Congratulations to the Midstate Ballerz 16u team that had to beat the Atlanta Celtics in the semis and Carolina Celtics in the finals to win the Adidas Atlanta Summer Kickoff. The 17u team lost in the semis and the 15u team won the select bracket. All in all a great showing for the Ballerz and TN basketball.

Ballerz had a great finals winning by 13. They were up by as much as 20 but the Y wouldn't give up and cut it to 9 in the 4th. The Ballerz had a balanced attack, great 3 point shooting and good post play especially on the defensive end.

I agree these pools are not balanced at all.

Sorry to group you in with the Spartans. I have seen them play several times and don't care for their "style" of basketball. For the safety of the kids I don't think AAU should put up with teams that play that way. Could the refs have done anything to prevent the fight?

Good win for the Warriors. The Ballerz were short handed Sunday as lost their starting post to an eye injury on Saturday and their 3 point guards were not at the tournament.

Does anyone know the tie-breaker if Bearden and Farragut end up with one loss each in district and it is to each other?
