The Bulldogs gave all they had tonight versus an athletically superior team and lost 49-39. East Literature's Kelvin Winrow had 18 points and crashed the boards all night. Stephen Nelms had a good night for Cornersville as he had 14 points and at least 7 assists. Coach Wilson did a great job of keeping his team in the game up until the very end when Winrow slam dunked them.
I don't think that is fair at all. Coach Wilson is instilling great values to the Bulldog squad, on and off the court. I don't think we will see the fruit of his labor this year, but next year it will shine.
The Lady Rockets lost to Upperman 57-36. Forrest did not play very good at all and still had a chance to tie in the third quarter before Upperman put them away. I still think the Lady Rockets will find their stride before the the end of next month and make a run.
P.S. Collinwood is still the best team I have seen this year and that includes Upperman, Shelbyville, and Clarkrange.
The CMS Lady Dawgs went to 13-0 over the weekend when they defeated LMS and Cameron at the LMS Christmas Classic. Coach Joy McMasters has her squad fined tuned and ready to make some serious noise after the holidays. Their next teat will be at the Wayne Co. Vhristmas Tournament next week.
For those of you who have not seen Collinwood play, they are the class of Class A. The Trojanettes are 9-0 and are deep and very talented. The trio of Abby Andrews, Lesley Daniel, and Hannah Daniel will all play at the next level. I have seen many teams play this year and they are in the top three. They also beat Summertown 61-51 on the road this year. Last night they destroyed Cornersville 62-32.
I have schedules from all the teams in Marshall County and some list the Eagleville Christmas Tournament December 28th & 29th and others list the dates the 29th and 30th. Please update us. I have 12 Marshall County Teams to cover and I need to know. Thank you.
MCHS (6-4) defeated Page (2-8) 53-32. It was an easy victory for MCHS which used a balanced attack to defeat the visiting Patriots.

Knowing Morgan, that is just what he wants. He is determined this year to overcome all the obstacles in his way and that is no disrespect for any of his opponents.
Morgan Abrigo improved his record to 5-0 last night with two pins vs. Coffee Co. and LaVergne. He is the only senior on the Forrest team and is setting a great example for his underclassmen. Abrigo has to be the odds on favorite at for the State Title at 152.
