  1. guys keep thinking you have a group of allstars and when you get beat by these average 7a teams you'll have to reacess your team. Wheather you like it or not you lost 4 good players last year and are not near as good and some of them beat you then and they'll beat you again this year except more often.

    can i have some feedback?

  2. WOW! then clays junior class is loaded. this team has a great starting 5 and 5 great bench players! roach and caleb lynn combined for at least 40+ along with boles 10 or 12 this team is going to be a run and gun team with boles running the point! can't wait to see them tuesday night against Baxter!!! :roflol:

Lynn had 24 roach had 20..when did caleb lynn start blockin shots?

  3. well im gonna go ahead and throw in spot for my chargers, i mean i know they're not a tyner or howard, but we should do pretty well...Got a few transfers/1 lost-maury ragland-to focus on football

sr-Branden Simpson-PG/6'2-very strong player, def and outside range has increased greatly

sr-Josh Moss-sg/f/6'5-very good shot inside and out, strong at gettin to the hole, great def

sr-Tyler Williams-sg/f/6'4-very good shot, defense is above good, not a strong player at gettin to the hole but very talented

    sr-Andrew Wilcox-c/f/6'6-gotten stronger,and faster,pretty decent shot from outside for a big man

sr-Zach Rayle-f/6'3-strong,fast,very physical, good shot but not great, above average at gettin to the hole for his size

sr-ben stiles-f/6'-very strong, okay shot, will get his minutes, used more to get fouls and rebounds

sr-dillon williams-g/f/6'3-great shot from outside/inside,good at gettin to the whole, not as strong as a coach would like but gets it done

sr-joe fritz(trans)-c/f/6'6-great shot blocker, needs to get stronger, better than average shot

jr-scott moses-g/5'11-very fast, just a great athlete, great shot, great defense, plays just as hard if not harder than his bro shane

    so-corey smith-g/f/6'1-very fast,athlete,good down low,good shot

    so-caleb bryson-g/f/5'10-alright speed,increased ball handling over summer,great shot from outside,alright inside,above average def.

*there may be more players added to varsity but these are the key providers

this is from that thread.. now lets let somebody from clay show some love to the bulldogs and show the matchups. its gonna be exciting

  4. FYI midtn sports fan celina played westmoreland the year the seniors now were in eighth grade

if they did it was in consolation game JC beat RBS in championship game but this is differant time differant game and nothing then matters. And nobody except a couple of post on here thinks Clay and Friendship are handsdown favotites, they could be but lets play the games and when did district teams start playing each other in camp.

No it was the championship game the year marty maxfield coached the jr high.It was celina and westmoreland. it was when the seniors now were in eighth grade then the next year was when jackson county and red boilin played for it boles second eighth grade year

  5. I think tourney time will be exciting.Especially with Lynn and Boles. They work well together and always have. I wish I could have seen them on the court together more last year. And you cant forget the returning district mvp. Adams is a good spot shooter. If Korth is aggresive to the basket and makes better decisions he will be in good shape. How is Lynn doin with the knee surgery?

  6. They've got a pretty descent ball player from Florida, and also a kid that couldn't play last year because of grades the kid is a sharp shooter but needs to improve on defense. That and the fact they only graduated one guy off of last years squad should put them in the front running. What they'll do there or if they'll stay there will be determined come season time.

who did clay pick up that couldnt play because of grades last season?

  7. Clay Co. rolled over Eagleville last night without to much of a problem. Shawn Garrett scored like 25 points and Birdwell had 15 or so. The thing about this team is we have alot of playmakers. You cant gard just one of us. Tyler looked impressive as did Dale. Should be a great year for Clay Co. I predict a district championship. Who's gonna stop us????

clay didnt roll it was a hard fought game till the buzzer.Eagleville couldnt buy a shot but it was a good defensive game for clay as well for offence.Clay does have playmakers all over the palce and boys who can play off the bench as well. they will challenge pickett for the title if they dont get the big head and think they are good first second round of the tourney.Clay has alot of talent with a good coach and will go places in the future but there is a long time till tourney lets see what happens.GO DOGS
