Thanks Rev.
It was just as funny as having a screen name after the alias of QB turned viral infection spreader turned dog-fighter, turned QB again.
Only in Hampton Roads could a story like this ever exist....
come on guys...an alias is an alias and killing some dogs (ps served his time for that)is not the same as people being torn apart for the sport of it by lions for their faith...Don't even try to go down that road. It is a message board that is (or at least should be) taken with a grain of salt and I understand that. I personally thought it was a low blow, thats all.

Great....there goes a joke I was saving for later......
*joke: The Fighting Christians will be facing the largest point spread since they faced the Rome Lions a few years ago....
somehow I dont find that joke very funy...

Hey cyclone! Guess CAK cheats as well????? Hope to see you soon in the playoffs!!! Hopefully in one of the earlier rounds. That is, if Betsy even makes the post season........
dont worry they will be in the playoffs...they already won that powerhouse district/region
-
Just EHS is 5-4 with their only losses being to non conference powerhouses. Science Hill, Asheville, Greeneville, CAK. those 4 losses are to teams with a combined record of 29-8
GREENVILLE and CAK combine for 18-0...while Asheville and Science Hill combine for 11-8.
FIXED IT!
Good Luck to Betsy on the rest of the season.

Alcoa 9-0 #1 in the State.....vs CAK 9-0 #2 in the state...Week 10 on a Thursday Night, which should mean a packed house. It does not get much better than this!
-
It's going to cost you a lot of money to send all the Alcoa peeps hats...APB would be the primary culprit
-
It looks like all of Alcoa, coaches and players are going to this game.
the more the merrier...
-
watched both of these teams live. It looks like McMinn Central is back to the central of old, I really do feel bad for them. The only thing they have going for them is the Mercy rule

Most excellent catch Ron Mehhhhhexico!
Gracias, Senior

Let's get something straight here TD. I am friends with Footballdad, GVK and Jrsdad. We banter back and forth because of the personal relationships we have developed face to face, normally over good food at BOH. You are a stranger that apparently does not get what is happening here. They poke us, we poke them. They make fun of us, we send stupid pictures or videos. There is nothing mean spirited here.
The problem is you. You are overly thin skinned and carry your emotions on your shoulders. Look in the mirror. The mean spirited one here is you. Suprising for a supposed CAK follower. In fact you are acting like a little teen age girl with your feelings all hurt. Grow up and figure out the dynamics and relationships on here before you go dripping all over the carpet.
I invite you to attend lunch at the BOH the THURSDAY of our game and we will decide if you are worthy of further torment. At this point, you are classified as wussy and not worthy of this elite treatment.
fixed it.....

...be afraid...be very afraid...

Shooter I will tel you just like I told FBD and the rest of you CAK fans. There is already a thread open for that, take that garbage there. Maybe if CAK would step up their non conference schedule they would be better prepared for a playoff run.
Alcoa by as many.....Stone has imporoved since last year, but just not there yet.
about the CAK schedule, you guys at Alcoa know as well as CAK that teams are not willing to play. Espically a private 3A school (becuase they are private, they cheat, even though 95% of the football players started CAK before 6th grade)and with the new playoff system it is only going to get worse! PS as a CAK fan could care less about OOZ (every school has them!)

Class 3A STATEWIDE as of this week (not ranked).....
Happy Valley (5-2)
Am I missing something...Happy Valley is 4-2 according to http://www.coacht.com/tennessee/inside/team.cfm?schoolid=208&sportid=1
do they only play 9 games?

I received confirmation today that the Class 3A "mock bracket" that was released this week as INCORRECT. Why is this the case? Johnson County out of East-TN currently sits at 2-0 in their district and would be an "automaic lock" for the playoffs if they started today. The TSSAA "mock bracket" has them on the outside looking in when in reality that would not be the case.
The correct "mock bracket" for Class 3A looks as follows:
Q-1
West Greene
South Greene
Chuckey-Doak
Sullivan North
Gatlinburg-Pittman
Elizabethton
Happy Valley
Johnson County
Q-2
Alcoa
CAK
Kingston
Loudon
Howard
Tyner Academy
Austin-East
Sequatchie County
Q-3
Goodpasture
Smith County
Bledsoe County
East Literature
Polk County
Pearl-Cohn
CPA
York Institute
Q-4
Camden Central
Milan
Fairview
Westview
Cheatham County
Waverly Central
Lewis County
Booker T. Washington
Johnson's County's "automatic bid" into the playoffs would (for the moment) knock Oakhaven out of the postseason. There is a very long way to go in order to decide this so I wouldn't be too quick to fall in love with the bracket if I were any of these teams sitting on the "bubble".
QUESTION for the Coachters....will a 5-4 team get in the playoffs over a 5-5 team...seems that there are two teams only playing 9 games this season. West Greene and Johnson County
-
Congrats on the win... Scott County is a tough place to play especially late in the season as it gets downright frigid up there.
So "Dad"... are you a player or a coach?
Dad cannot respond right now he is watching the film and getting ready to work like heck for Kingston...

So I guess after reading this "little Johnny" cannot be allowed in at Alcoa. He is 6'6" 320 lbs. Benches 450+ Squats small tractors and runs a 4.4 Voted best lineman in Texas his Freshman year. But, woe is me, he only has a 2.5 GPA and his TCAPS stink. Yeah right, keep on believin'. Not hatin'....just sayin'. My guess would be that some "tutoring" would be available if needed.
FB and GVK quick find the ole garbage truck, fire it up, and find little johnny...
-
Bump.. For those who want it.
-
I kid, I kid, Alcoa rolls as usual...
-
howdoitknow2,
I realize this is just a mock bracket, but I was under the impression that the quadrants would still be decided by geography. If so, how would Polk Co. be in quadrant 3 when they are far east of Howard, Tyner, and Sequatchie, who you have in quadrant 2?
By all means take Sequatchie out and put Polk in! That will help with making the bracket easier...
-
Yakity Sax never gets old....
I keep waiting for Benny Hill to run across the screen being chased by some scantily clad women.
Or, Benny Hinn to heal somebody.....
This Benny Hinn?

The correct "mock bracket" for Class 3A looks as follows:
Q-2
Alcoa
CAK
Kingston
Loudon
Howard
Tyner Academy
Austin-East
Sequatchie County
that would be one tough bracket!

I like my Dawgs moving up the list this week. This team is starting to look better on the offensive side of the ball each week. Run D is solid.
I am sure Alcoa will keep rolling but I would love to see that week 10 matchup between CAK and the Tornadoes.
I hear the game between CAK and ALCOA has been moved to Thursday night for all those interested.
CAK & Alcouh
in Class 3A & Class 4A
