clarksville fan i dont know who you are but why are you taking shots at me. I dont recall hastling drake reed. My opinion was however when he first moved here he was over rated because he had never played in a varsity game and hadnt started playing aau. Ive heard hes worked really hard and he had a nice summer with the ballerz and that he deserves a spot with the top sophmores of the state.I give him props and hopes he continues his good work but remeber he still hasnt played in a varsity game yet and with your statement about the d-1 players is rediculous. I know of another person that could play off the top of my head and his name is will newell. Unbelievable athlete, top notch grades, needs to become a bit more coordinated but so do alot of players.There are alot more than 5 players in the area the can play d-1 InCLUDING MYSELF if we work hard enough and keep our grades up because thats what we play for. Im gonna play until i cant anymore and other players feel the same way so when you get on here telling people what they can and cannot do its crazy but you have your opinion and are free to state it but it means absolutley nothing to us high school ballers who are trying to do something.

Clarksville academy scrimmages *the* APSU intermural army team on the 8th of nov, also we scrimmage F.R.A. on the 12th, rossview on the 18th, and ft. campbell @ ft.campbell on the 21! All games except the ft campbell games ar eheld at CA. times and 4 30 but the ft campbell scrimmage is at 5 i believe. [Edited by SouthTnLooker on 11-2-02 2:08A]

Kevin and thoams are great players.Toller on the other hand will not pull down 10-12 rebounds a game, thats rediculous. He doesnt move weel enough. I can refer to the n'west team as having the most talent in the city this seaosn by far! The key to thier season isnt going to be howmany points someone avg.'s or the stats. This team will go as far as anyone as LONG AS THEY PLAY AS A TEAM!! This has always been a problem and also will the players buy into thier coaches system which they havent done recently either. Northwest will go to the state if they can play as a team THE ENTIRE SEASON!

is 6'6 thomaf pfaff actually going to play for northeast???? I knew he would play jv but this summer in aau he was far from playing varsity but i wish him luck. Also robert curry hasnt done anythign in basketball sicne ymca league and was overrated then.

your right, kevin is an extremely good point gaurd and this summer during aau he was outstanding. I havent seen him and thomas play together so i wont say if theyre the best in the state and also is brandon the only player central has ? I mean does everything evolve around him???

and i do remember beating you guys. You had some kid trip in the lane and bust his mouth on one of our post players knee and he went to the hospital, i do belive we won that game.

crossup, i like all your posts...in those distrct standings do you really believe kenwood will be better than northeast. they have sampson and harris, thats only 2 players and if mike handles the point like he did this summer, i dont see them beating northeast. There is 2 heavy a load for the 2 of them to carry in that tough distrct

A power house????? I play for ca and last year we beat them and we only won 9 games all season. We scrimmage fra the 12th at ca, yall maybe be solid but not a powerhouse.

I havent seen drake reed play since the season of last year when he played for CA's jv team after transferring. At that point he was no where near as good as brandon burney but i havent seen him play since then. Also in my opinion its alright to discuss the best players but for this upcoming season we could see the uprising of new players and the decline of players who were at the top this past season. Basketball is an unpredictable sport and there are so many great players in our city. One who i would like to point out is Brian skelton. He plays for houston cty. He would easily be at the top of this list now if everyone would go watch this kid. He is a level above everyone else, unbelievable hops, probably more than anyone in clarksville and hes so smooth. It looks as if hes not even tryin. Everyone needs to watch this kid play because if he would hustle more he would easily be 1 of the most highly recrutied players anywhere!

i totally agree with crossup as far as kevin townley. we played together on the 16u c-ville magic and we had an awesome team only losing 1 game all summer to the nashville stallions and next summer is expecting to be better but he is the best pg ive played with and had the best vision and played wiht more consisancy than anyone on our team although you say he doesnt play hard all the time but this summer he played every minute at 100%.

thanks alot guys for the information, ive checked with coach and it is whitehouse christian but like you said gomab i havent heard of them and we used to play lighthouse until the day before the games they would call and cancel and i dont know to much about that. Is station camp a strong team? I think ca will have a tremendous year. We play kenwood form the area which everyone over here is excited about and i wish we could play more teams from the area like we did in the apsu camp because were ready to show the county we can compete with them but whether wel show it is totally different.

TnBball or anyother knowledgable person of teams...can anyone tell me who is station camp h.s? I know theyre a first year team but what are they about and also christian community h.s as well as whitehouse**christian** i know there is a whitehouse but our schedule says whitehouse christian. thanks for any help

Didnt they beat stratford in the belmont tournament by 6 or so? Thats about as good as it gets.
