What is going on with the Waverly girls?Heard a bunch have quit or got cut?Why do girls not want to play bball in Waverly anymore?Great tradition and coaching there.Come on girls,step up and make Waverly proud .

We can tell you are a new poster.New to English as a first language also.Hope you can speak complete sentences better than you can write them.If you are on the football teamand a starter next year,it will be a long year for Waverly.

You my freind are a complete basketball moron!Cheatham will not win many games.Not enough self discipline to play as a team.Same old song and dance.Harpeth will be strong along with Sycamore and CW.Fairview and Waverly could be flying under the radar and slip into that championship game.SC will be out of control as usual.MC cant be too good.I went to alot of games last year and hope to make alot this year.

Tidwell has a great record coaching in that awesome TN River Conference.Anyone can beat those teams!The real teams are on the high school level.Gotta be good to compete and beat those teams.World of difference in coaching at the junior high level and the high school level.Besides,high school season interferes with duck season.

All I have to say is that papa has embarassed the Waverly fans long enough.He needs to go!My wife and I were sitting about the 35 yard line and I was listening to the radio while watching the game.When the game was over i heard papa say,"the final score Camden and the zebras 42 Waverly 28".Do you really think the "zebras"lost the game for Waverly?They did not commit the pass interference call in the end zone at the end of the first half,and it was interference an Waverly.That cost Waverly 7 points.The refs also were not responsible forthe 3 or 4 interceptions that Waverly threw.For once in your life just admit that the other team was better.As for the crowd support,Camdens sideline and bleachers were packed,so packed that we had Camden fans sitting on the Waverly side.It is pretty bad your the hometeam playing for a region championship and we cannot fill our bleachers.I was there,I saw for myself.When Waverly scored to make it 28-21 and on defense,some of the players parents,my wife and I included,and maybe,maybe 20% of the crowd was up cheering.We all should have been up going nuts!We were in the game,but the majority of our fans sat there like a knot on a log.We have got to get this changed.My son will be done after this year,but i will still come and cheer the team on.Its like "well,we are close,but its Camden,they will hold on."We seem to be happy with moral victories-they are useless.The coaches should be proud of the boys and themselves.They are battling opponents on and off the field.They are a great staff to fight this every week.GREAT JOB COACHES!Keep up the good work.

I see that no one wishes to oppose the GREAT GATORBAIT!Good thing.Iknow what i am talking about.The team with the most discipline will win the close games.This is why SCwill not win.They are not disciplined enough-as a team or as individuals or as coaches.New prediction-Waverly 36-SC 13.I would like to commend the Waverly coaching staff for the team and self discipline they stress to their players.They are great role models for all of our young men.Even if Waverly loses the game,they are winners because they teach the players how to act on and off the field first.Thanks for coaching my sons!

I wonder why Papatiger cannot be as optimistic about Waverly as he was about Waverly football.No matter what happened in football,he was always positive and had an excuse for every loss.Does not seem to be that way in basketball.Yes,Waverly appears to be small and athletic,but they play twice as hard as last years team did.Having no seniors is not that bad.The only one coming back was collump and he had entirely too many turnovers for a pg.Be a little more optimistic big PAPA.Waverly may not finish int he top 2,but they could finsh 3 or 4 in this district.Dont mean too jump on BIG PAPA,but i detect a little bitterness in your posts.Did you have a boy play for Waverly in the past?Did he play alot?Something against the coach?You were quik to defend Waverly football and the players that wer hurt or pretended to be hurt off and on all year.Try to be a bit more positive if you can.These guys are working hard and are tougher than alot of those guys that were on the football team.Stating the facts is fine,but state the facts for both sports.You know as well as every other parent that watched their kids play football this year,that a lot of those injured players could have played if they had wanted to-thats the truth and i know--sometimes the truth hurts.I commend Coach Graves for getting rid of the guys at the end of the year.I dont think Coach Rawlings will put up with that stuff either.

Iknow I get on you sometimes papa,but you are exactly right.ZERO effort Friday night.Those seniors should pay their parents back for paying to watch that effort,and give them gas money to boot!Coach Graves made a great decision to go with the youth movement.It will pay off next year.You underclassmen need to learn from this group of seniors.If you play the game with the same uninspired effort next year as you did this year,you will suffer the same results.I was ready to leave at halftime friday and would have but my son wanted to come home with me after the game instead of riding the bus.It is awfulk to watch players go out of a game because they get hit hard or standing on the sideline with a sprain of somekind.This is football!You are going to get hit and you are going to get hurt,that is just part of the game.You have to play hurt.You play 10 games a year,playoffs if your good enough,you should not want to be on the sideline.Quit listening to mommas and doctors and get your butts out there and play hard!Football is a life lesson.If you give up in football,you dont have a chance in life.Step up and be men before its too late!I dont want to see this same stuff next year.Lets start changing it now underclassmen.Werfel is the closest thing to a leader i have seen on the field.Dont let this happen again!PLAY WITH HEART AND PRIDE.yOURS TRULY,cLASS OF 62.BLUE?WHITE PRIDE FOREVER!
