You need to get off your "water girl" thing. The freshman girls who helped did on their own accord. Not because someone forced them to, but because they wanted to. If basketball was hurting them, then they would quit....but its not, they haven't, and they aren't going to!

This was also the first year the THS girls ever played together.

TBB I've got to agree with you......somtimes I just get too fired up over some comments! Really no one knows exactly what can happen with these teams in the next few years. Girls could quit, others could move in, and things like that. It'll be interesting to find out what happens in 8AAA in the next few years! by the way TBB...do i know you?

Hmm..... thats kind of funny because if i recall correctly the tullahoma FRESHMAN did beat the shelbyville JV. And according to the scorebpard ths did infact hang with shelbyville the first quater. Tullahoma is young and in a couple of years I will find it quite hillarious when they win!

I really like many of your posts mjuhb, so i would hate to think that you are trying to say men are better coaches than women.....are you?

From what i've seen, the freshman had totally different plays and inbounds than varsity and a parent told me that they practiced separate so moving them up to varsity for the last few games wouldn't make much sense. They would've spent the whole time just trying to figure out what they were supposed to run.

correction: there were 13 freshman on the team and 12 planning to return

I wasn't there but I was told tullahoma lost by 2.

When Grundy Co came to play the Tullahoma freshmen team the girl got in also. The THS players stepped back and let her shoot and she had four points. Infact the whole Tullahoma bench was on their feet the second time she scored and several girls and the coach hugged her while slapping hands. Tullahoma won by a lot and when i asked one of the girls that had had a very good game what her best moment was, she said "When that one girl scored on me it was just awesome !"
