  1. Having seen both MBA and Father Ryan play the same opponent (Ensworth), I don't think that Father Ryan will have the sheer force of will to stop MBA in what is going to be a very physical game. I believe that MBA will more than likely repeat their regular season success against Father Ryan and advance to the next round.
  2. Can't say that I see Knox-Webb pulling this one out, especially after Ensworth dogged them 57-21. Ryan will take the same approach and mash the ball down the Spartan's throats. Based on that, I predict that Ryan wins by at least 2 TD's
  3. No kidding. On Friday night, we'll find out the truth. I know that I've been looking forward to this game since I heard that it was scheduled earlier this summer.
  4. Probably 6-7 thousand if they don't let fans on the track behind the goal posts.
  5. From what I saw tonight, Ensworth is taking its place among the elite in D2-AA sooner, rather than later. I think next week's game should be a great matchup with MBA being undefeated after a close one with Ravenwood, a team that Ensworth seemed to handle very well before the season. Plus, the EHS v. MBA is going to be on tv as the "game of the week". It should be interesting, and I'm looking forward to going to it.
  6. Personally from what I've seen, there is no better soph. in the state than Ensworth's 3B/1B Will Netterville. The kid can flat out play, and is a solid power hitter with great contact ability. I yet to see a kid who can play as well as he can for his grade level. This kid is very talented.
