Real legit question....Why are players quiting and coaches quiting on this coach? Sands and others. No one from the current staff stayed with him to coach and players quit as soon as he got the job

Still over 500!!!! and if it's 1 game over 500 that is far better than 1 win against a very bad team...Under the last coach we beat team like Red Bank, East Ham Etc....

Do a search.  There are many people that will take the job.  The last coach was the real deal.  We have to not look for alumni to take over and find the best man for the job.  

After a loss to struggling single A team it is time for Howard to find a new coach.  With only close to 30 players in the program football Howard needs a relatable coach that the players will play for.  There's too many athletes in Chattanooga but nobody wants to play for this guy.

How hard will this be investigated? Because im sure Carter has not moved to Bradley County.

Nobody wants to play for Maffet. that is the only problem howard has. He is the only program with short numbers

Nate is right, nobody wants to play for coach Mafet.  He was on the previous staff and none of those guys returned when he got the job because they knew how it would be.  Then he has had staff leave him and go to brainerd because he is hard to work with.  he has almost coached at howard 10 years and not 1 former player comes to his defense

The problem at Howard is Tally shouldn't be the basketball coach. Maffett shouldn't be the head football coach.  The end

If Tyner cant get it done in AA as the only high school that is a Magnet school in Chattanooga that city will never win a championship.  

Tyner will win it this year.  They will most definitely beat Bolivar.   

Well this has been a problem all year since the shake up.  All of Howards away games take atleast an hour to get to them not to mention they are a 4:00 school.  TSSAA got this all wrong and they dont care as long as they make their money.  Somebody needs to just go to city championships!!!! Cut TSSAA out

You do realize that at McMinn only 1 foul was called on McMinn at Halftime....and the fact that When Howard played at Bradley they had 14 fouls called by halftime?!!! Not to mention the way the all district voting went....Cry me a river

Howard has surprised everyone this year.  They Graduated 4 really good seniors and lost their best junior in Fisher due to transfer.... I would still like to know why he did that.  This team was supposed to be bad but suprisingly they are good.  The district they are in is very solid.  I do expect cleveland to pick up some steam and push for the crown....

Saw York play Howard on film last year.  They were very young I think they only lost their post player.  Those young guys are going to be special.  I think they have to go through Tyner and Brainerd to get to state

What has happened to  this program overnight! Seems like I could at least count on a competitive game over the past few years.  The coach took over a dismal program and made the school and community believe.  I don't want to blame the coach but we have the same team from last year 

Howard needs to pull an Ooltewah!!!

I hear what you are saying but that doesnt make it right.  I agree with you on it but im talking about calls that werent made.

Lol You literally said you seen missed calls lol ....Howard shoots 3s like that Bowens is normally on but wasnt tonight.  I am not blaming the officials or coaches because from where we were sitting you could hear the coaches telling the kids to attack the basket.  But 24  free throws is a bit much especially when the other team shoots only 8.  And SS is an agressive team.  Congrats and good luck the rest of the way

Howard is very young they may have 6 juniors and seniors total.  Look for them to be better in another year or so

just curious but how many starters will each of these teams have returning.
