Let me add Ky Commitment Christian Coleman of Milan had a record 4 sacks, he was a beast against a offensive line with 4 Div.1 recruits. 8 tackles forced fumble. QB got MVP but Coleman could be starting next year. Being from the east never saw him play or heard of him.

Leaving the game I had several HV fans wishing us good luck against their arch rival, I believe most HV fans would love to see Eliz. go down. 1st year Head coach Larry Shively (formerly from Science Hill) Presented Ron Durbin(GP) with game ball. Ron had 13 carries 144yds 3 tds, 5 catches 78 yds, and 3 pics.GP out gained HV 397 to 196. Held them to 86 yds rushing. Happy Valley played a tough game tonight, I know GP is wore out. I don't know anything about Elizabethton, HV has played both teams does GP have the players to beat betsy.

Don't know anything about HV players, alittle about GP. Walter Barber RB has 8yd avg, 19tds,over 1000, Ron Durbin has 1100 all purpose 17 tds,Ty Marshall QB has 1364 passing, 60%, 16 tds. They can run and throw this year, this will be 7 point game, Heard HV is pretty solid. I'm sure coaching staff at GP is looking for cracks.

AE hasn't exploded in a game yet, they are a dangerous team to get out.I think turnovers will be big, and AE is not known to usually win that battle. Looks like great weather for HS football fri. night all over E Tenn. Betsy should win by 10, but don't be too surprised if AE comes out with a win they have good backs.

Bottom Line GP and AE are best two 3A teams in their conference, HV and Eliz best two in theirs. Last year Eliz won big. West Greene gave our best team all they wanted, but it could also be a GP AE rematch at GP. That has a nice ring too it.

This game is going to take alot out of both team, both quality programs. It gets gut check time starting this week round 2. Both teams have had to play hard to get here. It will be from here out who stays Hungry for the most part. I think any of these 4 teams could play Alcoa in 4th.

The McDonald B Ball players don't play football, but we have 5 football players that will play basketball.

Yep the boys I'm sure are sore, SN was a hard nose bunch. Did HV beat them pretty bad this year can't find any stats.The Key for GP is staying hungry and not thinking about round ball.We have 2 McDonald all American picks this year and our B Ball team is good. We have 5 players that play B Ball.The Coaching staff will do their best to keep them focus.
