the matchup between McMinn co. and CCS at 152 lb

Macintosh from McMinn and Gregory from CCS are both pretty quick and in shape.

It will be an interesting matchup and I can't say who I pick in this one.

Also the 189, 171, and 103 from Lookout Valley are decent wrestlers to watch out for.

  6. "Lookout Valley has a good running back...6 TD's in one game a couple weeks ago...But if you stop him then it should be a rather easily won game by TC..."

There is no easily won game in the PLAYOFF'S!!!!! That's the whole point there is no one player who carries a team to the playoffs. It's a TEAM SPORT!!!

You don't get that far unless you have a good TEAM!!! For instance :3 rb's, 4wr's, 2qb's and a line like a concrete barrier, after all someone had to block for Chas.

  7. None of them are gonna be over by half time, that doesn't happen in the playoffs. Chas is gonna give 'em a "run" for the money and they aren't ever gonna quit. it's gonna be a real good game. Anyone who thinks it's gonna be over by halftime must be sorely misinformed. And there is no way you can believe Chas is all we have. Look at our o-line, d-line, three other rb's, good wr's and an accurate quick qb, that isn't well known bc he mainly gets the ball to Chas, but can still hurt you w/ his arm.

  8. You missed the point. The point is, It's hard to have a good football team with a small scfhool and it's true. But, we have done it. Your probably gonna think I'm crazy but, I go to Lookout Valley and I have seen things things in this program noone knows about. Like the massive amounts of injuries going into the Temple and South Pitt. games, and the fact that it's coach Webb's 3rd year at head coach. Which means he's the one that turned this program around

  9. Taft is nothing to be intimidated by. I know they're locked up, but they're still a high school football team and they can be beat. I also think LV will be one of the teams to do it.

  10. Chas has rushed for over 1000 yds and were only 6 games into the season. Pretty impressive to me.

yea chas is pretty good. I heard some of the whitwell coaches last week saying they wished they new how to defend him..... I guess thats what mostcoaches say, which is why he has already gone for 1000 yds. this year.
