I went to this game also. When Hampton played Grace Christian last year in Knoxville they were the nicest fans and facility I have ever visited without question. The fans came over to welcome us, our cheerleaders were given "gift bags" our players and coaches were set up with a hospitality table with food and drinks. I can only imagine how the players and fans felt last Thursday night, after the way they were treated by Cloudland. I don't think it made the Grace player you called "Wannabe", or his parents feel better that you gave the coaches sitting in the booth with you "cudos" after embarrassing their kid in front of his team and your team. My son and I went to the game to cheer for Cloudland because I have several good friends from Cloudland. Several players from Hampton attended this game. They were cursed by your Cloudland fans. Several older men came up to these boys and shouted "Hampton s@cks!" The fans were throwing stuff at these boys. I have never seen any worse sportsmanship shown at any other school with the exception of Cosby last year. Those Scott are the facts - not accusations. You as the "Voice of the Landers" are an educated man and a teacher. You should know better.

What else do you do to motivate your "football players" sacrifice a goat?

You people really are sick. Just read your own post. When you put up a tombstone with my son's name on it that's a "threat". I take it serious as a parent. You guys may not. It's not all about winning. What I saw and felt at Cosby went way beyond motivating a group of "kids". I certainly wouldn't want you to coach my son. As I said it's not all about winning. Rivaly and competion is what it's all about. What are you teaching your kids? JC does much more than coach, he teaches the boys about life. What they learn from him they carry with them the rest of their lives.

What about the tombstones you placed in the end zone with our players names written on them. What did you call that? What about the car you pounded with the sledgehammer at the entrance gate? Was that motivational? Let me say this as a parent of a Hampton Bulldog Football Player. I HAVE NEVER FELT AS OFFENDED- AT ANY SCHOOL -AS I FELT AT COSBY. WHAT KIND OF PRINCIPAL ALLOWS PLAYERS AND COACHES TO PLACE TOMBSTONES ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD WITH A VISITING SCHOOL'S FOOTBALL PLAYERS NAME ON THEM? THIS WAS DONE AT YOUR SCHOOL IT WAS YOUR COACH AND PRINCIPAL'S RESPONSIBILTY. IF ADAM AND LUNCEFORD'S PICTURE WAS IN YOUR LOCKER ROOM THAT ADDED TO THE REST OF THE STUFF I SAW ON YOUR CAMPUS I FELT THIS WAS A THREAT. AND OBVIOUSLY YOU ACCOMPLISHED AT LEAST ONE OF THOSE THREATS. IF YOU ARE THE COACH YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MOST OFFENSIVE /UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT I HAVE EVER WITNESSED. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN MOTIVATING A TEAM AND WHAT I SAW TAKE PLACE LAST YEAR AT COSBY.
