Last season fairview was a good team, so far sounds like they have struggled. What happened? inuries, players graduated, new coaches, or rebuilding just wondered .. Panthers are on the uphill swing and after last yr playoff i thought this would be the toughest game of the season, now sounds like HC is going to be somewhat of a challenge..

Randall Hankins would have to be a canidate or Ken Crowell, fast running back from the 80's then maybe benny pace, great receiver maybe the best ever, Barry Tenison tough linebacker from the early 80's

everyone does have their own theory and opinion of teams, here is mine. I have been involved and seen football for more than 25yrs of my life. in that time from 1980-1982 they were very tough for a single A, since then in 1994-1996, some opportunities in that time, then most recent 2001-2003, that was our closest ever, 2002 some far sighted referrees helped in Makenzie on two different 4th down calls un believable, none the less. here we are in 2007, and i personally beleive that this is the most well rounded and well built team i have ever seen, only time is going to reveall if they have enough chemistry for a state championship though and we have many hurdles before we get to that point. JUST MY THEORY.

With all that being said, and with respect intended" if that works for camden, then let thaty be your fix, or preparation for your school and Lewis county is going to keep on doing what works for us... and with all respect in my thoughts on that.. I think lewis is leading at half-time 2-0 on the bye week..lol have a nice day

i agree competition is weaker than ordinary, but Lewis County is not responsible for other programs, we also did not put us in 62a we are placed here. As for as being a fan/alumni it would be awesome to have tight played 4qtr football to build into the playoff season

waverly, misprint(OOPS) , but camden declined early , last fall after the restructure, and just because our region is weak is defintely not our fault, the other programs are responsible for that, buliding their program and being tougher opponents, people are wanting us to fill bad about a good season and some solid athletes, who worked since last fall and if you where there you seen the only loss 6-0 in the regular season. this yr. we are completley different, as a team and we are not going to take crap over being tough!!! as for the two and out, no one can say that about this group of guys until the third game.. It is simply amazing how many twist and turns, that we see the opinion of all except our own. Our schedule is prepared by the coaches and staff, they asked camden( they declined ),as did waverly this i know for a fact, and for various reasons i am sure . but just to satisfy others to see us lose, i cannot blame Lewis county coaches for the schedule, 10-0 if that be the end result is better than 8-2 , look and you will see. keep your eyes closed and be blind. lewis county has not done anything wrong, except win and make the opp. upset...

bottomline , lewis will most likely go 10-0 and probably 2nd round, but you apparently haven't a clue of how solid this team really is, glad your not a supporter of our program because losers like yourself are negative and if this group of young men make it it will simply because they want it bad enough to find a way every game to be victorious, they just play the games they are able and as for people like you we could care less about, so for you and other unintelligent forms of life stand back and see us go... and if they never make it past the 2nd rd we still support and care about our program and our boys, so take a hike

This was a kindness on the behalf of LC, in the 1st quarter ,Opening kickoff Jake Tenison smoked a long ko return for the first TD, then next series ChuckDodson takes arun up the middle, Then Jake (again) on a fumble recovery to the house, Then Chuck again pretty run up the mid, then a pass to Chris Odom so, much after the first qtr. 35-0 and in The 2ND qtr 2nd stringers and third stringers were in.. our A-team was not on the field again so for anyone wondering there was no point running up on sharps part... this could have been Very NASTY GAME BUT LEWIS COUNTY WAS A CLASS ACT!! also there was no dirty ball playing on the part of Raiders team as well.... Good luck to the Richland Raiders on the rest of the season.. and hope the kid with the broken ankle heals quickly....

Only one day away, Raiders and Panthers kick off , hope for an injury free,but hard hitting game also some good passing and solid tackling. This football and we all live for it season to season.. GO Panthers!!!

As for the game itself, let's say Raiders come out like they did 2 seasons ago , that would be a fun game but if they come out and we int. 3 passes then can they run or what other weapons have they got , from knowing our secondary, all of them are returning starters and solid, i cannot see raiders being able to beat us , not on pass alone, but it is exciting to think about having an airshow!! hope that it is an exciting game , as for the first two games we have had at least 5-6 different players score touchdowns so i cannot wait to see who will be the player steppping up this week .. greve, dodson, crowell, tenison, mathis,deline, etc. that is off. on defense same thing our team is fortunate to have some depth, but it is a new exciting challenge weekly. go panthers

Does the Raiders have a solid enough team in passing to give a great test or challenge to the panthers. we would like for it to be the First real challenge of the season and also a 62a regional game would love to hear feed back from RICHLAND SUPPORTERS.... go Panthers

sounds like another mount pleasant fan..lol once more we don't look past we do whatever it takes, whether it be run ,pass, or just play physical defense .. lewis county has several play makers, and several go to men on O and D, surely if you where there you seen it and we kept several out for most of the game on defense and offense..
