  1. Region 5-4a has a lot of talent at the wr position. Donovan Maxwell, Demetrous Garrett, Dylan Cross, Chase Askins, Cal Roberts, Jamie Graham, Jonathan Moore and I think you could even mention dual threat RB/WR, Jacques Seward in that category...Who is the best? Memorandum To: The people reading this From: a fellow fan In my eyes it is Garrett because of his deep-threat ability(22ypc) and physicality. No, he isnt the most imposing physical specimen but, his gamebreaking production offsets his 5'10, 160 frame.
  2. Ensworth Running Backs, Tavarres Jefferson(So) and Orleans Opoku-Darkwa(Fr) have combined to amass 148carries, 1,014yds(7ypc) and 9tds. In my eyes they are one of the better underclassmen backfield combos in the state. Jefferson's successes include an 81yd ret for a td--a good example of his all-purpose speed--he also has passed the ball a few times. Through the air he is 3-4, for 87yds and a td. Darkwa sounds like he is from another country. With his odd name, Orleans has rushed for 53carries, 377yds and 2tds. His numbers are not as good as Jefferson but, he is not as seasoned as Jefferson either. Darkwa is only a freshmen but, his upside looks great. This past week in a close one with Giles Co. he dashed into the endzone for a 2-point conversion. They are both 5'10 and a buck 70. Although neither of them are imposing physical specimens their talent seems to be huge for Ensworth(4-2). For future reference don't forget the all-purpose talent of Jefferson, the super soph or Opoku-Darkwa, the diaper dandy.
