White House 3, Portland 0 Good district for the Lady Devils tonight. That brings them to 1 & 1, in the district. Katelyn Armstrong (F) 2 goals Megan Roberson (Sr) 1 goal. Excellent pressure all night. Played really really well. Lots of shots on goal. Sarah Smith (Sr) played oustanding tonight. Very aggressive. Won the ball just about everytime she went for it. Christina Pospisil (F) found her a nice spot in the middle, and crushed anyone that tried to get through. Anne Marie Smith (F) and Jording Denning (F) were doing really really well on the team side of the field. Making plays all night long. Tiffany Showalter (Sr) was right in the mix of it all . She keeps it up and she will have her one very soon. Love the intensity. Courtney Jamison (Sr) another good night. Thought she was going to have another goal... (maybe next game) Megan Garrett (So) had a really good steal and run right at the end of the game. She took the ball across midfield and sent it up the middle for a run on the goal. Emily Johnson (So) Annie Russell (So) and Caitlin Madden (Sr), Awsome job as our rock solid defense. I know I will leave someone out, because all of these Lady Devils played great tonight. Its hard to find someone knowlegeable in weight training. If done right. Only makes them better. But done wrong..... Trouble for their high school career. I've seen the results of bad weight training....Constantly fighting injured muscles.. back aches.... In my opinion, "Cardio, Cardio, Cardio...." Will win out every time. I think stamina is the key. You can build muscle strength without weights.

As expected..... Better watch out. Franklin is tough....... They have the potential to go all the way.

White House 5, Greenbrier 1 Great District win tonight!!! Lady Devils started off slow in the first half. Lots of shots on the goal. Just couldn't any to go in. First half score,, 0/0. Then the Lady Devils woke up!! And got on fire. Awsome passing. Great plays. Scoring: Megan Roberson (2) Katelyn Armstrong (2) Kelsie Payne (1) Glad to have Madden in the goal. Some great saves tonight. A physical game. Saw lots of bruises on legs and shins. These Ladys ain't scared to get in there and mix it up with anyone. I noticed on Coacht and TSSAA websites, that Station was scheduled to play Gallatin on Saturday the 15th of September. Anyone know if they played? The game was scheduled for 7:00 PM.

The game lasted way over regulation. It went about 4:30 minutes past end of regulation. Yep, same ref, was supposed to be keeping time.........

I just hope this game lives up to the hype. I watched White House play Portland. I liked the "W". I just would have liked to see them dominate the Panthers a little more. The turnovers decided that game. I will still be there in my Blue and White rooting them on. I just love the game. Love prep. Love the smack. And Love the smell of hotdogs and popcorn. Don't get no better than this! I'm ready for some football!!!! BDP

White House 6 --- East Robertson 3 Girls had a good game. Really attacking the ball tonight. Best I remember, Megan Roberson had 2 goals, Kelsie Payne 2, Katie Armstrong 1, Courtney Jamison 1. (Correct me If i'm wrong.) Brittanee Loftis took a really hard shot to her back, but hung in there. (tough girl.) Speaking of injuries. Anne Marie Smith broke her arm, in the Clarksville N.E. game last week. She was playing "lights out" that game and fell wrong. Hope to see you back soon. I think tonight was pick on Annie Russell night. Don't worry about that, just keep playing like you always do. Patience Merritt, Always in the middle of it all. Everyone could look to her, to see how to play the game. %110, the whole game!!! Emily Johnson had a really good game, also. She is sooo aggressive. Plays like she is 6 foot tall!!! Ain't nobody gonna bang her around! East Robertson tried to make a run there at the end. But after a couple of goals, we had enough of that. And shut them down the rest of the game.
