  1. It seems pretty logical to me...I'm not sure I'd want to get humiliated in the first round like that because there does appear to be a drop-off after Catholic this season. I might be perceiving it wrong (or even asinine in my perception /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> ), but it does seem like that somewhat.

kev....if u play or coach i would hate to be on ur team...i am apart of the 3-6 tigers and i can safly say that even if we have to play catholic or whoever they want to throw at us we would never quit...the record may not show it but we hav done some good things

  2. I have no idea what Bramblet's football knowledge consist of, but I do know you can not be the head coach over two major sports and give both the attention they need and deserve. Whatever went on last season really saddens me for some of the seniors who could have had a much better year. I did hear that a few of them got some scholarship help, and with a 0-10 season those players are to be commended for that. Hammonds will be a great fit for PF if "people" will leave him alone. By that I mean the principle, the boosters, and just all those who think they deserve a say so in who plays , what type of defense he runs, and what decision he makes on 4th down. PF has ran off more than one good coach or two (assistants included) by not allowing winning to be the #1 objective. Good Luck PF, except when you face the EAGLES! Oh, and if I'm not mistaken Mitchell Whaley is still on staff. He is great young coach who the Tigers are lucky has hung around.

i aree hammonds will be a good coach an whaley is as well.

  3. Whith an attitude like that, there is no wonder in my mind why he left. What you have to understand is that instead of spending time with his family he was spending his time with you and your team mates. Seems to me you should spend less time worrying about the coach and take care of the attitude first. I am sure he doesn't deserve that kind of disrespest. I realize that phatiger40 probably does't represent the other members of the Pigeon Forge team. This is just the opinions of an outside observer, take it for what it is worth.

It is clear that you are an outside observer. If you weren't you would know that not ever did Bramblet have the intrest of the team at heart. He didn't coach football he coached politics. He followed orders of what powerfull people in the community told him to do. Things that he could control like schemes an stuff he screwed up all on his own by refusing to run the ball and running a 3-4 defense...knowing that we couldn't stop the run in it. If you knew anyone that played on this team you would find that i am one on a long list of people who feel the exact same! why don't you check out some other forums an see. volunteerpride agrees...

  4. QUOTE(rubble @ Jun 3 2007 - 08:04 PM) 826470953[/snapback]I saw where pigeon forge had a new coach, what happened to the last one?

he was a son of a ###### an left....because he an his family, "couldn't take the presure of going o-10." if he wasn't a sry ###### coach we wudn't have went 0-10!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Rebuilding a program? PF was 20-34 in their first 5 years as a varsity program with state playoff births the last 4 years. Take out the 4 playoff games and they won 2/5 of their games. They are currently 0-9 this year. This is rebuilding? Coach Bramblett states in an article written by Jim Davis for the Mountain Press on Jan. 18, 2006, "I am not a person who wants to take over and change things just to change things. I'm going to take the good things that have gone on here and keep them in place as much as we can and build from there, and apply some of the things that I have learned and believe in." He had a returning QB, a TB that had over 1000 yds rushing last year and many other returning starters. But he replaces the QB with one that has never played a varsity game and moves the TB to receiver in a pass oriented offense and changes defenses and defensive tackling philosophy (also in the Mountain Press). Come on PF look at the facts. Maybe you didn't need a change. Change for the sake of change is not always good. Or maybe your expectations were to high to begin with and you were actually on the road to building a program a didn't realize it to start with.

ok i'm sorry but brett shields was not a good throwing QB he is great at running not at throwing. i do agree with the statment about brandon guidry

  6. Why are all the GP fans so interested in bashing what is going on at PF. Should this be something that you are concerned with? Still don't understand all the hate shown toward PF from GP. Maybe some of you used to be connected with PF and have some personal issues with the administration or the coaches. We are not even in the same Region anymore. You would think we would root for each other in every game but one. Oh well, be petty if you need to. I do wish GP well in the playoffs, there are a lot of good people over there.

that is because there is a rivalry. it doesn't matter if we are in the same region you don't just stop that kind of thing because you aren't in the same region. i would also agree that it is the coaches but it is a lott of the players fault to. I don't agree with the spread offense but i'm sure that if everyone on our offense would do their job we would be able to make big plays
